If you're a PowerPoint guru or want to go for the biggest PC desktop experience then this projector is for you. It's plenty bright and has a rather crisp image and really makes those graphs and pie charts pop! Setup is a piece of cake. Plug in the power, connect your HDMI cable, and connect it to your laptop or desktop and you're ready to roll with presentation heaven. Just remember, this is not meant to be part of a home theater and you'll more than happy with this projector.

Using this projector with a MacBook with Retina display is super challenging. The resolution can't cut it with the computers resolution thus making text un-readable. Super disappointed with this machine and then the inability to return it after 15....a joke.

The Epson EX3260 is a very good all around projector. I have used it now in a couple of different ways. First, I used it at work for a general presentation and it was very simple to get setup and worked flawlessly while going through my PowerPoint slides. Nothing special about it, the colors were accurate and bright, there was no lag so really no surprises. Next I used it to with my laptop via an HDMI connection and projected it onto a wall. This was a lot of fun. I hadn’t used a project for this before but watching an NBA basketball game on a large wall was excellent. The sound leave a bit to be desired but for a business projector, was perfectly fine. I can work around that by using separate speakers or a sound bar. From a hardware perspective, I do feel that the housing could be just a little thicker to make it feel more stable but then this would add weight. It weighs about 5.5 lbs per the documentation so I assume anything more may make it much less portable. The buttons on the device all feel good and not like they will break easily. They are all flush so won’t get caught on anything. The remote and its buttons are solid with all the same options as the device itself and then some. All around I really like this and using it in various ways. Can’t wait til it’s warm outside and we do some movies for the kids against the garage!

The Epson - EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Projector - White is a lightweight portable projector that was impressive right after opening the box. I first noticed the cute briefcase that the projector was packed into. It is waterproof and comes with an adjustable shoulder strap. I tried connecting the Epson - EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Projector - White to my Dell laptop with its USB cable and its VGA cable. Once I connected the Epson - EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Projector - White to my Dell laptop, installation began of the Epson USB projector drivers. I could not get the computers’ screen to project with the USB cable. Only the computers cursor arrow was projected. Using the VGA cable gave more positive results. My computer screen was projected completely. All Microsoft Office components (Word, Excel, Power point, etc.) are projected clearly with no bleeding of colors or fuzziness of lines. The instructions are simple to read and after a short period of time, I had basic understanding of how to use the remote control and the projector buttons to operate certain functions. The picture is bright, clear, and very sharp. There are controls to make adjustments to the projected image. There is no bleeding of colors or dragging of images, by use of the projector. As a projector, it does create heat, but I do hear an exhaust fan inside. It has plugs for connecting every mainstream video device, to get a variety of usage from it. The volume is decent enough to fill an average size room. There is also a CD for viewing the full manual and registration of the projector. This is a great addition to any mobile audio/video entertainment setup.

Simple Review: This is a great projector for doing little presentations and if you have a similar situation needed than it's a great projector for you. UN-Simple Review: I enjoy getting things included in the box. First getting the cables like VGA and even a carrying case are small addons yes... but it shows the company is going a little above and beyond which I appreciate. I wish they provided an HDMI but small issue on an overall great experience so far. Performance is good for low lit rooms so if you cant darken the area or doing it in a store enviroment than it can be a little bit tricky. Though I'm just using this on a wall most of the time with nothing else and it easily takes care of my needs here. One little gripe I have and it's a small one is about the upside down HDMI port. Some of my HDMI cables are those hard to turn kind and this can be annoying when your trying to plug in your laptop or other source to it. If you are hoping to use this as a home theater projector I would say maybe at night you could get away with it. Don't be expecting any crazy screen quality just good quality which is amazing when you compare how small it is. Overall its a great little portable projector for a buisness need or I would even go as far as a little projector in a bedroom.

I love this projector. I use it for my church to project powerpoints and documents. The pictures are sharp and bright. I was blown away by how good it was for an SVGA projector. It's easily portable and I love it for its practical use. This is what it was designed for and it accomplishes that very well. That being said, I think people should have realistic expectations when it comes to other things that you can use it for. I see alot of people on here who have claimed that it is good for media consumption. I think the occasional video here and there obviously never hurts. However, it is a 800 by 600 resolution. It was not and will never be meant for media consumption or a home theater projector. I think you should be realistic when you are investing that much money into a projector. It does not have great speakers. It can be very grainy with movies. I would not hook this up to my playstation. This is for the business people, teachers, nonprofits, and others who use presentations. I think that this projector accomplishes the task that it was made for wonderfully. Judging it for qualities outside of that is really unfair to Epson especially given that they clearly marketed it for business purposes and not multimedia.

Use an HDMI connection. It turns on and off quickly and works well in a semi-lit room. Good quality projector. Nice and bright, great picture, cooling fan isn't too loud. HOWEVER, the only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because there is no audio output! I figure at this price point it would have good speakers, it's not that great. Also buy all the cords needed (HDMI cables, audio cables, etc).

Projectors have come a long way in the past 10 years or so. Gone is the day of the hot bulbs with low brightness on high priced heavy machines. The Epson EX3260 exemplifies the trend of smaller, lighter and brighter. This projector has low cost but multiple connectivity options, good colors and excellent brightness. However, the first thing to remember about the Epson EX3260 is it is a solid business class projector, it is not designed for home theater. The projector is perfectly competent for presentations and standard videos - the text is clean, bright and readable under most conditions. It is not high definition and you will definitely notice it if you play movies. You have your choice of 5 connectivity options. Yes, 5. There are ports for HDMI, USB, S-video , component and the standard SVGA connector. There is a 6th option for wireless connectivity but you need to purchase the adapter. Included in the box is a USB cable and VGA cable but no HMDI. I tried all three options and all worked . However, there was some judder when playing video through the USB. I probably would only use that option as back up. There is a speaker but it is very weak an only designed for smaller rooms. At the $450 list price, I consider the Epson EX3260a good value and recommend it.

This epson LCD projector is simply that.... a projector that will be great for presentations or school projects. It has all the easy connections that are needed for a quick plug and play display, hdmi/ sound, USB, rca inputs. It does not have audio output but does include a small speaker that is powerful enough to output enough sound for a small conference room or classroom. The speaker definitely will not blow you away and the cooling fan is a little louder than expected. The display is bright even in low light rooms but is not high definition. The clarity of the display disappointed me a bit because you can clearly see the pixelation. It has digital controls for the focus and zoom which is kind of nice and automatic keystone adjustments. If you are looking for a home entertainment projector or gaming projector, I would recommend looking elsewhere as this is made for the office. Overall a good business projector and fits the needs to get a presentation done and is portable with the included carrying case. A bit overpriced in my opinion for what it will be used for, but epson has a good Rep for being business oriented. You can actually get another epson model for less with better resolution which surprised me.

Very good projector for the money. I have a similar projector in my office that never quite bright enough. This one seems to have a lot more brightness and contrast to run while not in total darkness. You probably wouldn’t want this projector for everyday home theatre use, it is meant more for business purposes, but I did think it was pretty good for watching movies thru considering it’s relative low price. Keep in mind this projector has a built in speaker, but you could always route sound from your laptop separately to something like a set of computer speakers or even better to an AMP for a better home theatre experience. The projector comes with a VGA cable, and has an HDMI port on it. I wish it came with an HDMI cable, as HDMI carries both video and sound from a laptop to the projector. It comes with a USB cable to connect your laptop as well. Overall, great projector for the money, so long as your use is primarily for business presentations and something small and portable is needed. Recommended.

I bought this for PowerPoint presentations, but the pixelation was so terrible that the students couldn't read the slides. I returned it, and purchased one of the High Def Epson models. It's worth buying the higher end product. This cheaper model is not worth owning. I seldom write a negative review, but Epson should be ashamed for selling such a poor quality unit. PowerPoint slides are the most basic projected display and this unit could not even do that well.

Great Portable Projector for Business Use

This is a review for the Epson EX3260 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This projector is really great for those who need to have a presentation projector while traveling. It's resolution (800x600) is adequate for spreadsheets and powerpoints. You can also watch videos too. I tried playing some games with it but in my opinion the resolution is too low for any real gaming. For my purposes, this projector has been excellent. It has 3300 lumen brightness which is perfect for office use. It's very portable and even comes with a carrying bag. The projector was a quick off function so its able to instantly turn off when you're done with it and it doesn't need to keep the bulb fan running for several minutes after you turn it off like other projectors. It also comes with everything you need to get started using it. USB cable, VGA cable, remote control w/batteries, and power cable. With the included remote control the projector is very easy to use. You can make adjustments using the remote or directly on the projector itself. I really like that it has USB Plug 'n Play. With that I can plug in a computer via USB then install drivers that are available directly from the projector. After that, my laptop instantly recognises the projector and begins to extend my desktop to it. They've made it really easy, no need for any install CDs. One thing that took me awhile to figure out was that wireless LAN connection is optional and you must buy an additional module to take advantage of this connection method. Picture quality is very good also. The picture is vibrant and the contrast is very good. I also appreciate that the bulb life is so great also. Its up to 10,000 hours while on ECO mode. Gives me some peace of mind that I'll be able to use it for a long time. I would definently recommend this projector!

This is not a home projector. This is specifically built for business purposes where the meeting rooms are bright. The design is sleek and compact, yet it has a bright and colorful output. It comes with pretty much every possible input port that you can connect any device to. This one projects both work related things as well as any entertainment stuff with ease. It has a built-in speaker that is decent or you can connect it to external one. One advantage over other projectors is that it comes with a USB input that can be used to connect the PC or any device that supports it. It comes with a remote control that you can use to power up, control volume, change the source, and some mouse/pointer functions. Overall, this is a very good business projector as well as a side home projector. It is very portable and can easily be carried on trips, if needed.

So far I'm quite impressed with my Epson projector. Setup was quite easy. I was up and running in no time. The quick start guide uses illustrations to make things fairly simple. It comes with a USB & VGA cable. The USB cable will allow you to connect to your computer via the USB port. Doing so was a bit tricky. I had to search online for the drivers. The speed is also not the greatest in USB mode. Trying to watch a video clip was very choppy, and moving the mouse pointer across the screen was choppy as well. Things work better with the VGA cable. It doesn't come with a HDMI cable, but I used one I currently owned. Using the HDMI cable was buttery smooth. I was able to stream both video and audio to the projector using all 3 modes.

The Epson EX3260 SVGA 3LCD Project is a great, compact, portable projector. It is perfect if you do a lot of business presentations, as it can be used in just about any venue. Additionally, the auto-adjustment of the picture tends to get things setup right, with no fuss. The 3300 lumens are more than adequate for making a presentation, even in some of the brightest of conditions. It can quickly connect to a computer, DVD player, or anything else that uses a VGA cable or HDMI cable to connect. It also includes a speaker, so it is really all you need to bring for your presentation. It is quick and easy to setup, ensuring you are not bumbling before a presentation, and can maintain a professional, well-prepared look.

    Epson Projector that doesn’t disappoint

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This was my first time ever owning or using a projector. I was very excited to test out this product because I own my own company and periodically we do meetings where I need to display information for my team and I to review and discuss. I also love to use projectors for personal use at home, whenever we have gatherings. This projector is a great way to be able to view pictures of past and recent memories, trips, parties, or whatever other information you want to share with family. The picture and quality that this projector exudes was impressive. It’s amazing that such a relatively small and lightweight device can display such clear, viewable, quality material. When searching for a projector to purchase, it was important to find one that was portable to be able to travel with, since I travel a lot for work and sometimes have to bring along with me. Another amazing thing that I was really impressed by, was how convenient it was to view on any surface. I currently don’t own a projector screen so I utilized a few different services to test out this product on. We used to this projector on our white walls, a bedroom sheet, and even on a white poster board! All in all, with using these three different surfaces, I had success and I was highly impressed by the clarity and quality that the projector exuded. We watched movies during the daytime and that still didn’t have any negative effect on this powerful projector! During our business meeting, we could clearly hear the volume through the speaker, and the picture was visible in our large conference room. I only have positive remarks and comments for this product. If you are looking to purchase a well-made projector, this is definitely the one! “This is a review for the Epson EX3260 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review."
