Nice looking laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer feels very sturdy. It looks amazing. Gets the job done, mostly use it for desktop work and occassionally for Nextflix and Prime, it works fine. The internals are not state of the art, but they will work just fine for at least 4 or 5 years. I think we all can agree that that is a good thing for the time being. My piece of advise, spend the extra dollars and get the 16GB version with the AMD processors.

Maybe should have looked some more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop without really looking at models avail;able for what I wanted - I actually told the Best Buy rep I wanted something smaller and lighter than my old device, as well as just basic features for mostly using Internet and writing - he showed me this and one other model - this is OK, but the keyboard is heard to see in bad lighting and it seems to "stick" (can't keep up with my typing it feels like)

College Student Worries
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this laptop for about 2 weeks now and I just noticed that the fan can be really loud? I'm not even running multiple tasks, only chrome and Microsoft applications. This laptop does turn hot very quickly (again I'm only using two windows at once). This laptop is great for college. I use it in tablet mode and as a regular laptop and can get about 8-9 hours with one single charge. If I put it in sleep mode it could go through the whole week, but leave me with maybe 5 hours when I next open my laptop. I'm thinking of returning this laptop because of how loud the fan gets and how hot the bottom of the laptop gets. But I'm not entirely sure why it gets like that. *I'm no tech expert* If anyone can help me figure this out, please feel free to comment.

Great Computer for the Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good computer for the price. When I bought the laptop, there was a big discount because the Radeon processor is being replaced. It is still a good processor though the computer runs a bit hot. As with all HPs, there is a ton of extra software provided by HP that needs to be updated regularly or deleted, but I've had no problems.

Great laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this laptop. It functions great, has decent battery life, and is very well built -- solid materials and not cheap feeling. Very sleek looking. Loving the touch screen and ability to fold screen back to use it as a tablet. I would definitely recommend. Only cons to me are that there are not many ports to plug in to. It baffles me that there is no ethernet port in particular. I had to buy an adapter for this, and another to run the HDMI display out to VGA. After plugging in wireless mouse USB reciever there is only one regular USB port left. I used the USB-C for ethernet. Sometimes the cooling fan kicks in and is surprisingly loud, but not enough to bother me. Still a great laptop though, if you don't need many ports or are willing to use adapters.
