I researched for a few weeks on the computer that I wanted to purchase and this one checked everything off of the list for me. The finger scanner doesn’t always recognize but that is not a big deal at all. Highly recommended.

This is the second 17.3 inch touch screen HP Envy computer. I'v had and use the first one for over seven years and was totally satisfied with it. When it was time to upgrade to a newer and faster computer, I didn't hesitate to get another HP Envy computer. I would recommend them to anyone.

I like having choice of using the pointer or use of touch screen. Fast compared to my old laptop.

I bought this laptop to replace my other one as my primary work computer when I work from home. I love the larger screen size and the performance has been top notch. The speakers could be better, but I guess that's common for a laptop. Great computer and I couldn't be happier.

I found it necessary to replace my previous laptop in a hurry and was fortunate enough that this laptop was in stock at my store. It has more computing power and is much lighter than the one I replaced. It's my first touch screen and I'm looking forward to incorporating Ink into my editing.

this laptop is a really good value. The speed is excellent and the screen is so vibrant.

I love having the 17 in touch screen especially since I have to wear glasses now. Haven't had any issues. I use it for work, spreadsheets, word, email. Pictures, basic internet surfing. Plus it has a CD player which we still need sometimes.

It is funny how we don’t realize how bad our previous computers were until we get new ones. This laptop is so fast and not too heavy. I also love that it can have a secondary monitor attached to it, so I can do double the work at the same time. I highly recommend this one.

I have been very pleased with this laptop. It is BIG, but that is just what I wanted. I need to see the screen. It is still very light and compact to travel with but enough size to not have eye strain when working at home. GREAT machine. AWESOME shopping experience.

The computer itself seemed great, but after setting it up I quickly realized how loud it was (mostly from the fan running almost constantly). I ended up returning it because the loudness was too annoying/distracting. Not entirely sure if that one was just detective though because other reviews didn't seem to mention how loud the fan was. I then got the hp spectra which was more money than I wanted to spend but it is silent.

This laptop is worth every penny! Despite the large 17.3 inch screen it is still rather thin and sleek. Responsive operating system that easily handles tasks for college. It runs The Sims 4 beautifully, with no lag. Fingerprint reader, media card reader, CD/DVD drive.

I'm a adult that went back to school and this laptop is fantastic! It's got your high speed processor great camera you can run multiple programs at once without any lag, super security if you want it, touch screen... you can't beat it for the price! I definitely recommend

Very stylish and so much faster than the HP i bought about a year ago. PLUS, this one doesn't just stop running in the middle of what you are working on to give you the BSOD like mine used to, so HP hasn't ripped us off for another 99.00 while it was under warranty.

Bought this computer to replace a 5 year old Hp I loved. Extended warranty and all. Never had a touch screen before I loved it for about 2 weeks when the screen went crazy and then black. Take it in to Best Buy and get looked at like a criminal we’ll did you drop it? No actually it’s pretty obvious I didn’t there isn’t a scratch on it. Plus I paid over $300 for the warranty that covers accidents so needless to say it back to the manufacture for up to 14 days. Maybe it’s just simple manufacturing flaw maybe not but it’s to early to tell how good it is to review because it only worked a total of 6 hours in a couple week period

This laptop has all the features I needed. A disk drive is a great feature for when you already have disks of software that you want to load. This model has the power to game, email, ancestry research and most everything else. Screen size is perfect especially for seniors

Fast & quiet. Serves as main computer for business & personal needs. The 17" screen supplements a larger monitor at home and is much easier to view when on the road. The added viewing ability is well worth the slight extra weight & size to carry.

I bought this size because I use it for work and often have 2 screens open. So it's a little heavier than others, but that's due to its size. I struggled with the fingerprint login for a minute, but after I played with it a bit, it's worked great.

After exchanging 2 prior purchaces, I stick with this one based on my needs. However it is super heavy. So if you're going to be moving it around, I'm.notnaure it's for you. But if you need a dedicated graphics card ? It's your best bet for the price.

So love my new laptop it has and does everything I need it to do and easy to figure out the programs that's pre installed. Would highly recommend this HP laptop and at Bestbuys whom gave me a great price on everything I needed for my new laptop.

Shipment was as promised. It was easy to set up. I like the large screen and like the touch screen feature. Key board is very comfortable. The windows 10 works much better than it did on my old computer which was updated from an original windows 8.
