I love the new printer and it was easy to setup. No issue setting up the internet connection and phone connection. Prints great picture and now look forward to saving money on ink.

It's a great printer, but there are some hangups: Print quality- text doesn't look the most crisp, and colors aren't quite right. However, it prints pretty fast and simply setting print quality to *quality* instead of standard / draft fixes the crispness and most of the issues with colors. Copying via ADF- it came out of the box printing a line along the length of the copied pages. Required minor disassembly and cleaning (looks like some dust partical or something was in the film between the scan bed and adf tray. Otherwise, the scanning / copy quality itself is decent if not great for b+w. Wi-Fi connection: For whatever reason, it just will NOT connect to the 2.4ghz wifi band which we have all of our other IoT devices on. The easy fix? Just use 5ghz band. Not sure if this is a router issue, printer firmware issue, or what, but this is the only device we've had issues with our wifi so I'm inclined to point the blame at the printer. This could be a dealbreaker for you though if you have the same issue and are out of range of 5ghz or don't have a 5ghz band and also can't use the wifi direct functionality. Pros: - The mobile app for setup was incredibly intuitive and fast compared to the on-screen guide. Filling tanks, aligning print head etc were all easy to follow instructions on page. - Print speed is pretty fast - the screen / controls are fairly intuitive (and you can do almost everything you want from the mobile app even if not). Unlike other printer manufacturers, I actually want to use this app because it's good BUT the onboard experience is just fine as well - EcoTank printer print cost is drastically more cost effective than cartridge based printers, and they can't vendor lock you into their ecosystem. This leads to a marginally higher upfront cost, but the long-term savings if you print frequently are immediately apparent. We're talking single cents or tenths of a cent per page vs 2-8¢ per page - literally one tenth as expensive per page as our old cartridge based printer. If you compare to cartridge based printers, the break even point is roughly $100/1500 pages printed so if this printer is even $200 more expensive than a comparable cartridge printer, you would only need to print 3000 pages before this printer is more cost effective. You also get the benefit of putting exactly as much ink as you want in any of the tanks at any point technically from any vendor (though Epson sells their ink at basically commodity rate so why not just use the 1st party ink anyway). Overall, very happy with this purchase despite the minor flaws noted above. All issues were able to be worked around or resolved, and Epson provides comprehensive documentation and troubleshooting instructions for any issues that come up.

This is my second EPSON product i have purchased. My first EPSON printer/scanner lasted 4 years and stopped scanning. I returned to Best Buy to purchase a new printer scanner... I purchased another EPSON ET 3950 due to the support and assistance I received with the first one. I was informed by the sales person that the Plan to cover all of my electronic items would cover a GEEK installation of the printer. THIS IS WHY I BOUGHT IT AT BEST BUY. However when I tried to set up the GEEK installation I was informed the plan did not cover an in home set up.. So I had to pay for a home visit to set it up...The GEEK squad tech was able to set up the printer with my MACBook Pro but not able to set up the scanner. He gave me a contact number at EPSON to get help. I asked him why he could not call Best Buy for tech support since BEST BUY sells this product. He told me he cannot do that....So he left me with the EPSON phone number and left without finishing the job I paid for. I attempted to get assistance from EPSON and had difficulty understanding the tech support at EPSON. She told me she would email me the steps to install and hung up. So i had to make another appointment and the first available is Oct 22??????? I asked the receptionist about a wait list. He told me to check the appointment calender which would show cancellations (i asked where I could find it) he said goodbye So the next purchase I need to make .. I definitely will not start shopping at BEST BUY. I am very dissappointed to the lack of follow up and support

I just love this printer. It works like a charm. It prints beautifully. Set up was very easy just follow the instructions. It connected easily to my WiFi, my laptop, my iPad. So far so good. I would definitely recommend.

This is so easy to use and it is easy to wirelessly print. Adding ink is super easy and it is so much better than all of the ink cartridges that other printers have. Very impressed so far with this and I even like how it looks.

Replacing an older Epson. I'm happy with all the updates. Easy to set up. Well-designed ink tank that was also easy to fill. Good print quality, certainly fast enough for home office use.

I love the accessibility of the printer and it is ready to print at all times. The ink tanks are are much easier than they used to be and the ink lasts.

It has many features and the print quality is fabulous. Great color photos come out. The Phone app installation process is first rate. And I love the cartridge free printing.

Nice product, relatively easy to set up. the network connection configuration was kind of flaky though. took several iterations to get connected to the network. the mobile app was very nicely done to assist with initial configuration guiding you through the ink tank filling, etc. Nice form factor. Looking forward to saving some money on the ink with this new EcoTank technology! The subsequent firmware updates are quirky where the printer is trying to do it itself and the PC application software seems to be trying to do it at the same time and brings up confusing messages that the firmware updates have failed, but the printer is still performing the updates - rather strange.

It was So easy to install and the print quality is very good.

We love this printer. The color is vibrant and bright. We have a small business and this printer is great for printing flyers. It is very quiet and efficient.
