Fast and efficient! Love it! It's a bit big but worth the space it takes up.

Good printer. I believe I have bought a few of these. I would recommend to anyone in the market.

The machine is very good. It took much too long for Best Buy to obtain it. I was told online by Best Buy I would get a trade allowance on my existing printer, but when I picked up the new one, Best Buy, at the store, said they do not do this.

Loved the printer when it printed from the computer and phone, however, it left a blank void all the way across the center of the page.

My only complaint with this printer is print speed, black is slow and color is very slow! New to the supertank printers, but looking forward to not spending so much $ on laser cartridges

Our office was using a smaller/older version of the Epson EcoTank and we really liked the design of the refillable ink cartridges. So when we needed a larger printer with a greater capacity we went with this model and it has worked really well. The setup was smooth and the print quality was clear. Some other reviews thought the screen was too small but I thought it was a perfect size. In an initial large print, we did have some ink spillage on the corners of a couple of papers and we had to redo it but I was able to catch it and recorrect it. Also, I noticed in a couple of instances during a double-page print the back side print wasn't straight so it's taking a little time to become familiar with the settings.

Love this printer way faster than the previous printer I had! And lower cost ink. Got a great deal!

Works great for what we need and the liquid ink is an amazing idea

I love this printer. Very fast and efficient especially with the ink. I have't tried all of he features yet but I am sure everything will work out fine.

This is an amazing machine. Doesn't feel as cheap as some of the others and I love the refillable inks. No mess!

Not real happy with my second super tank printer. We bought it in June and it is now August and the scanner makes an awful noise. No longer returnable but this particular printer is definitely a lemon!

I was a little apprehensive when this printer was delivered, the box was a little larger than I expected. Surprisingly, the printer itself, is relatively compact given all its features and fits perfectly. It was packed with ample protective materials and the ink was vacuum sealed. Unpacking and setting up was quite easy. The included instructions are easy to follow. Just make sure to remove all the blue tape. The software downloaded quickly and connected to Wi-Fi with no issue at all. I wasn’t sure how filling the ink tanks would work but the design of the bottles and the “ecotank” opening is very well designed. I try to be environmentally conscience and the zero-cartridge waste is a huge pro for me. It was an easy and mess free step. The ink must go through a “charging” process to get everything ready. Takes less than 10 minutes and you are ready to go. I was currently using another office printer and their ink service, I wasn’t impressed. This is an amazing upgrade! The 4-ish inch touchscreen display is easy to navigate, user friendly and clear. The quality of regular everyday printing is much more crisp and vivid. The print speed is fast. No lag in communication between my PC and the printer, a problem I had been experiencing with my other one. The automated output tray is a cool feature I wasn’t used to. When scanning and copying documents, the results are so close to the original. The colors were spot on! The paper trays hold more than enough for weekly use for me. Fax working as expected. The Epson iPrint app works seamlessly with the printer, you really can print from anywhere. Due to COVID, I am working from home and homeschooling. I much prefer having my own ink available, in my hands when I need it. I didn’t expect to be printing dozens of grade school worksheets and assignments so, this printer came just in time. We printed a few test photos and the quality was just as good as those I purchase from a photo center. I have pictures printed regularly for work and home use so, this is another huge pro for me. The replacement ink prices are very affordable for the amount you are getting. Ink cost is something I always like to know about. The ink levels show virtually no use since setup, I truly believe I won’t have to purchase any ink for quite a long time. The printer was intended for my work office but I’m loving having this at home. Overall, this is an extremely efficient printer that is up to the task for a small business or home office. Aside from the massive ink capacity, thanks to the Ecotank technology, this printer has business oriented features found in much larger and more expensive business machines. It will definitely be a huge boon to a small business owner looking to avoid expensive maintenance plans the come with the traditional business printer. With a larger laser based unit, you have to deal with potential issues regarding multiple paper paths, a fusing unit, an imaging drum, and a toner unit. Replace parts or getting maintenance performed from the first three areas is quite expensive and beyond the general knowledge of an average office worker. A machine like this is much simpler, but still have the features a business user would want. For example, scanning to a server or shared network drive, email, WSD, and even a connected cloud account like Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, or Onedrive. I spent the week (shut in with the current situation) scanning hundreds of papers. The ADF and platen scanning performed flawlessly. When scanning multiple documents that wouldn't work through the ADF (irregular shape or too thick), the UI asks if you want to scan another page or finish. This is really convenient because I can just keep dropping the next document onto the platen and cruise along. In the past, scanning this many documents would have taken half a day, this printer did it in just a few hours. My only issue with the printer is the UI which was clearly not designed with American's in mind. The language is understandable but does not flow. Furthermore, the setup is easy but the UI makes the setup more confusing than it should be. Filling the tanks is crazy easy. I definitely recommend this printer for any office with anywhere from 10-25 users. The size of the 5800 was a little surprising at first, but was not a problem once it was up and running on the desk. Unboxing the printer and setting up was simple, the provided instructions were easy to follow. Connecting to the wireless network was quick and painless. Filling the ink tanks was smooth and mess free. The print quality is great and I would put this up against many color laserjets that I have used in the workplace. Having 2 paper trays is a nice feature for a home office. This has been one of the best all in one printers I have had the chance to use. I would highly recommend this printer to someone in need of a fast, high quality printer that can also copy/scan/fax. The setup of this printer was easy. The only recommendation I would make is having a confirmation that wifi was setup successfully. I attempted wifi setup several times thinking it wasn't connected. I was finally able to confirm by going to connection status. This printer meet the need of a general home user, small business owner and work at home users. The features I enjoy the most is being able to eprint, print directly to the printer's email address and cloud printing. Scanning/copying directly to the scanner bed works better then using the document feeder. When using the document feeder, the document's text is tilted slightly. I haven't been able to resolve that issue. I love the fact this version of the EcoTank is touchscreen and allows you the option to customize icons. Another feature that is helpful is being able to create presets. Out the box, the manufacturer provides two sets of ink. This is my first EcoTank, so I was afraid I was going to splash ink everywhere. This process was seamless. I'm excited about not having to replace ink often. This printer also prints pictures in high quality. I didn't expect the pictures to turn out as nice as they did. This printer allows double sided and multi-sided printing. This EcoTank exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this for any small business owner or telecommute worker. A regular home user may not utilize of all the features this printer has. One thing you wouldn't have to worry about is your ink drying due to none use. I don't have to worry about going to FedEx office for my business and personal needs.
