I bought this to replace an Epson XP-860 that I'd had for a number of years and that was on it's last leg. This printer is everything that printer was and more. One (good) difference is that this printer has a flat top, so I can place lightweight things on it. By comparison, the XP-860 had a slanting top. Though it doesn't officially say that it supports the upcoming Mac OS Catalina, I'm confident that it will (as my XP-860 has supported several generations of Mac OS that it didn't "officially" support at the time I purchased it (simply because those generation of Mac OS that I refer to didn't then exist). Print and scanner resolution is the same as my old XP-860. Being able to actually see the levels of ink in each cartridge (rather than just relying on the OS's "approximate" ink levels gotten through system preferences, is a really good thing. Also, the way you fill the ink tanks (with Epson's new, redesigned ink bottles) is a superb idea--the new ink doesn't drip all over the place when you refill the ink tanks with Epson's new ink bottles. The touch screen on this printer is smaller than the one on the XP-860, but it works just as well.

After purchasing an HP that had bad software this Epson is wonderful, However as a 73 year old with old eyes the itty bitty screen on the front of the machine is incredibly hard to read. But it works which is good,

It's been working fine, but when I try to disperse the ink for making color copies, I get NADA, Zip Zero color. I ran the maintenance on it, still no color. :(

Bought it for my home office. Prints quickly. I find it to be an economical choice. I will say I set it up manually (not through the app) just followed some guy on YouTube so as not to confuse myself. Works great.

This wireless printer is the BOMB! Because of the precise instructions setup was a breeze, including filling the ink tanks, and charging them. The ink tanks are large, easy to fill, and you get enough ink to print thousands of copies. My old printer used ink cartridges which were a pain to get filled, and expensive. This printer is so much more economical in that aspect. Printing is super quick, the quality is superb, and it prints quietly. The scanner scans crisp and clear copies. And it has the wow feature of voice activated printing. The printer has a color touch screen that makes changing settings, printing, scanning, copying etc a breeze. Another outstanding feature is that the printer has its own email. This allows you to send emails with supported file formats from anywhere in the world to the printers email and it will print. It also has the capabilities of faxing, which I have not experienced yet but will soon. You can print from any of your devices (smartphone, tablet, laptop) which is extremely convenient. I am really enjoying using this printer and would highly recommend it, it is such a positive asset to our home

Nice little product. Color inks dry out quickly if seldom used so best for those who use color regularly. Easy to refill or replace but a disappointing waste of unused dry ink bottles.

The switch from cartridge to eco-tank was near seamless thanks to the bountiful amount of ink that comes with this easy to use printer, although some of it IS lost to the setup process. 9/10 would recommend.

Seems to be a great value for the money. Looking forward to being able to buy ink in a bottle instead of expensive cartridges.

I was moving right along with set-up, hit a snag, contacted geek squad and they took me the final way. The ink distribution system is really hip. Printing double sided is still a challenge which I overcome with a bit of patience. I love the paper feeder, I can see the last page go in.
