I love the size of this laptop since I use it when I work from home. I need a big screen size for my work. I also need to hook up 2nd monitor and this works well for me. The screen resolution is beautiful, so much so, that my external monitor looks so dull when using side by side. Love the option of turning on backlight for keys. The only negative I found so far is no num lock indicator.

Super fast! Very easy windows 10 program. Not heave, great picture and sound. Love the lighted keyboard and love the touch screen. Love how when you open it up it raised off the surface so it never over heats . Love the quick responce to everything i do. Looks BEAUTIFULL! LONG BATTERY LIFE.

This is a great laptop with power, good speed, lots of memory and storage.

I bought this laptop as an exchange of a defective Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 17" laptop. The Envy 17M is a great 17.3" laptop. It has all the features I was looking for, including enough USB ports, Having a DVD drive was a plus I wasn't planning on. I am using this laptop as a portable laptop. I don't plan on taking it to work or too many places, so the 6.4 lb weight isn't a problem. Most of the time, it will just be moved around the house. The laptop worked perfectly when I plugged it in, turned it on, and set it up. The keyboard has a really nice feel. There is enough key travel to make it comfortable to type on. The screen, 1920x1080, is bright with good color balance. Overall, this laptop is a pleasure to use, and I am very glad I purchased it. I did let it run through the Windows 10 setup, then rebooted it and installed Ubuntu Mate (GNU/Linux) 18.04. It is working perfectly, with no problems. I do plan on replacing the 16 GB Optane cache memory with a 500 GB MVMe M.2 Samsung 970 Evo SSD, and install Ubuntu Mate on that drive, keeping the 1 TB HDD as a data drive. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone who wants a portable desktop replacement that has very good specs; nice, bright screen; and an excellent keyboard that results in a positive typing experience.

After researching optional touch-screen laptops, the HP Envy 17.3 was the best choice for my business. Operation performance is fast and great! Love the touch-screen and pleased so far with battery life when working on the go with customers.

I purchased this laptop for my child to use for middle school. It’s sleek, quick, and he loves the large screen. The touch screen is an added bonus but you’ll need a screen cloth to keep any OCD in check. Price was right and it should be plenty to get him through high school as well!

Great, beautiful computer, amazing screen-which was a big plus when purchasing. I had the 2014 15 inch 2-in-1 version of this laptop and absolutely loved it until switching to Adobe CC. I figured I’d give the latest and greatest a try as I loved the first one. After about 2 months, the fan made an awful grinding noise. Having purchased open box certified, I was able to go back to the store and exchange it. I went with a brand new in box one and a week later, I got the same noise. I’m assuming that it is getting very hot because I run adobe and illustrator constantly for work and it just could not handle it. I ended up getting a different laptop all together after the two different laptops had the same issue

I do most of my work from home and the weight of the laptop was important to me. I wanted something that would not tip over. Plus I love the large screen that this offers. The cord is also plugged in on the right side which , for me, was the best side. No complaints at all!!!!

I wanted a sturdy laptop with a comfortable keyboard, large screen AND a CD/DVD drive since I have a lot of old software that I wanted to install. This is perfect to use in different locations of my house. Setup was easy. All files transferred easily from my 7 year old pavilion, software even from XP works fine and I have no complaints.

This laptop is EXACTLY what I needed! It can handle my crazy multitasking! I am constantly working in Photoshop, my design software, plus at least 10+ Chrome tabs at one time! Lol This PC is lightning fast and I LOVE THE TOUCH SCREEN! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING graphics!!

I really like this laptop. It was very easy to setup and get going. I gave it only 4 stars because I found the keyboard backlight unhelpful and bothersome. The lit up numbers & letters blend in the with silver coloed keys which makes it hard to see unless you are sitting directly above the keyboard. I wish they had dark outline or the keys themselves were in a dark color for better contrast.

I have had and used this laptop for 9 months now. I am really happy with it. I specifically wanted a laptop with a big screen, since I work with pictures allot. The color and clarity of the photos are great, The keyboard is easy to type on and I like all the extra little features it has. I highly recommend it.

I used to have a HP 17 inch laptop and gave it to my daughter because hers stopped working. I replaced it with a 13 in laptop because it was smaller to carry when I traveled. Now I am retired and not traveling I bought this HP 17 inch laptop and it is so easy to use especially with the large screen. I will not go to a smaller screen again.
