Printer is compact in size, yet very functional. Was easy to setup via WiFi, and easy to print from an iPad. Would recommend.

I gave this as a gift to my college student and it really gets the job done. It was super easy to set up wirelessly. The out put is fast and clean each time. Doesn't take up a lot of space.

Replaced a 9-year old Epson CX-4600 with the XP-420 a couple months ago. The XP-420 is a little faster and easier to use. Set-up was easy. Print quality is pretty good. Haven't tried copying or scanning. Color printing is at a minimum, so I'll probably get the XL black cartridges but the smaller color cartridges. I set it up for wireless use, but I think I prefer the wired usb connection as sources other than my desktop PC will be little or none. I am happy with this printer.

My old HP printer was a mess. It decided when it wanted to work and print, and when it wanted to be a pain. With tax-free week I decided it was time for an upgrade and to toss the HP printer in the trash. Decided to stay away from HP since the last two printers I had were their brand and complete junk. Did some reviews and decided to buy the Epson XP-420. I needed an all-in-one (print, scan, and copy) for both personal and business use. I also liked the wireless feature for printing things from your iPad/iPhone. So far this printer is wonderful and the price for ink refills is cheaper than the HP. I hope this lasts long and continues to work well.

I've had many, many printers-- HP, Canon, and Brothers in the past. This amazing little Epson is the absolute best printer ever. I had a separate scanner and was reluctant to try this Epson's scanner at first. However, when I did-- wow, the ease and the end product were unbelievable! This printer would get 10 stars if I could give them! The print quality and the ease of printing (including envelopes and cards) is fantastic. I am frankly gaga over this printer -- can you tell?.

I have owned HP printers and this is my first Epson. I am very impressed how well this prints. I like the fact that each color has its own separate cartridge. Seems on all the HP inkjet printers I owned, it always had that tri color cartridge which generally ran out of one color before the rest of the ink colors were used up. What a waste. I like the way the wifi works on this printer and the ease of it working with my computers as well wired. The scanning features are easy to use as well.

This is a great wireless printer that was very easy to set up and configure. The whole family is able to print to it from their tablets and phones without issue. The only problem is that if you have not printed on it for a while and then need to print a page quickly, the warm up time for the printer is about 5 minutes. Keep that in mind if you need something printed quickly. Otherwise a great buy at $49.

Quality of print is great. Easy to install. Small enough to fit almost any where, yet quality is great.

This Epson all in one printer is easy to set up and use. The print quality is great, and, most importantly for me, the cost of replacement ink cartridges is much more reasonable than the comparable HP machine! I'm very pleased with it and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an all in one.

We purchased this printer to finish up some home-made holiday gifts, and were not disappointed. It is an all-in one with a very small footprint. With the built-in (and easy to set up) WiFi, we can leave this one in the spare room and print while sitting on the sofa from an iPad. Photo quality is on par with other similar printers, and set-up was a breeze.
