Corporate Greed at it's Worst!!!

Greedy epson thinks they should control your use by making generic ink unrecognizable by the printer. Replaced the black ink in MY printer that was BOUGHT & PAID for with a generic ink cartridge which worked until I downloaded a new update from epson. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER. Ink last for a very very short time and are so expensive! WHICH IS WHY WE BUY GENERIC INK EPSON!!!!

The worst printer I ever bought , Forever paperjam

I knew I should have returned it right away. My mistake that I didn't. My usage is very light just to print utility bills and occasional coupons. I have had many printers in the past and decided to get a All In One. There hasn't been a time that I didn't get a paper jam and had to reprint and waste ink. Also there's no paper try so every time you need to load it. Also you can only about 10 sheets of paper at a time. AVOID THIS ITEM AND SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA ON ANYTHING BUT THIS PRINTER.

What's going on

The cartridges I received said they were empty as soon as I installed them, I only got to print about 30 pages. You Suck

Overpriced

It's a V8 of printer ink, will be returning. I gave 2 stars because I did like the wireless feature.

It’s ok just around the home

My only complaint is that it needs a lot of updating and sometimes restarting to get the wireless connection working. It’s also tricky to get a phone connected

Paper loading is wonky.

I needed a simple cheap printer, but would have preferred one that didn't have a problem every 10th page.

Worth about what I paid for it.

Best Buy didn’t have cartridges. Finally found at Target. Should have bought the Canon I originally wanted.

Too slow and ink hungry

It took forever to print and in one week I already needed ink! I kept it for a week and a half. I am working at home and needed a printer. It might be fine if you're just printing a few things.

Good features ruined by aweful ink consumption

Except that the ink lasts about 30-35 pages at a price of $35. Or about a dollar per page. Absolutely ridiculous. When the ink runs out I will be throwing the printer away and buying an HP. Also, Epson put out some firmware that makes the printer recognize third party ink and will no longer work with cheaper ink. Do not buy.

Other brands of ink cartridges, and ink supplies, are not compatible, and even if described as compatible, may not function properly. From time to time, Epson updates its firmware to ensure the printer operates as designed. Epson provides information about the design of the printer on the box, as well as many other locations, including materials shipped with the printer. Good printer, expensive ink

Do not waste money on Epson, the ink is overprice

The price was around ~50 and you could only print 5 pictures or less than 100 pages and the cartridges ran empty. Definitely trash, go buy Canon or HP, they are much better products IMO

Waste of ink

That’s 80 dollars in 2 months. Even using black and white goes through the other color cartridges. I’ve reached out to epson support team they showed me the online question that other people have the same issue and the printer uses the the color ink so the printer head won’t damage. It’s a real waste of money for ink.

Cheap upfront cost, expensive upkeep

I'm not someone who prints a lot, maybe 5-15 pages a day while working from home. Since the first cartridge replacement I've ordered XL capacity and am still running through the same issue. I've spent double on ink than I did the purchase price in less than a month of owning this device. Save yourself the headache and get an eco brand or something higher quality. It would be one thing if this printer printed high quality pages, but most of the time it's low res and fuzzy.

stay clear of this printer unless you like bad 1s
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.horrible horrible printer brand new out of the box and the color ink cartridges are already stating low after 7 I freaking repeat 7 low quality color prints!!! and now I'm trying to print a black and white barcode receipt and even though it says I can still print in black and white only, it automatically prompts to wanting me to change the color cartridges first so yeah definitely stay clear of this printer and you know what, maybe even this company but I don't have confirmation on that last part!!

Very disappointed

I bought this printer, set it up easily and then found the following issues: 1. It takes forever for the printer to print 2. It is on its third set of ink cartridges so far (less than 40 days old) 3. I called Epson for some troubleshooting help - they were not helpful at all and I couldn't understand the person on the phone. Sad overall experience

DOA - Cheep and junky - Bad customer service

Let me preface this with this - I work in IT and server administration. Technology is fun to me and I'd like to think I'm decently experienced with it. So I am sure this is not User Error I set this up exactly as instructed and when trying to print anything it was all faded and hardly showing up. Then the ink carts started leaking everywhere..... I contacted their support department to give Epson a chance to remedy the situation but they were useless and had no clue. Bad company and poorly made products. 0/10
