    Never again. Used Canon for years. No problems. I did a class for Epson to support them but after 4 clogged in a row. The Canon is printing Great with Little print head cleaning. If I purchased another Epson 2800 series it would already be clogged. Did same regular Maintenance on Canon and NO print clog,, still going strong. Back to Canon period for life. I didn't believe it. I gave Mom my old Canon to use for just copying. Over 10 years pass Canon with a cartridge printer actually printed after sitting for years. I have 3 Epson with cleaning kit for sale. Buy the MegaTank Canon printer. And top off the ink tanks often this gets some fresh ink on the mix and helps to avoid clogs.

    This Epson ET-2850 printed fine for the first day, perhaps 6 sheets of paper. It then sent an error message saying there was a paper jam and would not print. I spent hours on the phone with Epson sending pictures of simple things to prove I had properly cleared the path. Finally they agreed they would send me another printer (after I gave them a $200+ Credit card deposit) and I would have it in a week to 10 days and I would then have to ship the defective printer back. I told them to forget it. I took the printer back to Best Buy where they were very quick to take the defective printer back. The Epson contact was very pleasant and professional. I did have a real problem understanding her much of thew time and she did not seem very technical. I believe she was just reading a script. I was frustrated. I then bought a similar HP printer from Best Buy for about $100 less. I;m so glad I did not buy the epson directly from the Epson website.

    I have had to buy 2 of these printers so far, the first one lasted about a month, then the printouts started coming out without the proper colors. I ran all of the print tests and head cleaning routines numerous times. Noting helped. I bought a ink line cleaning kits and purged all ink lines, this didn't help either, so I bought another of the same exact model. I printed daily with it, both color and black and white. After about a month, it started having problems also. No amount of head cleaning has help. I would NOT buy this printer again.
