Fairly quiet and it does have Epson quality. The main feature is the tank design, I have had the product over a year and have never had to replace toner tank yet, although the black soon, So this does save hassle factor and money for toner. HOWEVER, big drawback. The small screen is SO small you need a magnifying glass to read it. Terrible. Also, when you turn the machine on, it will auto turn off after about 5 hours of non use, and there is no way to turn it on remotely, a big drawback when I want to print from outside the home. Also, to touch the buttons on the tiny tiny screen, you almost need a stylus, even an average size finger will not work. Terrible design, not what I expected from Epson.

I bought an ET-4850 in July. True to the low reviews, the ADF jammed 99% of the time. I just received a replacement yesterday under warranty and it does the same thing. OBTW, customer service was a bear to navigate. First tier help is useless; put on hold after every question to "ask a supervisor." After some analysis, observation and trial & error, I concluded the ADF works fine with thick, rigid (24 lb or greater) paper, but not the most common 20 lb OR LESS like many companies are now using in their mailings. I looked at the design and attribute it to two problems: (1) the precise width of the black paper chute at the top of the ADF is exactly 8-9/16" wide...the same ACTUAL size of "8-1/2 inch" paper. So when the ADF tries to drag it through this gauntlet, 20 lb paper buckles, twists and ultimately jams. (2) Contributing to allowing the twisting is that where the feeder starts to curl the page around 180 degrees, there are only two guide stays on the outer edges and NONE IN THE MIDDLE. It is this initial buckling of the thin paper in the middle that starts the twisting and jamming. So I paid for a MFP with an ADF and don't have one usable with most paper. Additionally, the scan software does not do automatic front/back resequencing after a manual flip like the HP scan software does. And OBTW, the red also does print very dull/washed-out as stated in many reviews; can't tell you why.

Perfect price for the perfect printer. Ignore the speed and be patient with it. it saves money. no more buying of ink.

Works as advertised, great product. No complaints whatsoever

Pleased so far with the printer. Have not explored all the options yet. The ink tanks are easy to fill. The packaged arrived one and a half days after ordering. The box was in great shape when it arrived.

Excellent printer. Works as it should i even fixed a problem i had by cleaning the print heads

I like the cartridge system, The regular print quality is good, but the colors of photo prints are too dark. The Epson tech support is of no help.

This is a replacement from the 2850 as that one failed to perform well at all. We like this model much better

2nd one I’ve owned. 1st one lasted about 5 years without any issues. They cost more but you make up the difference in ink consumption

My Geek Squad printer guy really helped to improve the quality of my photo prints. I think maybe I should have gotten a printer more designed for glossy photo prints. Overall, I'm satisfied for now

I have only had printer for a short time, but I have been impressed so far. The printer had one abnormality upon delivery, but otherwise has been an excellent choice.

In-store assistance was superb. I was unaware of several features on Canon model printers and really appreciated the sound advice I received.

Duplex does not work. Jams. The issue is obvious and should be easily resolved with a new part other than that I like it.

Great product. Would recommend to future buyers. It met all the requirements needed for what I intended to use is for.
