Don't second guess, just buy - it's worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my experience, there are certain items that are worth paying a premium for. A good printer is one of them. My previous printer had been a entry price point printer from Canon. I have nothing bad to say about the brand, but you get what you pay for. I had continuous problems maintaining a WiFi connection, and the experience was poor overall. Over the lifetime of the printer, I spent way more on cartridges than the printer itself. I was just waiting for the thing to die, so I could buy a proper printer. After buying this Epson, the immediate out of the box experience was so much better, and the build quality difference was obvious. Set up takes a bit of time to get the ink tanks all filled, but the whole process is guided by an app or the display on the printer. Getting the printer on the WiFi was very easy, and all of my families' computers recognized it instantly with no lengthy setup per computer. So far, I am so much happier with this choice than a bottom end printer. Again, I have had three or four printers from Canon, so that was my first preference, but my mind was made up that I was done with buying expensive printer cartridges. When shopping for an ink tank printer, I did my research, and there is none better than the Epson. That is probably why Best Buy's offerings seen to guide customers that direction. So, the choice was clear on brand, and the only thing left was to decide which price point. Front paper tray? Document feeder? Those are just personal choices. Happy shopping.

Epson Printer a cut above.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to follow setup instructions. Wifi response time is a bit slow to respond, however once printing the quality is good. Happy with the purchase especially the ink life time compared with their competitors who soak customers with ink cartridge life and cost.

Great EcoTank printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent printer for the price. I was able to take advantage of printer recycling which also saved money. This is my second Eco Tank printer, and I would never want to go back to replacable ink cartridges again. Set up was easy. Wireless and air print both work well. Printer is fast, and prints come out looking great.

Home printer, great features, reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced my PIXMA which I had for a long time and liked. This was less expensive and I like the ink refill system. I like that it is compact does duplex printing, prints quickly, has a feeder in addition to the flatbed scanner. I need to learn how to do a few more things yet but it seems reasonably intuitive.

Excellent MFC at this price point
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this printer. It actually was pretty easy to set up, even though Epson seems much more PC-oriented rather than Mac-oriented (which I have). It was easy to load the ink tanks and not messy at all. It is taking me some time to get used to how Epson uses the LCD screen, but overall the prints are excellent and it's easy to use.

Great little printer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best printer for my needs! I love that it doesn't have the ink cartridges and can't wait to see if the ink lasts as long as it is supposed to. It prints faster than my old one and it is smaller and doesn't take up much room. The print quality is great! So far so good!

Best printer purchase EVER!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is everything that I asked for. Set up was a piece of cake. I have printed about 200 pages, most of which have lots of color. The amount of ink used has been minimal. I would have gone through more ink cartridges in my previous Canon ink jet printer than I could count... or afford. Granted the Best Buy store I purchased this from did not have any units for immediate take home BUT mine was delivered by noon the following day (the day before Thanksgiving) in a very small town in very rural Nebraska. Very Pleased with purchase. Clerk at the store was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Great little printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. I have used an Epson printer for many years and when I found out about the EcoTank ET-3850 system and the savings on ink, I decided to take the plunge and invest in one. Setup was easy and connecting through WIFI just as easy and being able to have the printer separate from the PC was ideal for sharing with a 2nd PC. Print quality appears acceptable for our home usage, although we haven't tried printing photographs since that was not our intended usage. Good value, small footprint and quiet to use. Go buy one, you will be pleased.

Epson ET-3850
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer to replace an old HP workhorse that was past its prime. I really wanted a mega-tank type printer, and with my timeline and in-store availability, this one seemed to fit the bill. Pros: It's much smaller and lighter than my old printer, which I appreciated since it lives in my living room. The ink tanks were easy and clean to fill, and I'm excited about not having to buy cartridges. Setup was straightforward but time consuming. It's super easy to connect any device, whether computer or phone. Cons: Communication to the computer once a document is sent is slow, leaving you wondering if the document successfully sent. Printing and scanning legal size documents, although possible, is extremely frustrating. The color on full-color pictures is poor, but maybe there's a setting to change saturation, I haven't looked. It's a bit tedious to get through the menus, especially since the display is not touch screen. Coming from my old office-quality printer, it's a bit disappointing overall. Overall, it seems to be a great printer for basic use. Anything beyond basic might require another model. Had it not been this type and with full tanks, and I traded in my old printer, I would have returned it. It works for me but I really should have looked harder before purchasing (I later found a discontinued but still available Epson model that has more of the features I often use). Thank goodness these days we're doing more basic printing, but if that changes, I will need to consider replacing this unit.

Epson Ecotank ET-3850
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a fair amount of online research, I decided to go with the Epson Ecotank ET-3850 all-in-one inkjet printer. It was very easy to set up with my iMac 24 and the quality of the prints is excellent. The scanning function works well. I have not tried to print any pictures, but if the reviews are correct, the quality should be quite good. Filling the tanks was easy and clean. Overall I have been impressed so far.

Super printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best printer yet. Easy to use and the ink is true to color. The black is nice and dark also, can’t tell the copy from the original. The ink lasts for a very long time. I absolutely would recommend this printer to anyone who asks. I have gotten one for our office also. All the girls love how simple it is to us. Someone was on the ball to create this great printer.

Underwhelming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best thing going for this printer are the ink tanks and the extremely useful and ease of use Epson smart panel app. The display screen is not a touch screen and at the $350-400 price range you should get this. Navigation without it is awful, thank goodness for the smart app. The scanner tray feeder continually jammed. It may have just been that my machine was defective, but I would definitely caution if you need to use it often like I do. Print quality is pretty decent and photo quality is fair. All in all this printer is just okay and i beleive there are far better choices out there.

Surprised!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Surprised that this printer is as good as it is. I’vehad color laser printers for the last 12 years and never thought I’d go back to any kind of injet, but decided to try this one from someone’s recommendation. We’ve used it a lot with a lot of color and the ink in the sealed wells hasn’t even moved. With the right paper, is has laserlike print. Prints on bothe sides, is lighter and smaller. Overall great purchase.

Epson ET-3850
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted an all-in-one printer and was attracted to the Supertank vs. cartridges. This is pricy (compared to cartridge) but a very nice printer. Setup is a little tricky and it is a must to use the Epson setup software. Once completed this printer impressed me on ease of use, performance, and excellent printouts. I purchased the ET-3850 for the paper draw/tray and the top sheet feeder - features not available on Epson's less expensive model. Although I have read reviews on picture quality not being great, I am more than satisfied with the results.
