Filling the ink tanks was easy, as claimed. I have it directly linked to a computer with printer USB-AB cable, all good. As far as home network, not satisfactory. It recognizes my network, but claims the signal is weak. However, two computers, two TV's, a phone, and previous HP printers disagree - all indicate 4 bars. What's worse, it frequently disconnects completely from the network. I have to turn it off and on to get it to reconnect and print any remote documents. If you want it to run off an in-home network, better keep it close to your router. If you don't care about this, it is otherwise quite satisfactory.

It was the only one they had in stock. Supply shortage i was told. Way more printer than i needed. It took quite some time to get it hooked up and printing. It works well enough but not fantastic.

Directions were easy to follow, SO far, the printer is doing it's job well. We had wished that the printer has come with a USB printer connection to give us that option.

I was tired of my old printers running out of one color and requiring me to replace all the cartridges. The Epson printer has solved that problem. It is easy to set up and use. Plus it is idiot proof and you cannot fill the wells with the wrong color.

More Bang for the Buck

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far I've liked this printer had it about a week haven't printed any pictures yet but everything else I've printed has worked good I hooked my Epson et-4850 to my Linksys EA7500 v.2 router over Wi-Fi and my laptop over Wi-Fi and my desktop is wired with cat5e hooked to my Linksys EA7500 V.2 and the desktop and laptop prints fine over the router haven't tried to print from my phone yet but that is what I used to set it up with so I'm sure it will print from the Epson Smart Panel & Epson I Print apps that I used to set it up with after getting it all set up I think I've used maybe about 1/5 of the ink that I first put in it and I haven't toped it off with the ink that I had left over yet

Great except 1 flaw

Most important feature is the refillable ink. Saves a ton of money! Only thing I did not like about it is that the tray for the printout needs to be extended to catch the paper, or else it’s all over the floor. Sometimes you forget to extend it or in my case there is a clearance issue.

Epson-EcoTank ET 4850 Review

So far, I am still on the first cartridges that came with the printer. Full load! Print quality is great for general printing, and I have not tried photo printing.
