    I bought an Epson 3830 in Sacramento (75 miles) thinking it has ADF. It doesn't. I called to see if Reno (40miles) could order it and do a swap there. They said I would have to buy it now and they would give me a refund for the 3830 when I bring it in.. Why can't they order it and hold it and just swap and settle the difference then? Very compicated and not user friendly.

    Bought the ET-3830 for my genealogy project but it printed just terribly. Geek Squad came to set it up and the agent stayed and tried to help me and troubleshoot which is not the agent's job. I really appreciated his effort to try and help me. We tried printing old (Sepia) photos and new color family photos and they were all washed out, blurry and just ugly. We tweeked all kinds of settings, but they came out so faded and unrecognizable. Couldn't make out the faces at all. They looked like a photo that had been left out in the rain for days. Tried different paper too. Glossy photo paper came out the worse, but the back of the glossy photo paper that looks and feels like thin cardboard came out the best, but still terrible. I also tried to print Word documents I created that contained photos, maps and documents in them. They printed very bad and faded too. I returned it and took in what it printed to show the agent my problem. The store supervisor agreed and suggested I try a Cannon printer.

    I am not happy at all with this printer. The screen is so small and the help is on line that I cannot decipher. A Geek Squad installed this printer which worked when he was here, but I frequently get a message that system cannot find connection. Sometimes it will print after I have shut it down at night and restart the next morning. It prints that page from the night before and then will not print anything else the next morning.
