Works well. The Black isn't as dark as I would have hoped which makes the contrast leaving a little to be desired.

We just got our Epson Eco Tank 4850 printer & so far it’s been great!

This review is actually referencing to the Epson ET 4760, I bought this printer almost a year ago, nothing but trouble since I bought it. Scans all doc's slow, constantly reminders the ink is low when in fact the tanks are only a quarter percent low, when scanning it leaves dark lines on the paper, has been cleaned numerous times! but the lines will not not go away. There are 3 lines now and they are getting darker! At the beginning I thought this was a great idea, the echo tank system, this has turned out to be a very expensive paper weight wished I would have did a more though research before buying. Never had a problem with Epson's before. Went back to using my WF Pro 3720, until the problem is resolved. Also this printer is not compatible with Windows 11, would not work that OS! Again this review is for the Epson ET 4760. Thinking of maybe trying the ET 4850, Maybe.

Do yourself a huge favor, do NOT buy this ET-4850. Not sure who these favorable reviews are, this printer is poor, bad. First, the print is poor, lousy not an HP. Second, no ability to fax. Third, you can't print double sided it just jams. Fourth, it will NOT connect to any mobile devices, refuses. Fifth, the software, for lack of a better word is childish. Finally, there are no ports, none. can't connect at all and your out of luck because it won't connect to anything. Seriously, I have had tons of printers, this one is by far the worst, do NOT BUY!!!!!

Need to reset some of the printing specs cumbersome.

After purchasing a competitors printer and ink for decades, I decided to try something new and give Epson a chance. First, listen to all of the reviews. It IS slow. It DOES have connection issues, especially with Apple products. The print driver locks up our printer network A LOT. You will get ink in your hands filling it up. It feels cheap and makes a lot of noise. It takes up to 12 seconds for a print job to start. The feeder jams a lot. The good news-I was able to return it. Buy the other brand, this one is pretty bad.

I wish my old Epson still worked. I wanted to love this machine, sadly it's mediocre at best. The color copies either via computer or printed off glass, are not vibrant at all. Very faint colors. Also, the scanner is sooooo slow. I've tried both the flatbed and the feeder and both are extremely slow. I'm scanning one page whe enter this review

product review, but when i was told there was a 14 day return i was surprised to discover, after it was clear the scanner did not scan, that the day i picked the printer was the first day of 14 day period. this is not the way any federal or state court, or federal or state agency counts the days. so unfortunately we discovered that on what would have been the 14th day, but in best buy's reality it was the 15th day and hence 1 day out of the return period. not good.

Do Not buy this printer. Epson has recently forced an update that does not allow you to use affordable ink cartridges Their cartridges are at least 3 times higher than others and your printer will no longer work. The offer no help with this problem and just say that is your problem because they did updates. their cartridges don't work even though they are empty. It is a racket

Easy to connect to the MAC, easy instructions to follow

I had an earlier model that needed the ink pad replaced. The printer shut down and stated to contact Epson Service Center. The Epson Service Center stated printer was too old and no longer supported. I didn't realize there was an ink pad issue or I wouldn't have purchased the printer. I have never had that issue with other printers.

After having bought my printer in December 2022, now in November 2023, it is displaying an error on the screen that no longer allows me to make copies or print or anything. I called Customer Service with technical support and they only say that you open and close the printer, check if the paper is damaged, turn it off completely, etc. I am very disappointed because the price does not seem to me that it should break down so quickly, in addition to the fact that I do not move it and I do not use it excessively or what would be the problem, I hope you can validate the 1-year warranty that it has for that is close to expiration.

Garbage. Worked good for 1 year of home use. Now you have to spend hours trying to get it to print. Turning off and unplugging, waiting, trying to get connected. Now cannot get scanner to work at all. Starts to scan then stops when first page is part way through. Hours with tech support and tried everything I could find on internet. No luck. Way too much money for one year's worth of use.

The Epson ET-4850 has trouble printing the correct colors, far from your image colors most of the time. Greens and reds are the worst. It is a huge disappointment, Epson Customer service was no help.
