I exchanged a dell for this HP Envy because the dell would not function properly. So far the HP Envy been a great laptop to bring on my business trips. Its fast and compact and the screen quality and size is good.
The bad:
Battery life is not so good. I only get 3 to 4 hours out of it when streaming vids or just surfing the internet but its still acceptable for me.
I found HP support a mixed bag . Some of them try to help but most run through a script that may not apply to your problem, One HP a-hat got mad when I ask to many questions and locked me out of my computer and did not call back. I caught his shenanigans right before he disabled my computer, but it was to late. the machine shutdown and would not take my sign in and had to be factory reset.
WIFI. lots of complaints on the forums and reviews about this and my machine was no different.
Hp could not fix and asked me send it in for repairs or return to BestBuy. Before I decided on this I did a bios update that just came out and I removed the Comcast Norton suite. I now rely on Windows defender.
I restarted my computer and the WIFI has worked flawlessly since. No issues after this and now I am satisfied with my purchase.
For those of you that have Comcast and use Norton read this->

I liked the size and feel of this laptop. It also had plenty of speed and never lagged. But there were some deal breakers for me: the constantly running fan and the subpar touchpad. I suppose it is difficult for a laptop with this kind of horsepower (CPU + GPU) to keep cool but the fan would run for long periods of time when seemingly nothing was happening in the task manager. Worse, the fan blows out one side of the laptop and not the back so it wears down your left ear. As for the touchpad, it isn't a "precision touchpad" and didn't work that great for me. The touchpad software was also somewhat annoying. Anyway, I ended up trading it in and got a Samsung Notebook Pro 9 which isn't as sexy but works better for me.

Overall I LOVE this computer. It's quick, light and sleek looking. My only issue is, I thought the battery life would be better. I'm getting maybe 5 hours while surfing the internet with power saving settings on. Also, I had to change the Wireless Settings when on battery power as when I was upstairs away from the router I kept dropping my connection. This is a common problem I read about with this computer. However, after changing my settings I've got no problems at all and plenty of speed. To top it off, I got a Great Deal at Best Boy with an Online Open Box Deal. Thanks Best Buy!

The HP - ENVY x360 with the Ruben 7 is a no frills laptop that is a solid performer. Out of the box it only includes the laptop and power supply (which is a surprisingly smaller adapter than other laptops).
The display is crisp and at 1080p resolution is just fine and excellent for watching videos.
The sound can be cranked up to amazingly loud levels compared to the other laptops we tested at the store and at home. Although these are Bang and Ofulsen branded speakers the sound is mostly devoid of bass - so armchair audiophiles aren’t going to be pleased.
The Ryzen 7 seems capable of handling the gamut of web pages and office tools. We did not test this with any high end, processor intensive games - though we suspect it will have middling to ok performance.
The keyboard has limited travel but enough feedback for extensive writing. The size of the keyboard is ok for medium sized hands but could be fatiguing for those with very large hands.
The device like other 2 in 1s in HP’s 360 line can be put into tent and tablet modes which is nice, but my wife seems to keep it in regular laptop mode all the time in order to quickly access the keyboard even if only watching YouTube streams all day.
Despite all the good things about this midrange laptop, we have experienced some wi-fi issues which may be related more to the wi-fi chip or the combination of the wi-fi chip with our router. We have experienced dropped connections on our home network at random times. We’re still troubleshooting the issue and aren’t ready to lay the blame solely on this laptop.

The build quality of the laptop is great, good keyboard and track pad, screen is nice and rigid. Laptop is light and portable. Speakers are amazing(B and O) for such a small laptop. Graphics and performance is superb.
Cannot get over how poor the battery life is, maybe 3-4 hours average on battery save mode. HP has been no help. Wifi issues as well, keeps disconnecting from internet no matter what I try to fix. Fan is noisy and battery runs hot.

so the computer runs fine now but to get it properly set up i had to uninstall a lot of bloat ware. fan runs a little loud but can be turned down through hp command center doing this will make the computer run at a lower clock speed but its still pretty quick

After 3 years the left hinge started acting up, then the hinge came un glued (yes the hinge that holds the screen up is glued) and broke the screen. The hinge literally came through the screen. It was rarely used and well cared for. At this price point i expect a better made product. Not only was it poorly constructed they did not even bother to update firmware to allow win 11 even though it has a tmp 2.1 module.
I have laptops in the family that are far older and way cheaper that can outperform and did not fall apart.

The laptop overall is rather good in terms of build quality and performance. The Ryzen 7 2700u paired with the Vega 10 holds up pretty well for just general usage and light gaming. The battery is decent if all the settings are aimed towards having a better battery life. With my first purchase, i had to exchange it because there were dead pixels on the LCD display and with the exchanged model, the speakers have been rather iffy, producing static sounds, but seems to be holding up for now only doing it every so often. Battery life could be improved as it dies rather quickly. As mentioned, overall the device is good in terms of performance for everyday light usage so it's a considerable option if you are looking for a 13in laptop to use.

Pros...The design feels solid with its aluminum body but still lightweight, typing with the keyboard feels great no mushy feeling, Price, fast boot with my SSD hard drive and HP have great customer service.
Cons..1080p screen is on a neutral color, upgrading the inside components is a little hard as you have to take out the rubber line before removing the screw. No Pen included.
Overall...I highly recommend this laptop if you are on a budget but you get more out of your money with this one

This laptop is great for college and light weight and convinent to carry to classes. It does everything I need it to plus more. The touch screen sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t which gets annoying. I’ve only had it about month so I know I haven’t damaged the touch screen. The battery life drains fast if it’s in constant use.

We like the laptop, I use it for my five year old son, it’s touch screen, so it adds to the fun, so when my son would rather use the touch screen for certain games or school activities. It’s also a fast computer.

I purchased it in a clearance price. The in store price was even $80 less than the in store price. There was some issue of Wi-Fi dropping, however it went away once you updated the drivers from HP website. I love this laptop design, light weight and well built. I'll recommend it to my friends for sure.

I bought HP x360 ryzen 7 few months ago and I have been enjoying it.
This laptop is really fast for almost every tasks. Dont expect that it can perform games as truly gaming machine because it's not designed for. One downside for this laptop is glaring screen under the sun. Other than that, with a thin, compact and lightweight laptop that can does videos editing is fantastic.

I Purchased this laptop in the summer and during the set up process, the BIOS froze on the update so the computer stopped working. Best Buy switched it out for a second computer! which has been working very well. My only problem is when there”s a BIOS Update, the system struggles to process it. I also have a fan on the one side runs extremely loudly since the last bios update

So far it's been an ok laptop after 2 months of use. I do worry that something is about to go wrong as the fan has gotten very loud where it used to be quiet. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. Would I buy again? Debatable. So far, I don't see anything that stands out from any other laptop so I might would save some money and get one that wasn't quite as expensive.

-Laptop is unable to maintain an internet connection for any length of time.
-Trashy HP bloatware fails to update it's own BIOS
-hp support site fails at downloading/installing drivers (freezes at 95% download and then computer crashes after advising there was an issue).
*I had even tried hooking up my USB WiFi adapter from my PC to ensure there was a stable internet connection. No dice. I dont care enough to try using a flashdrive to update. Will be returning.

It is advertised with an HDMI port, but IT DOES NOT HAVE AN HDMI PORT. Otherwise it seems to be a decent 2-in-1. It can run some online games, but nothing too serious. It is very responsive and feels good to type on (with the physical keyboard, not the on screen one.) It is a very sleek design with very high quality speakers and screen.
