I would recommend this laptop to anyone who needs a computer to work with everything daily ... it is powerful, has an amazing picture, is easy to you, and it can be used as a desktop or laptop. I am very pleased with the purchase & I'd totally purchase another!

Had an older, 8 year old HP that had just exhausted its time. Based on recommendations we chose to go with this one. Great for basic computer use and people who are not techies. Looking forward o being able to take on vacation with us due to its size and portability.

I wasn't planning to do much with my new computer other than use a few Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel), upload pictures from my camera and phone, and surf the internet, and this model was recommended to me. I had an issue with the speaker not working at first, but went through troubleshooting and reset it, and the speaker started working again. The speed of this is slightly slower than I would like for it to be at times, I feel like the intel core processor might be faster than this one, although it will cost you significantly more. I also absolutely hate the constant updates this computer seems to have. It's rather annoying for there to be some sort of update I need to install for something every week or two. This is my main reasoning for the 4 stars. Otherwise, it seems to be a good laptop with great resolution.

Although I was hesitant to buy an AMD after my experience with the Athalon, I am glad I took the advice of the guys at Best Buy because the AMD Ryzen 7 is great. This is a fast laptop that I use for both home, office and gaming. HP got it right with this one.

Great computer for the price. Looking for a laptop for my son as he returned to school. This laptop is fast boots up quickly and can run online games during the “Non-Study” hours. Have had the unit for a few weeks now and everything is working smoothly.

This HP Envy is great. I needed something for word processing, (old school, huh?) And chose this model knowing it was more than I needed. With all the features, tablet mode, Cortana, Edge, and so much processing power I am discovering new functions and projects to do because this laptop can handle it. Only rarely does the processing lag, I've only experienced it after rendering 3D images and trying to shift, twist, and move too quickly. It is not a bother at all though. I'm so pleased with this purchase. It made some techies in my family jealous.

Would give 5 stars but I had to return the first one after one day because the motherboard and hard drive crashed before we could even sign into windows. Best Buy was very helpful and got us a replacement with no hassle.

I purchased this for my daughter - since she is going into 6th grade, I wanted her to have a good laptop. While it was very easy to setup and is extremely fast, there are two gel lined pads underneath the laptop that help it with grip on slipper surfaces. They run the entire length of the laptop. Within a few days, they started to 'peel' off and within 3 weeks, both had completely fallen off altogether. I returned it for a new laptop - I got the same one, so we'll see how this one goes.

Computer set up easy. Computer is FAST. Nothing to dislike. Love it has AMD CPU and graphics Chips. AMD makes as good or better chips than anyone. AMD is best value for the money!

I purchased this computer for Grad school and I must preface this with 1) I am not a computer whiz and 2) My previous laptop computer was a Mac. After reading some reviews and speaking with a few associates at Best Buy I selected a computer, however the one I thought I selected they didn’t have it in stock so it had to be mailed to me which arrived promptly. I thought I ordered the lower model of this product as I didn’t have a need for the ultra awesome sound and slower processor as this one apparently has. They had their signage mixed up and I wondered why it rung up more than the tag price I saw. But that is my mistake for not saying anything. Again, I am not a computer expert and I am completely unfamiliar with windows operating systems as I’ve had a Mac for over 12 years. I had a rude awakening when I found out that you have to purchase Microsoft office separately. So that was an additional cost I wasn’t initially aware of and the major negative I have with this purchase. Ignorance aside, as a 2-in-1 laptop its very nice. It’s fast enough to allow me to have multiple screens up of research and multiple open tabs with only minor speed reductions that I’ve noticed. I have not put the sound system to test personally and for me it is superfluous however, my friend whose used it says that it’s a great clear quality. There was a significant learning curve to go from Mac to this HP but thanks to YouTube I’ve managed to get the basics which is all I really needed; so this particular laptop is overkill for me. My major negatives regarding this is despite the ease for handwriting to text and some of the other useful features it that the touch screen and tablet features boast about is that the screen is exceptionally responsive and it you have a tendency put your palm or hand on the screen it makes the touch ability go a little wonky. The bamboo ink stylus is a great addition to this laptop and makes using some of the features and functions far easier. I would certainly suggest getting it as an addition to this laptop. Overall it is a great computer, a little touchy with a few features and personally it’s overkill to the max if you’re looking for a 2-in-1 like I was primarily for school work. Most of the features I most likely will not use on a regular basis but I suppose having those bells and whistles may be useful at some point. Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth the money for my purpose and I am now mildly upset that the associates lead me to this and ultimately ordered the wrong devise for me. That being said by the time I realized it and tried to figure out how to work this product, it was too late to return it so I’ll live and hopefully it will continue to work for 10 years like my Mac laptop did.

Moderately priced and with plenty of “oomph” for college undergrad use. Easy/fast to set up and get going. Had an HP laptop previously and it was very reliable, so assuming this one will be as well.

I bought this for college work and it’s so easy to setup and get started. The sound and graphics are a lot better than I expected. Definitely recommend this for someone looking for a daily use laptop.

My old computer hard drive crashed causing me to by a new computer. The sales agent introduce me to the HP Envy, I love this computer ita super fast and its ability to flip into a tablet is amazing.

Bought this during a promotional sale. Love the color and the laptop itself. It is super fast and sleek! I've become a fan of HP products again, they outdid themselves with this product!

Great laptop in terms of value and performance. Superfast even with multiple applications running at the same time, does not heat up like my intel i7. AMD has definitely reinvented themselves.

I recently bought this laptop for school and work. I love it! It’s very fast, very easy and functional. I love that if you want to write notes you can fold it and it turns into a notepad.

All is great --- only negative is the weight. Battery could be better too. But this is true of most laptops; especially if you want a lot of videos like me.

It works great for school purposes and also as a entertainment platform. I've used it for movies and graphics. Downloaded a few app on it to work for photoshop and it response well.

Bought this for my wife so she could take notes for her church session meetings. She loves it, and refuses to allow me to "improve" it. (I'd add more disk).

This is a great laptop! I was nervous about changing to a device without the standard “old school” hard drive but this working out great. I love this touch screen too!
