    Best ever technology

The Ecotank machines are superior. It takes a massive amount of printing on plain paper to require more ink. No more cartridges and no more interruptions by 'ink out' issues with the cartridges that are still sold everywhere. I cannot think why, for a small Office, anyone would buy a stupid cartridge printer... even if the factory offer regular replacements by Post and endless charges to the Credit Card on file. Ecotank is the real choice. Forget the others unless they adopt this technology and sell ink at a competitive price. We have an old Ecotank ET 4750 that pumps out printed material every day of the Year, or nearly so.

The setup was easy on my phone buy not so much on my MACbook. The printer has ink that you pour into the machine which lasts a long time. It is a great printer for home use. The copy and print feature has a great quality picture. The machine has some plastic parts that are not that study but the size and performance has been what I need for my home use.

I am so glad I purchased this printer!! I am technologically challenged but was able to set it up and connect it to Wifi with minimal stress. The prints are crisp and clear. I can tell the ink is going to last for a LONG time, and I love that I won't have to stress over the cartridges when I need more. As someone who used to buy cheap printers and get incredibly frustrated with them- it was worth it to break the cycle with this printer. 10/10.

I'm very happy with the performance of my Epson EcoTank ET2800. It works great. My only regret is that I should have upgraded to a model that is capable of printing on both sides of a sheet of paper. I assumed this one could. My bad, but for the amount of printing I do it really doesn't matter that much. I'm happy with it.

Never going back to standard inkjet!

Bought into the ink tank fad not knowing what I was going into. I have since printed numerous pictures and documents needed and the ink only went down one notch out of 6. Insane! The amount of ink I would have wasted with a regular ink Jet would have been tremendous. It’s a steep price point at first but with what you save in inks the benefits are almost instantaneous. The Epson app made it easy to print the pictures I have on my phone wirelessly which saved me the hassle of having to open the laptop and download the picture from my cloud and then print. The app cuts the middle man (computer) out.

Super easy to set up and use. I bought this for my elderly mother and even she thought the process was fairly simple. PS - She lives in a neighborhood with older homes and they don’t have fast internet like Fios …. And even with her terrible wifi this printer is great! I love the eco tank system. Appears super easy and straightforward. Definitely recommend!!

First printer that I have ever owned where I have had no issues printing from Mac and PC on same network. Setup was easy via the iOS app. Ink feature is neat (we'll see how this pans out in the long run) but at setup, black ink went down 25%! For an inkjet does the job great. Haven't used the scanner given its 2024 and our smartphones / apps manage this.

This was a lower price purchase so you get what you pay for. For the price it serves the printing needs . The screen to setup or change settings is the size of a postage stamp. The little scree is recessed in the front so unless it’s put on a tall table you will need to get on your knees to see it! I will use it for a while longer but definitely will get a better designed printer next year.

this is a great printer that will give you the freedom to print many prints without being worried about the ink level. I am seriously shocked by the quality of the printing itself, it is superior and better than my laser printer. I used glossy papers for the drawings and the photos and it offers great printout. I recommend it to anyone.

Excellent printer, does what it is supposed to do and does it well. Yes it is on the more expensive side for a inkjet printer, however the refillable ink does change the game. No need to worry about expensive cartridges or drying out problems. The printer is not forever though, the ink pad will get pad after couple thousand prints. PROS: excellent reliable printer, refillable ink, longevity is good. CONS: expensive for a standard printer, no double sided printing with this model, or fax, kind of noisy, no ADF for scanner. Getting these features in an ecotank is $$$$

Better than my last Epson, but...

Pros: The print quality on documents is significantly better than those produced by my Epson WF-3640. Sadly, that is a low bar. The eco tank is a game changer in saving money vs the previous generation of printer's ink cartridges. The printer is relatively quiet. Cons: The set up process seems a bit cumbersome. I could see someone with either low patience or no tech background getting frustrated with it. The Ugly: I have not been able to get the scanner to work. It simply does not recognize my Linux computer via the usb hookup. It is possible this is a problem with the cable I used. Unfortunately, the printer I received did not have a USB cable, so I used my old cable from the aforementioned WF-3640. I should also mention that printer would save scanned documents to a thumb drive I had on it that would be recognized as a location by my computer, but it too never saved scanned documents directly to my computer. Sadly the ET-2800 does not have that capability as there are no USB/CF ports on the printer. As I can not scan pictures at this time, I cannot speak to print quality for pictures, but the documents have been good. Conslusion. I'm pretty sure the problems I'm having with the scan function are related to Epson machines not playing nicely with Linux, my operating system, but cannot ignore the fact that I can only operate the print function of the machine. Very disappointing. I'm also sure it will work just fine for the 98% of you out there still using the Windows or Mac OS machines. Recommend for Windows & Mac...not for Linux Ubuntu Mate

So far, I really like this printer. I would have given 5 stars, but the scanning feature isn't great. Some scanned documents are fine, but many are off center and blurry.
