The 252XL is a high quality ink product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually purchase the 252XL (black cartridge) because not only is it Epson's own product for my Epson printer but because it insures greater performance without nozzle clogging which may occur by buying refilled ink. The 252XL lasts longer without changing cartridges in the middle of printing but I do not believe there is any real cost savings over the standard size cartridge per print.

Drops per page cost to laser range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There really isn't too much to say about an OEM ink cartridge, just having a high capacity one available is the biggest thing. With this cartridge the cost per page for B&W test printing drops down into the sub 5 cents per page range you expect from lasers but seldom actually see from ink jet printers. Cheap enough that mystery ink refills from unknown vendors can be avoided without sucking your wallet dry. Other than that, what's to say? It's black ink in a cartridge that fits the printers it's made for...
