i have mixed feelings about this printer. i've had it a few months. the print quality is not great, but to be fair, i need to make a phone call for support and just haven't taken the time to do so yet. i like the way you load ink and it seems to be last a good bit of time but as i said, the print quality is not great, it's not even average. hopefully they can help me correct this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Years later, and this printer was a great purchase. I’ve been able to print photos important documents with ease. Aside from some minor issues getting it set up with my network. I have no complaints.

Apparently I am not the only person who has WiFi connectivity issues with this printer. I have gone through the operating manual, thru Epson support (a few times), and independent printer support for the many drop outs from my wireless network. Each time seems to have different instructions. I can see that this model has some special vulnerabilities in the WiFi connection department. It’s ALMOST a great printer.

The Epson ET2800 printer works very well and was easy to set up and install. Best of all it uses the refill bottles to get away from expensive cartridges.

I use the printer a lot, and have had no problems. I like how I have not had to fill the ink yet since I bought it a few weeks ago. I'm happy that I bought it directly from Best Buy. They treated my package with care, and it arrived promptly.

This is my second Epson ET2800. Why? I have one filled with sublimation ink and this new one will be filled with pigment ink. Priced right for a DIY crafter. I use the sublimation ink to create t-shirts, doggy bandanas, so much more. I will be using the pigment printer for direct transfer designs onto cotton fabric and dark colors where sublimation doesn’t really work that well. The pigment filled printer will be used for water resistant stickers and decals. Dye based inks fade after washing the item or getting it wet. This is why I’m getting a second Epson ET 2800
