I'm not a computer person, don't use it a ton, don't play games much. I use my computer for writing papers, looking up information, and for organizing and editing photos and videos. It's been a great computer for my purposes. My 5 and 7 year olds have played games and watched videos on it and it's not given me a bit of problems.

Aijiah was very knowledgable about all 8 of the laptops we were considering purchasing. He explained all the pros &cons of each so we could make an informed choice. We spent more than we planned, but I know we will be very happy with the touch screen and faster speed and heavy duty case. Love the protection plan also.

I was actually pretty impressed with this device. I have looked at AMD devices with disdain for the past 15 years or so. I had read some decent reviews of their Ryzen platform so I figured I'd check it out myself. Pleasantly surprised at the performance. It's a pretty good laptop, considering the cost.

I purchased this laptop so I can put my data and other information in the cloud as needed. This laptop is very fast and it seems to be well constructed. The fact that it an SDS laptop should make it more reliable and less subject to breakage with normal use. The battery seems to last a good amount of time.

Positives:
- This laptop was the best value to performance that I was able to find at Best Buy!
- The ryzen 5 is plenty snappy and the Vega 8 gpu allows moderate gaming!
- This blows out the intel spec version of this laptop that has the 8th gen i5 which is only a bit faster but it completely lacks a decent intergrated gpu that can compete to the Vega 8 especially at this price point.
- It surprises me that I was able to get this ryzen version for much cheaper then the intel.
- the build quality of this computer is impressive as well for the price since it seems to have very minimal to no plastic showing and is rigid.
- Beautiful design and great performance for the price!!!
Negatives:
- Due to its build quality being more solid, this can be one hefty tablet if used as one
- the screen seems super dim. At max brightness my iphone 7 outshines it by a long shot.
- there hasn’t been any substantial driver updates for the past few months which may be an issue down the line if this trend keeps up.
- a fellow classmate of mine got themselves a new pavilion at the same time I got this laptop and both were the same thickness. The issue with this was that their pavilion had a included ethernet port and my envy didn’t which seems unreasonable assuming the envy is suppose to be a bit more higher end then the pavilion laptops.

It has everything you would need if you're going to school, work from home or casual gaming. The SSD could have been larger than 128GB, but for the price it's a good deal. The touch screen also functions really well. I feature I didn't need, but I now ended up using more than I thought. Overall a very solid laptop.

Great Machine

The tablet/laptop flexibility of this machine is nice. The screen is wide enough and the speed of the processor is not bad... AMD is not bad. Compare this product to Dell and Asus options before making the final decision, but if you go with it, it's not a bad deal. Because it is a tablet/laptop combo, keep in mind that if anything happens to it, i.e. if the screen cracks or if the ports are damaged, repairing may be just as if not more costly than buying new/replacement... Trust this one in a thicker case, but expect to enjoy the experience of use. Great processor for graphic design work and not too bad for large document publishing.... However, you will find that the 8 GB of RAM may be a bit on the low-end for large volume activity. If you are going with this machine because you are doing work for third-parties, it is a good idea to consider upgrading the memory to at least 16GB. The processor is solid.

I went from a Surface to this laptop. I loved my surface, but the screen size and keyboard weren't working for me anymore. I love that this can go into tablet mode and has a 10 key on the keyboard. I have used this for homework, photo editing, and finances and budgeting.

Bought this for my son for college. Love the touch screen and the laptop plus tablet features. So far product works great. Seems like it was a good investment. We got a great deal on it with the additional student discount plus it was already on sale. He’s happy so I’m happy.

I looked at several computers before I decided on the HP Envy, thinking that I needed bigger and better. However, I realized that I only had a need for the above capacity. I don't need it for a business, only occasional use. I am glad I chose wisely, because this was a much better price. Bought the HP Envy printer as well.

The speed is great , quality and processing satisfying . I recommend getting one with high storage or buying an external storage source. I love the face recognition, the fast keys to key lighting, and the programs it comes with. My overall review is a 90%

I purchased this computer for my girl friend and so has been so happy with it. From drawing to surfing the web everything is so easy to navigate. We’re by no means computer savvy, but with the start up tools provided it wasn’t long before we we’re using tools like we worked for the geek squad.

HP ENVY 2 + 1 touch screen laptop folds into a notepad and that's a pretty neat feature it's a little bit heavier than some of the others what is built pretty well especially all out of metal the touchscreen feature is pretty well too I like that a lot

We were replacing an old Dell computer (after 2 hard drives died), so far we love this Envy. It was very easy to set up and is pretty fast. We have been very happy with it thus far. We did't necessarily need a 2 in 1 but the option is convenient

The HP Envy does everything I want it to do. Nice sharp pictures, It has the back-lit keyboard which I will only buy these days. I would have liked the letters to be a little higher but I am getting used to it. The touchscreen is amazing.

Mainly play osrs which doesn’t require much but this laptop is a beast. I run it 12 hours a day and I’ve no signs of issues. The touch screen is a bonus, i don’t use it. Best laptop for the price point 100%. Glad I went with this laptop over a $400 laptop i would have to upgrade. Good quality

So far, this laptop has been great. This is my first laptop with AMD processor (Ryzen 5). I was a bit hesitant to purchase, but the speed has been pretty good.
The only negative is the screen brightness could be better. Even at max brightness, it is much darker than other laptops.
