Had nothing but trouble with my last printer. This one seems much easier to use. Reliable, so far, and controls no where near as complicated. I told the sales person what I needed and he recommended this model. Looks like he nailed it.

Printer is pretty great for a home printer. Quality isn’t the best, but I use it to print mainly personal and not professional things so I don’t really care that much. It’s quick to react when you send a print command and it’s easy to set up. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.

    Maintenance box

I originally loved this printer. I’ve now had it for 2 years and I don’t do a ton of printing. The cartridges run out pretty quickly and the black cartridges are twice the cost of the color cartridges. If you don’t get the XL and you have to print often you’re going to be running out of ink quickly. Today it started to tell me it doesn’t recognize the maintenance box. Never saw this on a printer before. I googled it and apparently Epson has a reservoir for excess ink supposedly from print head cleaning. However I’ve never done a print head clean and it’s still somehow full and needs replacing before it’ll print. Pretty frustrating considering I use it about once a month on average and it’s having this issue.

Love this printer! small and easy to use. It is quick to print. Not o quick on starting up, reason I gave a 4 star and not 5 star. Takes at least 4-5 minutes to get connected to Wi-Fi. Longer than my other printer

Now that I’ve had this printer for over a month I can give a opinion on this little EPSON all in one printer. I am impressed. It does everything but fax. It automatically print my stuff double sided which saves me both money and paper. I especially love being able to print from my phone. I have a business so I am always doing some kind of printing at the office or at home. I bought it for my home office. It gets the job done and more. It’s user friendly, fast and efficient for my purposes.

Love Epson printers. I bought this one for my daughter to take to college. Works great on her phone, tablet however had to run a door wreck wire from her MacBook to the printer. Other than that printer works flawlessly.

Overall, a nice printer that was very easy to set up. Surprised Epson still provides a CD-ROM rather than a download, but it worked fine. Printer is reasonably fast and quality if good for documents. I prefer a dedicated photo-printer for images.

I was very skeptical about this printer because of the low price. But it has turned out to be just perfect. I owned HP printers for years but they are just ink hogs that take forever to print. And at triple the price. The XP-4100 puts all of those HP printers to shame. When I bought the printer, I also bought a set of ink cartridges because I read that the ones that come with the printer run out of ink right away. But I have had the printer for almost two months and they are still going strong. It was very easy to set up too.

Worked Great Until it Didn't Work at all...

Pros: 1. The setup was simple and software was user-friendly 2. It connected and printed wirelessly almost effortlessly 3. The print quality was great Cons: 1. The ink ran out VERY quickly 2. It won't print at all if 1 color runs out 3. The firmware errored out after only about 75 pages and would not boot. It entered an "Inspection Mode" while I was scanning a document that only allowed it to boot in Japanese. After it booted, it would take me to a screen that said it couldn't recognize the cartridges (even though they were new) in Japanese and wouldn't let you navigate away. Needless to say, after checking every manual, following every online guide, installing the firmware update, and attempting reset options in the Japanese menu, this printer is no longer in my possession. (I threw it in the garbage)

Really great value for the price! I love how this can act as both a scanner and printer without being too bulky. My favorite feature is the wireless printing options, which you can set up through app or wifi, or just email a custom email address assigned to the printer! The set up was a little confusing, but once figured out, I have no issues utilizing this printer day to day.

This printer is very easy to use. The print quality is wonderful. I use it mostly for printing on heat transfers. It's not the fastest, but you won't be disappointed if you purchase.

This printer is great. Very easy to set up. My only issue is that it won't let me print from my google chrome browser. I have to use microsoft edge. it is a little inconvenient but that's fine. It is good for my home purposes. This is my third epson, easy to set up, easy to use, and separate ink cartridges. Some people complained that it uses a lot of ink but I have not found that to be so. And the ink for this is is a bit cheaper than my last one.

So far, I really like this printer. It prints very fast and I have yet to see smudges. The setup was very easy as well so someone who is not very (setup) computer savvy. Hopefully, with more advances in technology, setup features will become much easier for seniors like me who still need to use the computer and printer for work and personal items.
