This laptop is the perfect size and very intuitive. It's lightweight and compact, and is much more portable than other laptops I've had. I like the flexibility of the tablet mode, and it starts up and processes very quickly thanks to the SSD. The only issue I've had is that it does seem to occasionally disconnect from the internet as other users have noted. I've always been able to reconnect, and it hasn't happened recently, but it has occurred a few times. Overall I really like the design and haven't seen anything comparable in this price range.

Extremely well built laptop for the price. The display is amazing windows hello extremely fast crazy long battery life about 8 hours, nice and small, love the inch to inch display bezels, fan is alright noticeable, but not very loud. Also, love the graphics!!! Amazing laptop for the price!

Great device for the price! The fan sound I read about almost scared me out of making my purchase. It’s not that loud, to me anyway and it rarely comes on. It reminds me of a quiet white noise, which I like when I’m studying anyway.

Good features, disappointing battery life. Still adjusting to “Windows” operating system. Like the “touch screen” feature.

I bought this HP envy about a month ago now and it has been everything I expected it to be. I am a student so it is just the size I wanted and very light to carry around. However, a week after the purchase, the internet started to connect and disconnect and I had to reset the laptop. I think one of the updates hadn't installed successfully which led to the problem. But once the reset was done, and all the updates were installed properly, the laptop has been working great!

Great product but main issue is the WIFI Adapter just contact HP on the Web and get in contact with someone who can fix the computer remotely. Just watch while they are doing the job and it will be fixed in no time. After they did that its been working so far so good for about a week or little more. Ask for the guidelines as well to redo the steps yourself.

It’s a great overall laptop for everyday usage. However, I encountered that the fan starts up and is very loud for no reason. I would just have my laptop open and on my desktop, and the fan would start up. I don’t run any GPU or CPU extensive programs, so I was kinda irritated with. Especially because I am a college student and I would be in the middle of a test and it would start up and I would distract others.

We purchased this computer primarily for use with a college curriculum. So far, the computer performs very well, and better than expected. We considered two other brands, and are now glad we went with this model in the HP Envy series.

I needed a compact but durable laptop and it was a great buy! I also love the speed.

Got the laptop since the price was right. Battery life is ok. I like the size and price wise, the clarity is about right. The AC adapter is not USB-C. The major gripe is the trackpad. It's so bad that I had to buy a small mouse. The left/right button on the trackpad is a one button type and it's as bad as the pad itself. Also, a stylus does NOT come with the laptop. Overall, I give this a 3.5.

Good screen size, portable really good processor and decent memory. I would have loved a 256 GB drive. However, you can purchase an external drive to store your files.

Love everything about this computer. Fast set-up and unusually fast start...every time. Very easy to use and so many helpful prompts for updates.

I absolutely love everything about this gem. I have had 4 HP's in 20 yrs. because I wear them out and use them to the point of they just don't work anymore. I always head to HP because they are reliable. I still have my HP 15" Notebook, which I love also. One is kept in the living room and the other in the bedroom and travels with me. The Envy is quick, exceptionally clear pictures and graphics, and while learning all the 'new' things it can do, they are surprises that are so helpful that come at just the time needed. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but, really, now that I've been using and getting enjoyment and results, I'm satisfied.

This is a great lightweight laptop for the average college student. If you’re looking for a completely versatile laptop, I highly recommend you looking into purchasing this one.

Nice fast and doesn't get too hot. Just wish I could upgrade the ram like in last years model. I think I should be able to keep this for a while. It's small but the keyboard feels great. Wish the keyboard back lighting had levels instead of just on or off. Windows Hello makes logging in and using my password manager quick and simple.

It is a good laptop for business and easy to carry around.
