First the only negative I have about the unit, it's a bit boxy. Will not win any beauty contests. The positives are worth this small negative. Sound is clear, and balanced. Unit can produce a wide range of tones. No longer need to turn on sub when listing to radio, this speaker produces enough low tones so the radio sounds good. I was looking at the smaller version of this speaker but after listening to both speakers at Best Buy it was easy to choose the larger version. The difference was in the lower tones. The energy speaker works well with the other klipsch speakers in the system. No problem with volume, no idea how loud it can go, want to keep my hearing.

The two Best Buy's near me have different listening room setups so I would go back and forth between the two listening to all the center channels. My price range was around $300 and I was looking at the Energy CC-10 and Klipsch VC-25. I wasn't to impressed with the Definitive Technology or Polk. The Energy CC-10 had a nice look to it plus larger and weighed more. The more weight the better to me they sound fuller and deeper. I looked up Energy online and found they are owned by Klipsch which was a selling point for me. I've owned a pair of Klipsch speakers for over 10 years and they still sound great. When I compared the CC-10 to other centers I found one I liked about the same in sound quality the Bowers Wilkins HTM61B. Then I noticed the price tag on the Bowers Wilkins was $650! So I knew my shopping was over with an took home the Energy CC-10. Totally changed how movies sound wish I would've bought a center years ago. Only down side to this speaker is the size. Its larger than most the other centers.

I can finally watch movies without having to strain to hear dialog. I heard sounds that were not clearly reproduced by my previous center channel. Glass breaking, bullets shells hitting the ground and all the action along with dialog are produced clearly and powerful. Even listening to music is enhanced. The speaker is nothing to looking at but you'll be too busy looking for the sounds that it's putting out. It's a bit large.

Was looking for a center channel with some vocal clarity. Wanted a full range unit and found energy. Next thing I know we are replacing our entire system with energy. Good size, fits in well with larger tv's. Great sounding system!

I bought this center channel speaker as a part of a set to replace my first generation Pioneer speakers. I happened to be at my local Best Buy to purchase a printer and wandered over to the Magnolia section as usual. I saw all of the Energy Speakers were on sale for a great price. Some one was listening to another brand at the time and was about to buy a much more expensive speaker set. Once I had them switch to the Energy speakers (the CC-10 and CF-30 towers) we were both amazed at the additional details we heard. In fact, I think I screwed up the sale,as the other person was about to buy much more expensive speakers. I also had them play some acoustic jazz and the sound was incredible. I'm no audiophile by any stretch, but this speaker was on a different level compared to the Pioneers. Finally, they sound even better in my setup at home. I would even say they are worth the full price and I never do that!

Really great center speaker channel but it is enormous. I had to get a new tv stand to be able to fit it. But it does sound excellent. Great deal!

This is a great center channel. Great clarity and bass. Perfect combo with my energy cb20 and cb5. You won't regret it.

Looks and sounds very nice, We really like the deeper base sound.

The center channel delivers quality sound, enhancing the highs and mid range of the column speakers, while also supporting the base.

At first I was not sure. But, at the advice of the Best Buy rep. I gave them a little more time to break in and upgraded the speaker cable to audio quest type4 cable and now I can say they are well worth the money. As time goes by (3 months) they just get better.

never heard of this brand but my alarm company who does house installs, said they carry this brand with great results. Very happy with it....

I am very impressed with this speaker. I purchased the entire 5.1 system from energy and it has changed my movie experience at home drastically. Would definitely recommend.

Very happy with this speaker. It appears to be very well constructed. Very rich and wide range of sound reproduction for it's size. Crisp and clear.

I get the full range from lows to midrange to hi's I have 2 of these for both of my receivers I would definitely recommend this product
