I was pretty excited about the prospect of this in suspension system. Unfortunately, the experiences hit and miss. If you are planning on large printing or scanning jobs, this one is not for you. For the home office with occasional printing or waxing, it could be a good option.

I had an old Epson Artisan printer for many years and was content. I wanted something to print better quality photos so recently purchased the 4850 Eco tank. The quality of print is poor and I am surprised to see this in an expensive machine. Blacks come out as gray making the print light and difficult to read, and the colors are very diluted. For example, a royal blue will print as a pastel powder blue, a bright orange as almost a yellow. The print is also a little grainy or fuzzy, instead of strong and clear. The pages come out faster, which is nice, but what good is that if it prints poorly. The screen is very small and there is a need to look at it really close to make selections and to turn off. Even though I was careful and followed the set up instructions well, I will be calling Epson to see if perhaps there is something that can be changed in the setup. If not, I will be returning the printer and will stay away from Epson in my next purchase.

This is our second EcoTank printer. Both have been wonderful. The touchscreen on the 4850 is a bit small.

works great , the tanks are the best feature the printer does every thing it is supposed to do

Works very well. Had a few issues getting connected to the network. At first air drop did didn’t work properly

This priter does it all for me. I get medical references by fax with good quality. Bast home printer

The Epson-EcoTank ET-4850 All-In-One Cartridge Free Supertank Pronter is functioning as advertised. I'm interested in how long it continues to function well.

Good product. Seems to be working well but had to be reset or power on and off

Finally have new computer and printer working I had to bring in the Geek Squad to get everything working properly. We were trying to get things things working- Geek Squad 10 minutes.

Yes it’s expensive, but I’m buying all the ink I need up front rather than waiting till i run out. We’ve printed a bunch for personal use and kids school activities and there is a lot of ink remaining. The prints look good and we can print easily from pc’s or smartphones/tablets. It has a smaller footprint and does everything that our old printer could do.

I liked the idea of the bottle ink. However, I’ve had to put Epson Tech Support in my phone as a contact because it stops working every time they update the printer driver. They have no explanation for why this is. That’s been about 6 calls in two months.

I've had an Epson for years and was having a hard time trying to get the toner cartridge for it. This new EcoTank is great and I love that you can see how much ink is in the tanks.

Very good choice and I am impressed. It does the same thing that my previous printer did plus some.

Love the printing and the ink. The Wi-Fi air printing is sketchy. On and off always requiring re setting.

If you do any printing, you want this printer, simply for the cost savings.

Excellent product. I've always hated cartridges and with this I don't have to buy them anymore.
