not a good buy for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this printer did not have the choice of having the prints with borders or borderless and the print results were not good as compared to the artisan 837.

Total junk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every time I go to use it there is a problem. The feed jams, the cartridges need cleaned, the WiFi needs reconnected or something. I can never just print something and be done. I always have to do something. Very irritating.

DO NOT BUY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer has numerous issues. The wifi is very shotty, sometimes can't connect for hours at a time. Software updates are an absolute pain to install. I'd say 1/5 of the time I turn it on and print something, it comes out with missing lines. Now it seems one of the printing heads has died. Epson support is an absolute pain to deal with, they respond to you once every 48 hours I'd say. What a waste of money this printer was. (owned for 4 months)

Wireless connection bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have connected printer and reinstalled. Will not stay connected wirelessly. Geek squad would only help for a fee. Would not recommend.

Nozzles clogged
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good idea with the refillable tanks, but the print nozzles clog easily. I tried to unclog it after watching a video on how to do it, but I couldn't get it unclogged. Even when new, the print quality was just ok. Now? I just put it in the trash. I'm done with this thing.

Printer quality is lacking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after 6 months using the printer quality is bad. Ran cleaning head several times and never got better. After a year warranty is up and I still have a bad printer. One month over warranty and Epson will not help me with the issue. Product is a great idea with ink wells and I never made a late night run to get ink. For that reason I will give it a 1 star

Don't waste your money
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer goes into sleep mode and won't wake up when you try to print. You have to unplug it and plug it back in to wake it up. Then everytime it boots back up you have to press buttons on it to tell it not to charge the ink wells. Don't waste your money, this printer is a piece of junk!

Do not buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson support is not helpful. I have had issues with the printer locking up and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work again. I was told I am out of warranty now and so they will not help. 300.00 down the drain.

Do not like this printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are no printed instructions on how to use this printer and what I find online is not useful. It is also very slow when I can get it to work. Bought it because I liked the concept of ink tanks. The benefits are far outweighed by the drawbacks. HP printers are much better.

Very economical printer with a few quirks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I am very pleased with this printer. My wife and I are both teachers, and there is no printer anywhere even close to this economical when it comes to color ink, even when factoring in the cost of the printer. The catch is, this is basically a 60-80 dollar printer with a huge ink reservoir system. The autofeeder is only on the higher models, there are no fax capabilities, and the speed is so-so. On the plus side, AirPrint from iOS works flawlessly, colors are faithful (although they run on the light side-- choose high quality if you want the colors to pop at all), and the cost of ink and ink replacements is very good. I considered the higher models, but the price gets so high you might be better off looking at a different system. This is a good printer if you plan on doing a decent amount of printing. Tested on Macs and iOS devices.

I was not impressed with this printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer started leaking ink on my pages. Color was poor. It was expensive producing poor color prints. Lacking fax capabilities. Not worth the cost in my opinion.

Great, Great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading one of the reviews, clearly from a HP rep, I had to review this. No this product is not perfect or marketed perfect but it is much needed....with complete cartridges in any brand starting around $40, and a need for at least 4 or more a year...spending a little more up front to last 2 years is worth it and logical and with a two manufacture warranty...no brainer...and the ink starts at 12.99....what more can one ask for?...perfection I guess, just like the end user...lol, maybe in another life.

I love this printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research before buying this printer. I do scrapbooking and I needed a printer that didn’t need ink cartridges replaced all the time. I have a HP Photosmart 7520 printer and I looked into their new ink replacement program, since it costs me $60 every time I had to replace the ink cartridges that didn’t last that long. Unfortunately, I couldn’t participate in the program without purchasing a new HP printer. So I researched the new Epson ET-2550 and was told that it was mostly for home office use and that it wasn’t great with photos. The salesman told me that if I buy it and don’t like it, I could bring it back for a full refund. So I decided to buy it. What did I have to lose? After I got it set up, I printed out a photo from my computer. It was not very good, so I decided I was going to take the printer back the next morning. I had already downloaded the Epson app onto my iPhone, so I decided to try and print a photo from the app. It was so good, I was blown away. I compared it to the identical photos that I had printed from the HP printer in the store, my HP printer at home and my Canon Selphy printer. It was by far the best! I was so happy that I went back to the store to give the salesman my feedback and ended up selling one to another couple who was contemplating purchasing one. And the best thing is how much I am going to save on ink. Most of my pictures are on my phone, so I’ll continue to print them from the app for the best quality.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far it seems to be just fine. Super easy to set-up and connect to WiFi. Just be careful peeling the cap paper/foil off of the ink bottles, you might end up looking like you just voted in an Iraqi election.
