So I’ve had this thing for a total of three weeks. It has no multitasking capability, and if I try to have YouTube on, it’ll stop the video at random points and green will go across the screen after it blacks out, then resume the video like nothing happened. I’ve had two bluscreens during the past three days. Not to mention this thing almost overheats whenever I don’t have a fan pointed at it.

This little 2 in 1 is fast and light, but also very well made. It feels nice to the touch and the finishing is grippy enough that it doesn't slip while holding in one hand. Setup was as with most windows computers. I followed the prompts and signed in with my Microsoft account. As always, I ran for updates first (after getting my favorite browser extensions loaded). After those ran their course, the first thing that I noticed is how fast this computer is. I was pleasantly surprised. We have an older desktop and my work computer that are not the fastest. Solid State is the way to go. Everything loads quickly and just as importantly, works quickly while you're using it. People forget about that. Also, it loads fast. I think from pushing the power button to seeing the home screen is 10 seconds. This is my first 2 in 1. I have a touchscreen laptop and a tablet with an attachable keyboard. This is not my preferred format. The keyboard is better than the detachable one, which I actually quite like. This is just better. Flipping around to tablet mode brings the prompt from windows to go into tablet mode. You can choose to have it change to tablet mode automatically or for windows to keep asking. If I have anything to complain about, it's the clarity of the screen. I thought that 1080 on this screen would be sharper than it is. In most use, it's actually clear enough. It's mostly with text that I feel that I would like a bit more sharpness. But with that said, for the price I would get this model again with the screen that it has. Battery life has been great and the charging time are faster that I would have thought. I haven't been without it when I needed it yet, and I have not used it while charging. Since it loads so fast, I've actually been turning it off rather than letting it hibernate or go into standby mode as I would with many other laptops. That has also saved a lot of battery. Overall, I really like this and even though I complained about the screen, it has replaced my higher resolution tablet and laptop. The size is great and it's so nice to work on something so fast. I hope that it maintains its speed as my other solid state computer has. Highly recommended.

This laptop is bangin'. A tablet and laptop in one with bumping speakers and that cool face sign-in. It takes some getting used to as it has features that I am not used to, but is an awesome device that can be personalized well. I love mine and hope to have it for a long time.

The HP Envy x360 laptop works great as a tablet to jot down seminar notes and do calculus homework. Works fine with bamboo pen and the HP pen (or your finger lol). And takes up very little space in a bookbag or purse. I have the Ryzer 5 version and its very fast.

The computer it’s self is good looking and works well. The screen is a little dim even on max setting. I’ve also had lots of WiFi connection problems with it and have had to fully reset it due to it not allowing me to log in using any of the options. If I were to go back I would maybe survey my options more.

I’ve been using the HP Envy X360 for just about a week now and have been very happy with the overall performance and design. The laptop looks great with a dark ashy grey color and slim body. To me, the color almost looks like a very dark purple in some light. There is a damascus steel styled edge that gives a nice little touch adding to the premium look and feel of the laptop. I really like the size and feel of the keyboard, the keys almost feel mechanical, although not quite, and having the backlit keyboard is great. Typing on this keyboard is a breeze. The trackpad is wider than a lot of other laptops and the right and left click on the pad work like they do on a mouse. I like the wider trackpad and feel like it makes it easier to navigate the screen. I’m very happy with the display on this laptop. I love having the touch-screen ability and take full advantage of it when utilizing various apps and programs. The picture on this display is great, HD content is very sharp and the colors are vibrant and crisp. I’ve streamed videos and movies from VUDU, Netflix and Youtube without any issues. The speakers sound really nice too with B&O supplying the audio system, however connecting to a larger speaker via bluetooth is always an option. The bluetooth has been very quick to connect to multiple devices without any problems. The performance for me has been perfect. I’ve run multiple windows and task simultaneously, and haven’t run into any major performance issues. I have not tried any gaming and probably won’t, beyond what’s available in the app store. I don’t think the specs are quite good enough for any big games or for doing much video editing, but this computer is perfect for just about anything else. I really think having a solid state drive makes a big difference and helps the laptop to boot up and run quickly and smoothly. The SSD is on the lower side with only 128gb however there is a micro SD card slot that you can take advantage of for storing your files. The laptop comes with a two piece standard wall charging cord but you can also charge it using a USB-C cable. Having the USB-C port available for charging adds a lot of versatility and gives you more mobility since you won’t have to lug around the long, heavy-duty power cable. There is no HDMI port on this laptop so you will need to buy a USB-C to HDMI adapter if that’s something you need. I think this is a very nice everyday use laptop that is very mobile friendly with it’s lightweight design, USB-C charging and touch-screen display. I love the design and feel of the keyboard as well as the display and the audio system sounds better than most. I would definitely recommend this laptop to friends.

I purchased this laptop as a replacement to a Lenovo that malfunctioned within a couple of days of use. Now 2 years later with this laptop and it still works as well as it did when I bought it. Definitely did not disappoint.

    Elegant design meets functionality

This laptop is sleek and stylish, which is what initially caught my eye. A dark ash case coupled with a slim profile creates a design that is elegant and easy to handle. Despite it’s thin contour, it is still balanced with enough heft to provide sturdiness whether using it as a laptop or tablet. It never feels bulky, yet the durable hinges imbue a sense of quality that is found throughout the components of this compact machine. As someone who relies on my devices for multi-tasking, editing, and presenting, there are a few features that stand out to me. First is the incredibly tactile, backlit keyboard. It has everything I need to quickly navigate. It is coupled with the extra wide keypad, so I still haven’t needed to connect a mouse yet, which is typically my first step when using a laptop. Finally, the 16:9 screen with this high resolution gives me plenty of space to open multiple tabs and do side by side editing. The gorgeous black bezel gives the illusion of a bigger screen and creates a polished look if I open this up with clients. Wish the device activated automatically when I opened the screen, but pressing a quick button and then having the camera recognize and log me in is a time saver that is much appreciated. The built-in speakers don’t blow me away, but are more than sufficient for playing internet videos and listening to music as I create presentations and marketing materials. The processing speed is also zippy and keeps up with my photo and video editing needs, both through installed software and cloud based applications. Unlike my previous device, this one will run all day on a single battery charge, leaving me untethered and free to work wherever is convenient. Overall, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality and efficiency of this solid laptop. I’m not an expert on the most up-to-date specs and internal components, but my husband is meticulous at researching all that. So far this gift from him has been more than sufficient for every task I’ve thrown at it.
