I bought this laptop to replace an aging Sony laptop that I loved. However this HP is light weight, fast and is a good all around computer.

My wife needs something fast that can multi task without any issues and has good battery life if you are in the market for that in more buy this.

I bought this laptop to replace an older desktop. It outperforms my previous machine which is to be expected with improvements in tech. I particularly like the touch screen which I thought I wouldn't like at all. And I like being able to connect my wireless keyboard when dealing with large text documents. A flat keyboard is fine for normal use but you need some raised keys for hours of typing. I thought i would miss the CD drive but an external one solved that issue neatly. Very pleased with this purchase.

So far, after one week I love it. But, on my first use I witnessed just how hot it can get. I have a certified like new open box version of this computer. It works perfect, metallic finish is great. Visually its fantastic. Multitasking is great. My only issue is the heat. Its got plenty of power but it is a laptop so it doesn't have enough cooling power. 8gb ram is good but could use another 4gb stick. And video memory is low at 1gb.

This is an awesome computer at a great price! I used to own a Mac but decided to switch to an HP since it was running extremely slow and was having a lot of problems. My new HP is light, fast, and reliable. The Best Buy associate that helped me was awesome and didn’t pressure me into making a decision (Unlike the associate at Office Depot). I decided to sign up with Best Buy credit card through Citibank and it worked out great! I am very pleased with my purchase!

Very pleased with this laptop. My only complaint is that it could of used 2 more USB ports. Other then that I've been happy with performance and the ability to fold flat and use as a tablet of the reasons I chose this laptop. I always by AMD processor powered computers/Laptops.

The last time I purchased a laptop was in 2012. It was time for an upgrade and I wanted something that I could possibly use to edit video in the future. I spent a couple of months reviewing different models and manufactures. Stopped in my local Best Buy so that I could actually see some of the models that I had researched. I saw the HP ENVY in Dark Ash and KNEW that I had to have it. It just so happens that the ENVY in Dark Ash didn't have the intel processor (at least at my location) but had the AMD Ryzen. After discussing the differences with the Computer Specialist in the store, I decided that the ENVY was just what I needed. I've had it for about three weeks now and have enjoyed discovering all that it can do.

This laptop works great. No issues. Would of like a 4k screen, but other than that its perfect. The Vega Gpu is better then any Intel gpu. Honestly Hp out did themselves on this one. The main reason I bought it was because of the Ryzen Cpu and Vega Gpu.

I was looking for a laptop that I could take to my classes with me and other instances where I could not use my personal desktop and I ended up using it more than my desktop. This is a great laptop for anyone who needs a good amount of power and speed. Even a year later, I am still able to run Adobe Photoshop and Premiere at the same time with little - to no start up time at all and basically runs like it is brand new. The storage is a little bit on the lower end but I use cloud services mostly for data storage, so as long are you are familiar with how to use those applications storage will not be an issue. The keyboard is more on the thinner side so if you like more of a mechanical feel to your keyboards this laptop is going to be a little harder to get used to. Overall this laptop is a good mid to high end laptop and I am very happy with my purchase a year later.

The only thing I can complain about is that it needs more RAM for my usage. I use it as a mobile development machine, and IDEs quick suck up 8GB of RAM. It's not a big deal, but it doesn't have an Ethernet port. Otherwise, it's fast, has a good screen, didn't come with too much bloatware, and it keeps itself rather cool.

The laptop is pretty fast and plays games decently (I don't play really demanding games so you may want to check out the specs and see if this will work for you). It just can get a little loud with the fan sometimes, and glitchy here and there but overall I'm happy with it.

I love how sleek and stylish this computer is. Not only can it run multiple programs at once like photo editing software and watching netflix at the same time it also have very loud speakers. Its screen is also a really good size. Its not too small or two big and it the tablet feature is also very nice.

I like the computer but I wish it had more memory. I have to use a 1tb flash drive to store my data on. I use this computer for DJ and karaoke show so I like that it’s fast. Nothing worse than having your computer crash I the middle of a wedding dance.
