This printer was the best printer out for the money. The ink tanks last for a very LONG time, very economical. I have promoted this printer to all my family, friends and anyone in the market for a GOOD printer. VERY, VERY SATISFIED. PLEASE bring back this model ET2550

Bought this printer because I was tired of paying more for replacement cartridges then the cost of the printer itself. I've only had it for a couple months so I can't comment on the ink usage. Seemed to connect very easy, but the second time I tried to print wirelessly it got stuck in the queue. Ended up having to connect the USB cable directly to my computer. After that printed flawlessly. It gets only two stars due to the fact that the wireless print feature should function better.

$300 is more than I planned on spending for a printer. That said, I got tired of spending $ on cartridges. Ink is poured directly into the printer eliminating cartridges. After 2 months, I am satisfied with my purchase. I am a casual user, printing 50 or so pages a week.

This printer replaced a laser printer that used expensive cartridges.
Since it does not use cartridges, all you need to do is buy the ink and fill the "ecotanks" with the different inks. Since I use this for working drafts, print quality is acceptable. Scanning resolution is not great, however.

The printer works fine if all you need is to print; however, if you want to use the scan feature and/or copy feature, each page has to be manually placed on the glass scanner and the scan/copy rate is very slow. If I had known there is no automatic paper feed to scan and copy multiple documents, I most likely would not have bought the unit.

Print quality is very good and print speed on black is great. I did have a problem with the print head that would not resolve with head cleaning, contacted Epson and was sent a new( referb.) printer and sent the damaged one back. Replacement one is working great, would not know it was refurbished.

It awesome because you don't need to worry about buying ink for a long time. The ink bottles you can see so you know when to refill them and last forever. I haven't had any problems with this printer. also like the internet print so I can print from anywhere in the world and send it home to print.

After years of hearing, "We need ink again," I absolutely love this printer. The print quality easily meets all my expectation and it really is a matter of setting it up and forgetting it, which is what I most want from a printer. No hassles at all so far. It's also quiet. Perfect for home use.

This was a spur of the moment purchase. I had been considering replacing my HP printer. I am glad that I did. Set up was a snap. We should save on ink and the hassle of frequent cartridge changes. I can print from all of my devices. I don't know if it gives high end prints but they are good quality.

If you're tired of buying expense ink cartridges, only to have them last for a few months, you've found the right printer. Replacement ink is far less expensive and lasts for up to a year without refilling.

My son was staring college and needed a printer. I was so tired of paying about $80 for a set of HP cartridges. I saw the Epson and did some research. Yes, the printer is more expensive. However, it will be well worth the cost due to the ink tanks. And these refills only cost about $11 each.

Being a full time college student I do nothing but print papers all day long. I was hesitant to spend so much money on this printer but it is seriously amazing. I print from my iPad and iPhone from bed. The ink is incredible. I've printed thousands of pages and my ink tank is still full

I bought this printer because of the ink tank feature. But this is my best printer yet and I've had several. There have been some complaints about the printer not faxing so just send your scan to your computer and fax from there. The print quality is very good and photos are great.

I love Epson printers and being a student in college I was going through ink at an amazing rate. I was told about this printer while I was shopping at Best Buy one day. I have had it for over a month now and have not even made a dent in the ink. Love love this printer. Thank you

Excellent printer for high volume, low cost printing. Does have room for improvement. Would be better with a larger and bottom paper feed tray. Handles photo paper and regular paper well. Has consistent issues with flipping the corners on brochure paper which ruins the printed page. The ecotank continuous ink system works extremely well. High quality generic ink is available in large quantities which almost completely eliminates the cost of ink for high volume at home or in office printing. At about 10,000 pages the printer will refuse to work saying the waste ink tank is full. I was able to clean and reset it myself however, this shouldn't be an issue for a printer that is designed to print 10,000 pages out of the box. The more expensive models might be a better option however the printer driver refuses to print double sided photo quality.

I purchased this printer about 6 months ago and have had no problems at all with it. I've owned nearly every brand of printer and am thrilled to have run across this one. If you're like me; looking for an ink jet printer that won't kill your budget buying replacement ink cartridges these Epson printers are the solution to your problem. Keep in mind that it's not made to print photos. On the other hand, after market inks aren't going to clog up your jets like they do to Cannon, Brother, and some of the others. Another thing I like about it is that it came with enough ink to last me a year, and quite possibly 2 years.
