The printer -Epson-uses the black ink the most, likely cause I choose B&W mostly, so this replacement black cartridge was needed and it works great, as expected!

I get about 40-50 B&W pages before having to replace. Mostly print receipt from online purchases and the like. Simple to replace, never have tried a knock off brand, happy w epson

Install easilly enough. Like all inkjet printers, has a tendency to dry out when not used frequently.

I choose it whenever I need ink for my printer because the quality is reflected in the copies, my favorite Epson 288 Cartridge !!!

That prints in black and doesn't smear. Not sure how long the cartridge lasts, but I don't use the printer much so it doesn't matter anyways.

Good price easy to find in store and to install. Never have a problem with ink being out of stock or any other office item I might need. Helpful sales people too.

I purchased this ink for my daughter's Epson printer that she uses in her dorm room in college. She loves this ink because it always creates great pictures and graphics that she needs for her classes.

It's quality ink that works exactly as expected. Documents are printed sharp. Graphics look great. Photos come out looking good too.

Ink is ink is ink? Or is it. Well, it is. So long as you get the proper type for your printer. This ink is very cost effective and has had great longevity for me.

Great quality Ink. A little pricey. But I was in a jam. So I purchased it. I usually purchase no name brands that work equally as well.

We purchase and extra black cartridge for a spare if needed. The Epson product is excellent. We have upgraded to the XL size to save a little money

I was informed at the time of purchasing the Epson printer that each of the 4 cartridges could be purchased separately, but that all 4 of them must be in the printer with ink in them or the printer won't print. Being able to replace the cartridges just as you need them is a great feature, but I'm disappointed that Epson does not offer an individual Black XL cartridge. Apparently, this is only available if you purchase the big replacement with all four colors in it. That's really not kosher for someone like me that uses the black ink about 95% of the time, plus that large package is about $60 +, and I would seldom need the 3 colors other than black.
