We had an older Epsom printer which we constantly struggled with to get it to work. When I finally decided to get a new printer, a salesperson recommended this Epson printer. While I was hesitant at first due to our experience with the older one, I liked the fact that the ink supply is huge! In addition, the ink refills are very inexpensive. SO I "splurged " and bought it and couldn't be happier. The set up was a breeze and while it does require you to install the driver yourself, the on-line instructions made it very easy. I would absolutely recommend this printer to anyone who needs a new one.

Epson has always been my choice of printer and now with the new Epson ET-4760 printer, my choice was on target. I have never used such a great printer as this one. I have printed family photos, photos from online, and others with great color and vividly with the ET-4760. It was very easy to set up and adding the ink in bottles was also great idea. I have printed about 35 8x10s, and lots of smaller sizes all ready. Wedding photos I shot two weeks ago are perfect. Thank you for selling this great printer.

I have had HP universal all-in-one printers for years but kept getting frustrated with the ink cartridges. I was looking at this printer when an older couple walked by and told me they had purchased it a year before. They absolutely loved it so I brought it home. It is so easy to set up and the ink lasts so much longer than the cartridges. So far I have had no issues with the printing and it has kept my business up and running!

Best printer ever!!!! I have sooo many things to say about it! It’s really fast printing, I can print from a iPhone or android, I can’t remember how many languages it has but I put mine in Spanish, really easy to fill the ink tank and the best part is that this printer doesn’t need cartridges!! You can also set up the fax. I can’t say anything about the quality because mine it’s bad but I decided no to work in that part but you can always go to settings and work in it. Overall it’s a great decision to buy this printer.

Bought this one to replace 1st generation EcoTank printer which was used daily and finally gave out. This generation is much easier to fill and like having the tanks on the front vs side, so doesn't take as much room on our desk. The ADF feeder is improved and the connection for fax was easier and works better. I like that don't have to buy ink cartridges, which pays for itself in the long run. I'll never buy another cartridge based printer, you're just throwing your money away. The whole house uses this printer from phones, laptops, ipads and desktops.

I've been very satisfied with this printer. I like it better than my HP5741. This one is faster, but a little louder. I love the easy fill ink tanks and the window view to see ink levels. The setup was super easy, no driver issues like with my HP. My HP would auto spring the paper holder tray out when a printout would start, this one you have to manually pull the tray out or your printout goes on the floor or desk. Overall, I'm glad to own this printer. I've had zero problems with it.

Love this printer. This is my first Epson Printer. I have been giving it a super workout and the ink levels haven't even budged. I can see already how I will be saving on ink. to me that is a big deal. Being technically challenged, it took me a little longer than normal to get it set up but I muddled through it. I definitely made the right choice getting this printer. The color pictures are great too, very clear and good color. It also does not take up as much room as some of my other printers.

I am new to printing my photography. So when I had asked for what printer would serve me well I was directed to this printer by John Goff & Peter Dewitt. The printer is well worth the money. It's easy to set up and use. The results speak for themselves. Even on regular copy paper (which I tested) the images come out quick and look better than they should. Combine that with the fact I have glossy paper you have a superior combination. I'm very excited to use this printer moving forward in my photography work.

This printer is ingenious. Not having to worry about my ink running out for a good two years is a giant check mark in favor of this product. It’s easy to set up and begin using. The only snags I have run into with the Epson (2 year) printers has to do with my Internet connection and occasionally a stray corner on a piece of paper, folds over and jams the machine. But it’s not a whole “deal” to get it back on line. Even extracting a wayward piece of typing paper is a brief exercise in complete common sense. This printer just gets me.

    Dependable Satisfying Solution

I haven't had this very long but I've printed a ton of academic papers and I haven't seen anything but perfection yet. The bottles are strange. Each color has its own "fit" when filling the tank, like the nozzle is essentially a key, kinda cool but I still don't like holding a bottle of ink upside down over an expensive printer with the lid open and parts exposed. No spills yet, though I've only done the initial fill-up which does take the entire contents of the included ink bottles. I'm curious about partial refills myself. I'm also curious if I need to save the original bottles for re-use with discount ink. I haven't been paying attention to efficiency ($ of ink per page), but it doesn't appear to be worse than previous printers. Regardless, I really like being able to see the physical levels of ink in the tanks, that's pretty cool, a low-ink warning doesn't get any more practical than that. My only complaint so far is that there is no option for an Epson custom print preview. If you've ever spent a good amount of time trying to print custom content, you know there is a difference between an application's idea of what will be printed and the printer's idea of what will be printed. But I'm not printing custom content anymore so I'm not too worried about it. I bought this printer as a dependable satisfying solution for a large but typical set of printing needs and it has not failed me in any way yet.

This is an excellent all-in-one perfect for everyday home or small office printing. Pros: - Compact size - Loaded with features - Easy to setup and use - Works flawlessly with all kinds of devices (Windows, Mac, iOS,..) - Epson connect web service Cons: - The build quality seems a bit flimsy in places for a printer at this price point - While printing 2-sided, the print speed seems to be 50% at best compared with the advertised speed

Love the Eco tank. No more cartages. It's more expensive but will really cut down on printing costs. I print a lot. Easy set up. It copies, Faxes, and scans. Has a top feeder as well. Prints good. I've printed about 100 pages of black and colored on plain paper with no complaints. It prints on plain paper that's also a plus. Haven't tried photo paper yet so don't know the printing quality of that yet. Downside is that it's just not made as sturdy as the cartage style printers. Would be nice to have a larger screen display.

Great Prints, Excellent Ink Supply, Poor ADF!

I've owned the ET-4760 for a few months now. Overall it does a good job. I CERTAINLY love the super large ink wells as I've always purchased 3rd party refillable cartridge kits up until this printer as ink cartridges are a COMPLETE ripoff, you have to replace them too frequently, and they are an environmental nightmare..... This feature built in is a decent alternative. I do have an issue with the automatic document feeder... For one, it doesn't duplex scan automatically and has no easy feature to interleave pages.... ALSO... With anything less than an absolute PERFECT sheet of paper it jams up... tiny staple hole?.... JAM... rabbit ear crease that you've tried desperately to flatten.... JAM.... Wavy sheets.... JAM.... no apparent blemish whatsoever..... JAM..... The auto document feeder is terrible and works only with absolute perfect sheets.... I hate it, and this is the only reason I wont give this unit 5 stars It's quiet and the print and scan quality is excellent. The paper tray holds a sufficient amount of paper that you don't feel you have to replenish it too often. It would be nice to just accept a whole ream though. I have had to run the printhead cleaning utility a couple times already due to lines in the prints.... I feel this shouldn't happen so early on as I've had printers for over a year without running the printhead cleaning utility at all and they functioned flawlessly... but this is minor.

Set up took some time, but it was straightforward and the directions were easy to follow. I did find that my eyesight has detonated a bit since my more youthful days when I had to complete the alignment part of the process - the variations were infinitesimally small, but they were there! The quality so far is excellent and the printing is fast - only downside is that it is a bit loud, but nothing terribly bad. Overall, very happy with this little workhorse!

This machine packs a serious punch with no need for the cursed cartridges. Best investment for my business & super fast printing. The footprint on my desk is also nice compared to the clunky dinosaur we had before. It’s still big but not so obnoxiously big like printers of yesteryear. Also, I wish I had known that they offer it in black. I’m stuck with it now but I definitely would have gotten black if it would have been available in the store.

I got it working basic functions in an hour. It took couple more hours to get all recommended software installed from Epson and learn to use most of it. The only thing I wish this printer had was an USB plug so I could scan documents directly to USB instead of computer. Also, when you scan multiple pages instead of one, you can preview them until you are done. You can only preview one page or first one if multiple are scanned. :-/ However, printing from ink tanks instead cartridges makes up for it. :-)

Got this to replace a Canon printer that was giving me too many problems. I decided to go with Epson due to past good experiences with the brand and being unhappy with Canon's customer service and dwindling reputation. I've had nothing but problems with anything HP, so I didn't even consider them, and Brother was just not in my price range. This printer is good for for it is... a slightly better than average home multi-purpose printer. I really like the ink tank concept, it should save me a ton on ink. Print quality is good... again for a multi-purpose with only CMYK inks (none of which are specifically for photo paper). If you're looking for a high quality photo printer with photo inks, this is NOT for you. If you need a basic all-in-one for home, it may be. Here's a simple pros/cons list... Pros- Ink tanks instead of cartridges! Saves money and better for the Earth. Just one of several models though. Said ink tanks are very easy to fill, I was worried about spilling... not possible. You can physically see the ink levels right there in the tanks, without software! Epson claims 2 years worth of ink in the box! I, obviously, can't verify that, yet. After you first fill the tanks, it "charges" the ink (I think it fills reservoirs in the print head, not sure though), This drops the ink levels a bit, mine have barely moved since, if at all, after a hundred or so sheets. Good sized paper tray, I think it holds 300 sheets? I think. Small footprint, though it is on the tall side. Wi-Fi (both networked or direct connect - worked flawlessly with my Note 10+) Stylish enough... it's not ugly at least. More utility than art. All-in-one (scanner/printer/fax) Scanner has Automatic Document Feeder (adf)! (haven't used it, so I won't say anything other than it's there) Scans fast, and reasonably quiet. Scans flat documents flawlessly and crystal clear (see con on that below) While it is JUST CMYK, the few photos I printed on glossy were great, not pro but great. Prints fast - after warm-up... like pretty much every inkjet today. It seems very sturdy, solid and well built. I still don't expect more than 2 years out of it though :/ I found the set-up and general use easy. I am a tech guy though... Cons- Limited paper size options, and only one tray, so you have to switch out to print photos (my Canon had two, one for normal paper one for photo paper of whatever size). Wi-Fi can be iffy, and has no manual options whatsoever beyond direct or network. It very often "can't find network". No biggie as I use a USB to my desktop. Typical annoying long, noisy warm-up time. Touch screen is tiny, but usable. Scanner tech... it's LED, no depth at all, anything directly touching the glass is ultra super clear and perfect, the tiniest bit above glass gets blurry. My Perfection 1650 is the old florescent type scanner... way better! This's the new tech though, not directly negative of THIS scanner, it's ALL new scanners, by any major company :( Scanner bed is good for 8.5x11, nothing more, and it doesn't lift very much for thicker items... however, you can of course just leave it open. No "special" scanner software like OCRs or photo stitching. No CD printing. It's 2020, most of you won't care about this. But, it's odd because Epson was the first to have cd printing with an inkjet. The ink tanks (and this IS minor and petty) don't look like the pictures, no color, they just look black! You can see the color if you hold a light up to them, sort of. Maybe Epson could add an led under the tanks with a button on future models. Also, while shopping, I noticed different models have the tanks in different orders, you can't spill the ink, but you CAN put in the wrong tank, so be careful. The outer plastic seems to stain easily, somehow I got ink on it (think it was broken pen), and it won't come off. The software is just average, nothing special. Not enough options for printing, the scanner software isn't much better. I recommend getting VueScan for ANY scanner anyway, that's very good software. Other thoughts- I'm a little concerned about ink drying out. With carts, you just get new ones, what happens here? Go to the store at LOOK at them, and get the specs on your phone. This line of Epsons are very similar with $100 price steps, and probably all the same print/scan quality. Canon and Brother both have ink tank printers too. If not for my recent Canon issues, I would have seriously considered theirs as well, Canon will likely always have the best print quality. Nothing against Brother, great quality printers, but bussinessy and out of my budget. If the highest photo print quality is your concern, you should consider getting something like this for general use AND a high end dedicated printer for photo/art. Those photo printers just throw ink away on basic stuff. If high quality scans are crucial and you're scanning anything with physical depth... well, good luck with that and new scanning tech. (don't get me wrong... the new tech is superb at scanning, as long it's perfectly flat!) Have fun taking off all those little blue pieces of tape (applies to pretty much any all-in-one I'm sure)! Would I recommend this to a friend? Sure, if it fit their needs. For most people, I think this would be a great All-in-one. Would I replace it if I dropped it while moving and it broke (yes, this happened to my first Epson (R3something), but it wasn't being made anymore:( ) - Yes, absolutely (if it's still being made, lol)! Sorry for the crazy long review.
