    Our last printer that we had for over twenty years was an HP DeskJet. It worked like a dream. It printed out good looking documents at lightning speed. Needless to say, a printer that old did not have wireless connectivity, but we bought something to hook it up to our wireless network. Of course, with an ink cartridge printer you do pay through the nose over all those years for the cartridges, but I would gladly pay that again if we hadn't dished out so much money for this Epson printer. As I said, the HP printer reliably worked for years, and we only had to replace it because we bought a new computer and couldn't find a printer driver for it. I literally hate this Epson printer. It is unbearably SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. It is slow to start printing, it is slow to continue printing, it is slow to finish printing. Did I mention that it is slow? It is nice that we can make photocopies on it and that we save money on ink. However, we don't use the printer that often, and I would gladly pay the extra money for ink cartridges if I didn't have to sit around waiting for this expletive printer to get around to spitting out the pages. If I used foul language, I would use it about this printer. I hate that we paid so much money for it. I have used Consumer Reports for over 30 years, but they really let me down in recommending this printer.
