I have used Epson printers and Epson ink for a long time. Though I have had some problems with their printers, I believe Epson's ink might be the best. I have photos I've printed for several years and none has faded yet. My only complaint is the cost of the ink, which is not uncommon from any brand. Not sure what it would cost a gallon, but it would be a lot.

Product, of course, does what it is supposed to and meets all the requirements of the printer. The only negative here was that it took too long to get the product delivered.

I tried aftermarket ink once, and it was a disaster. Leaking cartridges, clogged nozzles, and terrible print quality. Never again. Now that we have two Epson multi-function inkjets, I only buy the real thing. They work great, and they're not too pricey.

I've purchased re-manufactured/refilled inkjet carts in the past. Hit and miss with mostly misses. I will only purchase inkjet replacements from original company - in this case Epson. As far as regular or XL capacity, depends on the bundle and/or price.
