My old printer finally went, so I started looking for a new printer. I didn't know it was going to be such a chore. Printers have changed, you have to do some research on what printer you need, home, business, photography, high volume, low volume and so on. In my case, I just need a color printer for home use for my wife and I. She just prints emails and some articles. I print drawings, graphics and photos. After looking into some printers I definitely wanted to go with the large ink tank printer, like the rest of you I'm tired of messing around with ink cartridges. So the bottom line is I settled on the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 printer. So far it's been excellent, setup was easy but a longer process. Epson has an app you can install and it takes you through the setup step by step. I think the only thing I had to type in was the password for the network. Loading the ink was a breeze; just snap it on and it loads itself. The print quality has been very good. I have used both plain and card stock paper, everything printed well. Photos print real good, not as good as a dedicated photo printer, but know one would be able to tell the difference. I highly recommend this printer; you won't be disappointed.

This is my first Epson printer. I have always purchased HP printers, but the ink has just become too expensive. Set up was easy and adding the ink was easy and no mess. One thing I didn't realize was that there is no paper tray and that the paper is outside of the machine feeding into the back. I am looking forward to using this printer for a long time. I did purchase the 4 year warranty, which is not normal because the cost of the printer and not being certain if there are more issues with the tank/inkjet style. Very happy so far.

Best printer for the overall home and office usage, I've printed about 50 pages and the ink level literally has been the same, I bought this printer just around a few days ago from today (May 25th 2023) and it is probably the most solid, my old HP Officejet Pro 8035e broke within 1 week of using it because of a "printhead" blockage and things, that old thing was crap as heck, every plastic thing felt cheap and wobbly, but not this et-2850, it is solid as can be! I guess the saying of Japanese-Asian brandings being reliable and durable is true.

Easy to set up and use Love the level viewing. Will see how fast I go through toner. Little surprised the bottle did not match the printer capacity. seems troublesome to hoold on to the bottles for the tiny amount left. Also wish it had a tray feeder and not a gravity one in the back but the quality, speed, and ease of use were great!

This is one of the best Printers I have gotten works beautifully and prints amazing flyers for my company. People always ask me where I do my flyers at. Super great buy! Love Best Buy Products and the customer service was amazing and very well informed about my product before even purchasing!

I am very pleased with this purchase. The price was very reasonable. The ink and paper are easy to replenish. This printer is easy to use; the screen provides a simple guide. The finished product is clear. I would recommend this printer.

This printer works amazing. The ink barely moves and we have printed a ton of stuff color and black! The wireless works great as well!!

The Epson EcoTank ET-2850 has been a game changer for me. The ink tanks are easy to refill and last a long time — no more constantly buying expensive cartridges. This is the best printer I've ever bought. The quality of printing is outstanding. But the best benefit is the ink. The amount of printing I get from the amount of ink in the tank is so so so much better than any other printer I've had. Great printer.

This is a good printer at a good price. Easy to use. Not for high resolution printing but great for every day. Ink is less expensive than others.

Not too big, lightweight, ink much cheaper than old HP cartridges, and very simple to use. My new go-to for printing out large quantities of papers.

I have been saving tons on ink, which is great, but I miss my WorkForce printer. The ET2850 is great for an in-home printer, but if you are in need of a printer that runs daily, not stopping, I would get something larger.

This thing is a beast of a printer for a really great price. I tried for the model below this (ET-2800) but it was not able to be delivered in my area for some reason but this is a great printer. Installation was easy, prints look great. As someone that sporadically prints, the EcoTank design was especially intriguing for me. No complaints

I am in love with this printer. I gad been wanting a major upgrade from the HP i was using and when it died as i loaded a new cartridge i didnt know what to do. My IT guy suggested this Epson and i trust him completely. He did not steer ne wrong. Setup was easy for all my devices. Initially setting up the printer took awhile but once it was prepped everything was super smooth. I have done a massive amount of printing inthe last week since i got it and the amount of ink used was minimal compared to the HP. Being able to visually see the ink usage and not trusting a cartridge to be program correctly has me feeling super happy. This was a great investment and i recommend it to EVERYONE especially students, or homes with people who do a lot of printing.

Easy set-up and convenient to use. Easy installation, I like the tank ink. Saved on ink.

Seems to be working fine but very noisy. I try not to print anything when my SO is in a meeting. Compact design; downloaded (and printed) the ENORMOUS user’s manual. Will never read it in its entirety, just when I need to know something specific, though when I did try to get some information I felt the manual had a lot of “tech speak,” much of which I didn’t understand. Glad not to be dealing with ink cartridges any longer. Best Buy techs who installed were nice and respected my home by putting on blue “contractor booties” before entering. Satisfied, but not over the moon.

After many years of fighting with my HP printer I bought this one on Black Friday. My initial reaction after setting it up is that I should have spent the extra $100 to get the next one up. The print quality is crisp, but not as vibrant (as described by someone above) and it is noisy when printing. Also, the paper feed from the back prevents it from storing in the printer drawer of my desk. This is something I did not notice as being a possible issue at the store. Overall the unit jut feels cheaply made and I am not sure how long it will last.

Pays for itself on cartridge savings, prints in high quality, auto duplex and software runs through mobile app so no bloatware on your PC. Price is fair as well, overall best printer I've ever owned for home use, don't waste money on something supposedly cheaper upfront because in the long run it will cost you more than this printer.

I had an Epson EcoTank that finally gave in to time, and replaced it with the ET-2850. I've been nothing short of pleased with it. I wasn't even expecting to get the automatic double-sided printing. I figured that was the same as the other Epson where I had to manually turn the pages over after the first side had printed. I've had it a little over a month now and it gives great color, no paper jams, easy set-up, perfect scans and copies. No problems whatsoever! Did I mention I've printed nearly a ream of mostly double-sided pages and can barely tell it's used any ink! Couldn't be happier with it. FYI, if you have a small business, you may want a model that is a little faster, depending on your printing needs. But for home use, you can't beat this one for the features and convenience.

I am very satisfied with this printer. What impressed me the most is how long the ink lasts; it really goes a long way, which is perfect for those of us who print frequently. The print quality is excellent, both for documents and photos. Additionally, it's easy to set up and use. In short, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient printer. I'm very happy with my purchase.
