Decent printer, could be better.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace a Canon printer that was giving me too many problems. I decided to go with Epson due to past good experiences with the brand and being unhappy with Canon's customer service and dwindling reputation. I've had nothing but problems with anything HP, so I didn't even consider them, and Brother was just not in my price range. This printer is good for for it is... a slightly better than average home multi-purpose printer. I really like the ink tank concept, it should save me a ton on ink. Print quality is good... again for a multi-purpose with only CMYK inks (none of which are specifically for photo paper). If you're looking for a high quality photo printer with photo inks, this is NOT for you. If you need a basic all-in-one for home, it may be. Here's a simple pros/cons list... Pros- Ink tanks instead of cartridges! Saves money and better for the Earth. Just one of several models though. Said ink tanks are very easy to fill, I was worried about spilling... not possible. You can physically see the ink levels right there in the tanks, without software! Epson claims 2 years worth of ink in the box! I, obviously, can't verify that, yet. After you first fill the tanks, it "charges" the ink (I think it fills reservoirs in the print head, not sure though), This drops the ink levels a bit, mine have barely moved since, if at all, after a hundred or so sheets. Good sized paper tray, I think it holds 300 sheets? I think. Small footprint, though it is on the tall side. Wi-Fi (both networked or direct connect - worked flawlessly with my Note 10+) Stylish enough... it's not ugly at least. More utility than art. All-in-one (scanner/printer/fax) Scanner has Automatic Document Feeder (adf)! (haven't used it, so I won't say anything other than it's there) Scans fast, and reasonably quiet. Scans flat documents flawlessly and crystal clear (see con on that below) While it is JUST CMYK, the few photos I printed on glossy were great, not pro but great. Prints fast - after warm-up... like pretty much every inkjet today. It seems very sturdy, solid and well built. I still don't expect more than 2 years out of it though :/ I found the set-up and general use easy. I am a tech guy though... Cons- Limited paper size options, and only one tray, so you have to switch out to print photos (my Canon had two, one for normal paper one for photo paper of whatever size). Wi-Fi can be iffy, and has no manual options whatsoever beyond direct or network. It very often "can't find network". No biggie as I use a USB to my desktop. Typical annoying long, noisy warm-up time. Touch screen is tiny, but usable. Scanner tech... it's LED, no depth at all, anything directly touching the glass is ultra super clear and perfect, the tiniest bit above glass gets blurry. My Perfection 1650 is the old florescent type scanner... way better! This's the new tech though, not directly negative of THIS scanner, it's ALL new scanners, by any major company :( Scanner bed is good for 8.5x11, nothing more, and it doesn't lift very much for thicker items... however, you can of course just leave it open. No "special" scanner software like OCRs or photo stitching. No CD printing. It's 2020, most of you won't care about this. But, it's odd because Epson was the first to have cd printing with an inkjet. The ink tanks (and this IS minor and petty) don't look like the pictures, no color, they just look black! You can see the color if you hold a light up to them, sort of. Maybe Epson could add an led under the tanks with a button on future models. Also, while shopping, I noticed different models have the tanks in different orders, you can't spill the ink, but you CAN put in the wrong tank, so be careful. The outer plastic seems to stain easily, somehow I got ink on it (think it was broken pen), and it won't come off. The software is just average, nothing special. Not enough options for printing, the scanner software isn't much better. I recommend getting VueScan for ANY scanner anyway, that's very good software. Other thoughts- I'm a little concerned about ink drying out. With carts, you just get new ones, what happens here? Go to the store at LOOK at them, and get the specs on your phone. This line of Epsons are very similar with $100 price steps, and probably all the same print/scan quality. Canon and Brother both have ink tank printers too. If not for my recent Canon issues, I would have seriously considered theirs as well, Canon will likely always have the best print quality. Nothing against Brother, great quality printers, but bussinessy and out of my budget. If the highest photo print quality is your concern, you should consider getting something like this for general use AND a high end dedicated printer for photo/art. Those photo printers just throw ink away on basic stuff. If high quality scans are crucial and you're scanning anything with physical depth... well, good luck with that and new scanning tech. (don't get me wrong... the new tech is superb at scanning, as long it's perfectly flat!) Have fun taking off all those little blue pieces of tape (applies to pretty much any all-in-one I'm sure)! Would I recommend this to a friend? Sure, if it fit their needs. For most people, I think this would be a great All-in-one. Would I replace it if I dropped it while moving and it broke (yes, this happened to my first Epson (R3something), but it wasn't being made anymore:( ) - Yes, absolutely (if it's still being made, lol)! Sorry for the crazy long review.

Best "InkJet" printer out there
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this about three months ago. It's fantastic. We bought an ET-4750 a few years back for $399 at Best Buy. That printer ran for more than a year before we needed to fill the tanks. It's still going strong. (I subtracted one star from "Value" because I paid $100 more for the ET-4760 compared to the ET-4750.) I needed a printer for work to replace a failing HP LaserJet. This was my go-to product. Though it's now $100 more than the black ET-4750 (color is the only difference...specs are the same for both), it's still a bargain. Replacing toner in my old LaserJet cost over $550!! Sure, this Epson prints fewer pages per minute...but I'm happy to wait given the Eco Tank system eliminates so much waste in at least three/four ways. (1) Ink and toner cartridges for other brands are totally overpriced (2) and, even with recycling, are horrible for the environment. (3) This printer uses A LOT less power than any LaserJet. (4) Trips to the store or ordering cartridges are not really necessary...buy an extra pack of Epson refills when you purchase this printer and you will be set for at least 1-2 years. There are two teachers and two high school students in our house, plus a decent amount of photo prints are produced. Despite the home office, school assignments, and photography, we get good mileage on a full tank. Beats every HP InkJet I've owned (at least half a dozen) over the years. Go with Eco-Tank and you'll be glad you did!!!

Easy and quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this printer has been great. It's quick to print and scan and was super easy to set up and connect to both my phone and laptop. Filling the ink was simple and mess free. I like that the wells are in front unlike my last printer that was similar. The only thing negative that I can say at this point is the touchscreen is really small on some of the menus which makes making selections a little more difficult. I suggest using a stylus if you have one.

This is a Great Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have heard about this printer since it came out and knew that I would try it as soon as my current printer gave out. Well, as luck would have it my printer of the last six years finally went out and I bought this one. It is so easy to set up and very user friendly. The print quality is amazing for everyday printing. The print speed is impressive also. I really like the fact that it is cloud printer so you can connect to it anywhere in the world as long as you are on wi-fi and print.

Great printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this printer, I can see how much ink is left. I usually have to swap out ink cartridges every 3-4 weeks. It's been almost 8 weeks and I have used less than a quarter of the ink ( see bottom right of front of printer for ink levels). It's a compact printer, slightly noisier than my old printer so I can hear when it is printing, but it's not annoyingly loud. I was lucky and bought it on a holiday sale and paid $100 less than the next lower level printer cost.

Epson-Eco Tank ET-4760 printer is great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Epson Eco tank 4760 wireless All in One inkjet printer is the bomb! Ink tank is easily filled with the special bottled ink.. no spills and easy to see what is in the tanks. Price for bottled ink is much better than the ink cartridges. Copies come out sharp and clear! Also a great copier for home use. Easy to send items from phone wirelessly to printer for copying. I have always found Epson printers to be economically priced, long lasting great product!

Great printer for small and large prints.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson - EcoTank ET-4760 Wireless All-In-One Inkjet Printer - White is an overall great printer. It works effortlessly during small or large printing. The wireless feature is great for printing from different devices. Printing with easy-to-fill, supersized ink tanks is much more efficient and provides a much more economical saving value. Also, this printer provides cleaner and clearer text including excellent color.

Nice printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am surprised at how nice the printing is on this printer. Very clean and sharp. I like the ink tanks that let me see just how much ink I actually have available. When I filled the tanks I still had ink left in the bottles. I'm thinking that this will make the ink less costly than the already filled cartridges I had to buy for my other printer. The only down side, the printer is noisy while printing.

Easy printer to use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving this printer. Good quality output and easy to use. I’ve had it about a month now and so far no problems whatsoever. I’d recommend it. I compared it to others when deciding and based on the fact that it uses less ink, I understood I’d be saving money, in fact about the cost of the printer itself. Ink cartridges are way too expensive. I recommend joining Best Buy total tech repair too. If you change your mind, returns are hassle free!

great printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.easy to set up. Ink bottles are great, I thought they might spill however they seal very well. I am not the most tech savvy person and had no trouble. I like the size of the printer, it is 15 inches wide and fits in the drawer in my kitchen. Would highly recommend this printer. My only drawback is the fax section. We have no landline and I didn't realize you couldn't fax from a cell phone without additional software for my phone.

Love It!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have always been a HP fan until I realized I was purchasing a new HP printer every 2-3 years and the ink for HP is crazy expensive. Have been using this EPSON for weeks 100’s of color and more black and white prints. Can’t see that the ink level has diminished at all. And yes you can see the level right on the front. Print quality is as good or possibly better than the HP’s we had. Almost too easy to use. Love this printer!!!!!!!!

Very good printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned Epson printers in past and always been happy with brand. This particular printer prints crisp, clean prints quickly. Set up is a breeze (on my iMac anyway). And the ink is very economical AND LASTS FOREVER it seems like. Does print/copy/scan/fax all quickly and easily. You don't need to be a tech genius to use or set up. Very happy with this purchase. Compared to HP printers THIS IS THE BEST!

||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far really good. Great ink usage. Works great every time I use it. I’ve printed a bunch of pages and seems like it doesn’t use a lot of ink. Expensive yes. But seems to be worth it because of the ink usage. Hope it lasts a while as I don’t print every day. I print about once a week. Use a pencil if you can’t push the options on the screen.

Great long term value, a bit expensive up-front.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent printer, but I feel like the printer itself is overpriced. Yes, you save a ton of money in the long run with the cheap giant bottles of ink, but geez, it's an expensive printer up front. Aside from the price, it works great. If you're dead set on getting an inkjet printer for whatever reason, I would recommend it. But, if you can do a laser printer instead, you might consider that.

Excellent printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer works great. Easy to setup and use. Scanning and printing from Mac, Windows and iOS have all worked perfectly. My kids have really been trying to burn through the ink and so far I can't see any noticeable drop in ink level, it looks like the ink tanks will last for a while. Ink fill process was simple and no mess. Very happy to no longer deal with Ink Cartridges. A+

Works well but expensive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Epson Expression 860 died. I replaced it with the Epson ET-4760. It’s an Eco Tank printer meaning no more expensive cartridges. But it uses only 4 ink colors: CYMK. Not great for photos but great for color graphics. Luckily I also have the the Epson 1430 for photographic use. The construction of the 4760 is somewhat flimsy compared to the 860 which was my workhorse for many years and also the 4760 lacks a number of features: no card slot, no powered paper receiving tray, no duplex copying, no CD printing, only one paper cassette but it holds 250 sheets vs the 860’s 50) and only 4 colors. The ink tanks are easy to fill and refills are reasonably priced and last much, much longer than cartridges. The printer prints faster (I’ve been getting about 14 ppm on text pages using standard quality) than the 860 but is noisier. The print quality is quite good at the standard setting…maybe a tad light. On the high quality setting it is very good (at the expense of speed.) The ADF works well (30 sheets) but I miss the auto duplexing copying of the 860. Setting up the printer is painless and and the software has been upgrade somewhat and installs easily. The printer does have voice command and I have linked it to Siri on my phone and it has been useful. I have set up the Windows Task Scheduler to print a graphic once a week to prevent printhead drying and clogging if I don’t use the printer for awhile. Overall the 4760 does what it’s designed to do and is a worthwhile addition to the home or home office.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The cost if ink is what made me go this direction. I am very pleased with this printer. It’s not that noisy as some say The HP I own makes more noise. The main thing is this ink will last. I printed what would have pretty much have emptied my HP cartridges and it barely put a dent on the ink levels and I was printing photos. It does print photos nicely. Set up is easy and so is adding the ink.
