Great specs/features in a mid-size tower

The i7 processor along with the 16gb of ram makes most tasks a breeze. I didn't understand the whole point of the optane memory until I began using the desktop more. After using the desktop for two days, the optane memory recognized my ubiquitous use of Steam and Excel and began launching those applications much faster. The desktop is a mid-size tower so it won’t take up a ton of space but it isn’t the space saver that an all-in-one design is. The biggest con is that all of the inputs (USB inputs, headphone, and card reader) are on the top of the case facing away from the user. Besides that, this desktop is minimalist in its looks and performs extraordinarily well.

I also own an HP IPS monitor that I am using with my new desktop. I have always been happy with the user friendly, high quality, long lasting equipment that I have purchased from HP.

Had to go through a lengthy Windows update, but that is normal any more with a new computer. The vertical disk drives never instill that much confidence, but I've had no problems with it.

No issues so far accept the wireless keyboard and mouse are as slow as molasses. Hp replaced them and same issue. Tech remoted in and made some changes no difference so I hooked up my old wired ones. No issues.
