The four ink package 50 dollar, the black 20 dollars. Thus, they give away the printer for us to buy the ink. given the life of the machine is about 3 years. and I use 70 dollars worth of ink in about 6 months. The total cost of printing is 75+(6 times 70) equals 495 dollars for 3 years. per year cost is 495 /3 or 165 dollars a year...not bad to have a reasonable quality printer at my beck and call. And it works!
