    The Epson Ecotank printer is by far the most impressive printer I have ever had the pleasure of using. It has so many great specs it is unbelievable. For starters, the setup processes for this printer is the simplest and worry free that it could be. The setup guide is easy to follow and I had it setup and ready to go in about 20 minutes. The ink pours right in easy peasy; the printer takes about 10 minutes to charge afterwards, which I think is pretty fast considering the type of ink it uses. Wi-Fi setup was super simple; you just follow the instructions on the mini screen on the face of the printer. It blows my mind that one bottle of ink will print 11,000 pages and that means full, whole page printed. So if you’re only printing small things on a piece of paper you could probably push that number to 16,000 easily. Not only that, it has a low energy efficiency so if you print quite a lot, then you will be saving on printing costs and your ink cost. The printer itself is very structurally sound, although I did notice the paper tray door could be a little sturdier. I also noticed that it didn’t come with an Ethernet cord but most people have those anyways. Everything about this printer is as easy as Sunday morning. Even installing the CD-ROM it came with on the desktop, it basically did it itself. I only had to follow a few on-screen instructions and it was setup within a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone with high capacity printing needs and even those lower on the tech scale because of how easy it was to setup.

    Pros: ecotank inks are definitely easy to refill and the ink lasts a long time. This is a huge plus and one of the reasons we decided on this printer. Cons: Wifi connectivity often drops out for no reason. But the real deal killer is that it completely stopped printing after a little more than 1 year of use. It just streaks ink across the pages now. We've gone through all of the troubleshooting steps, have lots of ink, and have tried 3 "power cleaning" procedures. It just seems like it wasn't built to last.
