The EcoTank Pro ET-5800 All-in-One is a great All-In-One-Printer for home and office users that need fast print speeds and high quality prints. The printer was easy to unpack and set-up. The ink installation was quick and easy with no mess. The viewable ink level windows are a nice feature. Having multiple paper trays is also a great feature when printing brochures that require different types of card stock. Since I’m still using Windows 7 because of some older CAD software that I use I was pleased to find that the driver CD included Windows 7 drivers since many new printers do not include support for older versions of Windows. The driver installation was flawless. The wireless configuration detected the printer and completed perfectly. Having a wireless connection is convenient to me because I print to the ET-5800 from several PC’s that are located in multiple locations in our facility. The Epson ET-5800 is the printer. I like this edition of the Ecotank printer from Epson. Unpacking of this printer was easy, I like the fact there was packaging that easily help a person remove the printer out of the box with the handles on the plastic. The directions were easily to follow. Filling the ink was very simple. It wasn’t messy. I like the fact that the ink filled itself upon placing the ink cartridge on the printer. The setup was quick and easy. This printer was swift when I printed multiple copies. The items that I printed had good quality as well. The display is a nice size. I used the scan function to scan some documents that I needed to forward in email. Users can use the scan function through the Epson software or buttons on the actual printer. I like the fact that the finishing tray slides in and out. You can push the button for the tray to slide back in as well. I set the printer up using Wi-Fi. Therefore, I didn’t have to use a USB cable. I can essentially be anywhere in the house and can print. The weight of the printer was the only problem I had. This printer is heavy. I received this printer as beta tester for the Epson ET-5800 printer. There really isn't any complaints when it comes to this printer. You will need a USB cord because one is not provided. Not very heavy my daughter was able to place it where I had my old print. The ink supply is supposed to be for two years but it looks like it will last a lot longer. The Epson ET-5800 with better quality than my old printer. It is very fast I think it printed a coupon in less than a second. The paper tray is adjustable, there are two by the way. It has a huge touch screen which makes it easy for which option you need to choose. When I got this Epson EcoTank Pro ET-5800 All in One Printer in the mail. The first think I thought was gosh this thing in huge. It was packeged very well and so easy to take out of the box. It's packed with a bag around it to help you pull it out. As soon as I got it I set it up to try it out. It was so easy to set up so if you not tech sabby you can still do it. The software is so easy to download. The ink is so easy to fill up, but make sure you put them in the spot there supposed to go. Once I got every thing finished because it does take a few mins to prime the ink. I made my first print. The ink come out so clean. You can tell the paper is we but it doesn't smear. Since having to print out more with schools out this is great. My husband is a big laser printer fan and he loved this. The screen feature is big and easy to see. I would more say this printer is for if you has a small office at home or to use in an office. We do print and scan a lot so it's great for us. I gave it a 4 star because it did seem to get a lot of paper jams. Then I realized there is an arrow and you have to have the paper tray in just right. The paper jams are so easy to fix though. Overall it's a great product for the features it has.

After receiving this printer and unboxing it I have to say I am very impressed. I took the time to read through the quick set up steps and I am glad that I did. Once you fill the tanks with ink you need to “charge” the printer (pipes). I’m not sure if you would’ve been prompted to do this, but it involves holding a button on the screen for five seconds to kick it off. I do like on this new model that you can invert the bottle and just place it into the tank and the ink drains in as opposed to the old versions where you had to squeeze the ink out of the bottles and it was quite messy. This was very easy and clean to set up an install. I was up and printing within about 20 minutes including firmware update and charging the ink. I run a small business out of my home and my wife is a teacher. We are constantly printing worksheets and notes along with scanning in all types of different documents and pictures. This printer has done an amazing job with anything that we’ve thrown at it. It prints quickly and efficiently. The quality is great for everything that I have done. I like especially that the drawing tray automatically expands when you start printing. The printer lives in a different room and is always on but in sleep mode so this is quite convenient that I don’t have to make multiple trips to start printing. Air print works flawlessly and is a wonderful feature! We needed insurance cards printed and I just grabbed them in the app and sent them right to the printer from my phone and within seconds it was there. The speed for multiple pages is impressive and quality holds up over the entire document. I have been using this printer for about one week now. The setup was easy. The instructions were very clear. So far I tested the printing and copying functions both of which work seamless. The speed of copying is pretty impressive. I was also able to easily print a document through my phone. The ink replacement seems fairly straightforward and cost conscious. On arrival, I swapped out my HP Officejet Pro 8200 with the Eco Tank ET-5800. It has been my printer for the past year in my office and although it prints ok there have been more than one issue with instant ink. This Eco Tank is a great printer for any home office user like myself because of how quick it is and of course the conveniennt Eco Tank Inks (no more cartridges!). The box was huge and very heavy when it arrived and I had to wait for help to lift it up onto the printer stand. Once set up I found it really easy to get it going and the Start Here guide walks you through the whole setup and ink fillup. Connecting to our network has been difficult in the past but this was a breeze. We were up and printing rather quickly so I was impressed by that as well. Now to the best part! This printer has drivers from Windows 7 up to Windows 10 so almost anyone will be able to print from it. It is an all in one machine meaning it allows you to print in black and white and color as well being able to scan, copy and fax. This was very important to me because I did not want 3 different machines in my office when you can do it with just one! You can put alot of paper in the fill tray and it is relatively quiet when it prints. I tried printing in black and white, then color and then I printed a photograph and they came out beautifully! I am impressed and hopeful that my Eco Tank will keep printing and the ink supply lasts me a good long time! At first I was a little surprised at the price tag. However, with the cost of ink and how short the cartridges last while photo printing this ECO-Tank was a no brainer. Multiple paper feed options and settings. I have used this for daily printing and set it to print off family memories. While you can tell the difference in the quality of prints the ink will not really go down. It comes with plenty of ink to get you going. 2 Bottles of each color. When first filling it take about a bottle and a half, but you still have 1/2a bottle to top off when it starts to get low. The machine keeps the print heads clean, and occasionally it will need a deep ink clean. This can use a little more ink that normal, but the amount is minimal.

I am a Registered Nurse who provides home care to local seniors. Part of my job includes printing medication lists and care plans and bringing them to my patients. The Epson ET-5800 to print, scan, copy and fax and with my laptop and cellphone; I have a fully functioning office. There are also regular needs for my family to have such a machine in the home. Printing, scanning, faxing. I save a lot on postage by scanning and emailing paperwork. The size of the machine was a little offputting to start with but it is very easy to work with. I was use to using much small printer/scanner fax machines. I am very thankful for the wireless printing and connectivity options available with this machine. The machine prints rather fast. I would highly recommend it to any person working either all or part of their work from home. Great supertank printer, The amount of printing that can be done is far exceeded by the amount of ink used. However this also depends on your settings. I have used this to print photos off and much to my amazement it works just as good as a photo printer. Generally I have used HP products, but this epson has far exceeded my expectations.

This Epson EcoTank ET-5800 printer arrived at the perfect time. Due to COVID19 I’m currently working ½ of my time at work and ½ of my time in the office so due to that I was in need of a home printer. It took me about an hour to set up the printer and connect it to my laptop once I took it out of the box. The printer was kind of heavy once I got it out of the box but it was really easy to unbox. You just have to take off some blue tape and you are basically ready to go. Next, you set up the printer by basically following the steps that come up on the touch screen that is very easy to read. Honestly, it works just like my iPhone works. After that I downloaded the Epson software and utilities that was included in the bundle with the printer. You do have to fill the ink tanks because this printer is different than most because it takes tanks and not cartridges. The tanks are not messy in the least; unlike I thought they would be. After that my laptop and printer were ready to go. I printed a few test pages and was really amazed at the quality. So, after printing numerous pages and scanning a 75-page document really easy (which can be a task at times), I have to say this printer works as great if not better than my printer at work. It does take a great bit of room; however, it is worth it to me because it’s an awesome printer in my opinion. I’m not going to lie; I was a bit skeptical because I haven’t used a tank printer before and thought it would make a total mess. Also, I’m usually a HP type of person; however, I have to say I may switch in the future if the need arises for another printer. This printer is actually great and I would recommend it to other. I started out with a ET-4500. this printer was pretty efficient. Saves a ton on ink! Prints looked excellant. kept giving error of "out of paper". Had to restart spooler often or just shut it down and restart. wasnt very compatible with mailings. Best Buy had excellent customer service, and I made sure when I upgraded to ET-5800 to buy from them again for that reason. Geek squad did an awesome job with assistance in settup for both printers, even though I didn't need to pay extra except for the second printer kept giving an error message that it was out of paper. a second agent suggested to push the paper back further like 1/2 to 3/4 inch beyond the tray. Probably didn't need to buy the 30 day plan, although they helped to make some adjustments that had nothing to do with printer. everything is now working smoothly. This plan was 39.95 for 30 days, and well worth it.

I love this EcoTank All in One Cartridge Free Supertank Printer. The Printer comes with great instructions on how to set it up. I am not good setting up printer, but I was able to in about 2 hours. It took awhile to set it up wireless but after I unplugged my router and plugged it back in, the printer started working without issue. The best feature is that I didn't have to hook it up to my computer or other computers in the office. I love that it prints wireless, making it so much quicker to get things done. I even set it up on my mobile and printed a picture from it. So easy to fill the tanks without getting ink everywhere. I love that it is a scanner, copier, and fax machine all in one. The many uses saves me lots of time and energy since it is all right there.

IDK why no one makes a good printer that holds a full pack of paper per input tray. Otherwise no complaints. EPSONS tank printers save me thousands annually.
