If you have a young kid you’ll appreciate the fact that their tendency to push print 800 times when they don’t get an immediate printer result will not require you making a mad dash to the store late at night when the old school scrawny ink cartridge runs out in the middle of a school project. Of course the project is due the next day because they procrastinated. Not that this ever happens…
This is my second Eco-Tank. After 4 years it still had ink but took an unfortunate fall down the stairs when being moved. If intact I’m sure that little booger would still be churning out pages to this very day without a refill.

This is the second time I purchased the same model printer. The idea sounds great and I love Shack, but they just do not work well. Both of them lost ability to print in color, black-and-white still works and ink does last a long time, unfortunately, my experience twice has been subpar

I use this to print full color flyers and full page PDFs of text on a weekly basis. I’ve had the printer for over a year, and still haven’t bought any extra ink! Having the refillable ink tanks saves so much money in the long run.

Works a bit slower than the HP one I had previously, but the ink cost 1/4 the price and I don't have to buy the HP certified cartridges anymore. Great purchase so far!

I refuse to go back to cartridge based printers. ever. by the time you replace ink cartridge a few times in the other style you would have paid for this.

First of all, it comes with full ink cartridges. The setup is quick an easy and every works flawlessly. The logic is very intuitive and should offer not challenges. Print quality and speed are exceptional. The Smart Scan capability is awesome an the fax function is a breeze, - just plug in a phone line. This printer has incredibly good program logic. I have read about printers having empty cartridges and can only assume the dealer may have been doing some "funny stuff". The paper bins expand for 11x17 paper. The rear feed is another option. The stack-able fax feed is flawless and is also used for multiple scans. And yes, - it scans 11x17. For $200 bucks, - this think is a real find.

I love it. I had originally purchased a hp printer. OMG. It used ink like there was no end and then signed up on the replenishment ink program was a disaster. They kept track of my printing and I thought that was an invasion of my privacy and to add insult to injury. They wanted me to pay for the remainder of the ink’s that came with the printer originally.
