    As a college professor I use a lot of PowerPoints. The school-supplied projector was a real dog, so I bought my own and am very pleased with the color and clarity. Only thing that troubles me is that the fan turns off when you power down. No fan-assisted cool down, so I'm putting a hot projector back into its case at the end of class.

    If you present to small/medium audience, you may need your own projector. I have seen a few professionals rely on devices supplied by the hotel or location where they are presenting with mixed success. Having your own reliable projector, knowing how to use it and knowing it works added to my confidence in front of crowd of 30. It was well worth the cost. Also, I called TECH Support for a question regarding special sequencing of slides and they were excellent.

    This projector was purchased as a replacement unit... What a wonderful surprise when the picture, color and clarity was head and shoulders above the unit it replaced. Great value for the buck.
