Got my first Epson ET 2720 printer at the end of May 2020. There was a hardware failure where the machine wouldn't pick up paper from the feed end and would not print. Epson sent me a replacement printer as the original quit working just under the year warranty (awesome!), but less than a year after I got the replacement, I am facing another hardware failure saying that there is paper stuck somewhere in the machine (there was not- I took the printer apart myself and there wasn't any paper or ANYTHING stuck inside the machine that I could find - after Epson advised that the printer no longer qualified for warranty service). I was initially super excited to get this printer as Epson was the brand to buy back in the day when you wanted to produce quality prints, and after some comparison shopping, the eco tank option was the most economical by far of the available printers when I got mine back in 2020 (I'd had grands plans of being a heavy printer- from notes for work to photos to stickers and waterslide decals for crafting projects, but alas, my job got in the way of my lofty crafting dreams and I didn't end up printing any great amount with this machine ultimately)... With both machines, I ended up having print quality issues (banding in any color images) and had to deep clean the nozzles what seemed rather frequently, consuming more-than-average ink. I paid $199 plus tax back in 2020, and I feel that this printer fell way short of my expectations both financially and in overall expected quality. Long and short of my overall opinion of this printer (or any of the Epson Eco Tanks) is that unless Epson has made considerable changes to the hardware to fix the paper feed failures and the ink nozzles needing cleaned frequently, look at other brands available. The cost of their machines just doesn't seem worth it for less than a year's use.

I am very happy with the printer overall. I would give it 5 stars if the scanner was faster.

Hated using cartridges. This was what I was looking for with all of the features I wanted.
