This is my first Epson printer. I have always purchased HP printers, but the ink has just become too expensive. Set up was easy and adding the ink was easy and no mess. One thing I didn't realize was that there is no paper tray and that the paper is outside of the machine feeding into the back. I am looking forward to using this printer for a long time. I did purchase the 4 year warranty, which is not normal because the cost of the printer and not being certain if there are more issues with the tank/inkjet style. Very happy so far.

My old printer finally went, so I started looking for a new printer. I didn't know it was going to be such a chore. Printers have changed, you have to do some research on what printer you need, home, business, photography, high volume, low volume and so on. In my case, I just need a color printer for home use for my wife and I. She just prints emails and some articles. I print drawings, graphics and photos. After looking into some printers I definitely wanted to go with the large ink tank printer, like the rest of you I'm tired of messing around with ink cartridges. So the bottom line is I settled on the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 printer. So far it's been excellent, setup was easy but a longer process. Epson has an app you can install and it takes you through the setup step by step. I think the only thing I had to type in was the password for the network. Loading the ink was a breeze; just snap it on and it loads itself. The print quality has been very good. I have used both plain and card stock paper, everything printed well. Photos print real good, not as good as a dedicated photo printer, but know one would be able to tell the difference. I highly recommend this printer; you won't be disappointed.

Easy to set up and use Love the level viewing. Will see how fast I go through toner. Little surprised the bottle did not match the printer capacity. seems troublesome to hoold on to the bottles for the tiny amount left. Also wish it had a tray feeder and not a gravity one in the back but the quality, speed, and ease of use were great!

I am very pleased with this purchase. The price was very reasonable. The ink and paper are easy to replenish. This printer is easy to use; the screen provides a simple guide. The finished product is clear. I would recommend this printer.

Not too big, lightweight, ink much cheaper than old HP cartridges, and very simple to use. My new go-to for printing out large quantities of papers.

This thing is a beast of a printer for a really great price. I tried for the model below this (ET-2800) but it was not able to be delivered in my area for some reason but this is a great printer. Installation was easy, prints look great. As someone that sporadically prints, the EcoTank design was especially intriguing for me. No complaints

I am in love with this printer. I gad been wanting a major upgrade from the HP i was using and when it died as i loaded a new cartridge i didnt know what to do. My IT guy suggested this Epson and i trust him completely. He did not steer ne wrong. Setup was easy for all my devices. Initially setting up the printer took awhile but once it was prepped everything was super smooth. I have done a massive amount of printing inthe last week since i got it and the amount of ink used was minimal compared to the HP. Being able to visually see the ink usage and not trusting a cartridge to be program correctly has me feeling super happy. This was a great investment and i recommend it to EVERYONE especially students, or homes with people who do a lot of printing.

Being able to just refill the ink and see the ink levels makes so much “cents” and dollars. Hp cost me so much on cartridges it was ridiculous. The machine makes great copies and is easy to use.

Pays for itself on cartridge savings, prints in high quality, auto duplex and software runs through mobile app so no bloatware on your PC. Price is fair as well, overall best printer I've ever owned for home use, don't waste money on something supposedly cheaper upfront because in the long run it will cost you more than this printer.

I am very satisfied with this printer. What impressed me the most is how long the ink lasts; it really goes a long way, which is perfect for those of us who print frequently. The print quality is excellent, both for documents and photos. Additionally, it's easy to set up and use. In short, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient printer. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Works for what I needed. Setup wax not too easy though.I did not want to have wireless set or set up on my phone and I had to dig through a lot of written material and online posts to figure out how to manage the set up. The website for the ecotank did not have an update/download for this option although the packaging and written material said computer/usb option capabilities were available with this EcotankET-2850. Setup via tiny onscreen/ unit is way too small. Size is smaller than a cellphone screen although it is capable of being set up on cellphones. I am happy with the results of print and color quality for home office use. Not great for photo printing but that is stated. Nice to have tanks and I have had no problems with printer for a month. Not a very good customer support site. Easy purchase at Bestbuy. We will see how it lasts.

The printer came with good instructions, and it was a cinch to set up, including the blue tooth connection. I'm not real confident with equipment setup, so I took it slow, but my guess is that many people could set it up in 30 minutes or less. It took me a little over an hour. I'm very satisfied with the quality of printing, too, both color and B&W prints. It's not a fast printer, but it just fine for me as I print just a few pages at a time.

Infrequently used at home. Would have gotten b/w laser but needed color. Old cartridge printer, ink dried-up. Good price. Easy to set-up. Works well with heavier weight paper. Not so good with lighter paper; feels wet and needs to dry. Wish the display was larger and tilted for better view. App works ok.

Fantastic printer. It does everything I need and more at a solid price. Easy to set up and use—and I’m not a tech person at all. Compact, powerful, and reliable (so far).

This printer is ok , but is not a good value for the money except in the lower ink costs. The printer itself sets up easy enough, but malfunctions every time paper needs to be loaded and does not have an automatic feeder. The prints are clear but not of the quality I expected for a higher priced printer. It feels flimsy and the screen is very hard to understand. It used symbols instead of words , so a new user can’t figure it out . I bought it for an office and have been disappointed with the quality and value. I thought that going with a higher priced model would guarantee quantity. Turns out, it is ok and works fine, but it is not sturdy or sophisticated. It does network well and the ink tank is good to have-

I purchased this printer to replace a Cannon printer that developed mechanical issues. I wish I had switched out long before. Set up was easy, print quality is very good for the price point and photos look good with quality photo paper. I love the ink bottles vs cartridges because it is much less expensive per print and will produce more pages per refill. Site windows for quantity of ink remaining is helpful, and the ease of use makes this a top pick in my opinion. Using the printer over WiFi is easy and works consistently.

This is a wonderful printer! I have loved Epson printers with the echo tanks ever since they freed me from those awful cartridges about 5 years ago. At first I was disappointed that it didn't have the bottom loader, but realized it was perfect for really quick jobs with the top loader. And the quality is excellent. I do a lot of graphics work and the output is great. Also, I run a Mac and use a scanner a lot. The software is excellent, easy to use, great results, really good quality scans. I see no downsides to buying this one if you want a nice, affordable all-in-one. I am very happy with my purchase.

This printer has been amazing so far! It was very easy to set up with my MacBook and I have had zero issues moving forward! I can also print from my phone as well. The ink has been lasting forever and is extremely easy to load into the cartridges! I highly recommend.
