Horrible printer

I read the reviews and felt confident when buying this printer. When I first set it up there were huge blobs/smears of ink along the edges of pages and sometimes in the middle of pages. I have since changed out the ink cartridge and now when it prints every other line is so blurry you can’t read it or the entire page is so blurry you can’t read it. Highly disappointed with this printer, I’ve had it around 8 months and will be buying a new one very soon. The pictures attached show a whole page that is illegible and one where it is every other line. These were from the same print job and printed one right after the other.
This printer also randomly disconnects from the WiFi and I have to renter the password.

Really small footprint as far printers go. Easy setup and prints well with a number of different media types. Has wireless and AirPrint printing built in. I’ve even used it in my car with a power converter to print docs on the go. Well worth the price on sale

“This is a review for the Epson Expression Home XP-440 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”
The printer has a very sleek design. It is very professional and honestly expensive looking. It arrived rather quickly and was extremely easy to set up. I did have one issue...my printer did not have the power cable in the box as it should have but a 2 minute phone call to customer service had the cable in the mail to me immediately. Customer service was extremely nice and informative and extremely apologetic.
The printer was extremely easy to set up right out of the box. Everything is step by step easy set up and registration. You are not only able to print using wireless where the printer is set up...but it has the option of printing anywhere! You get to set up an email address to the printer that allows you to simply email whatever you want printed to the address from wherever you are and it will be printed waiting on you when you get to the printer!
The printer comes with a package inside the box that has free trial pages of numerous different types of printer paper which was great as well. Over all the printer is top of the line and at a fantastic price!

I’m very pleased with this printer, it’s doesn’t waste precious space unlike other bulky and intrusive printers, and it’s quite easy to room from room if need be! Set up was simple, between physically setting it up and downloading the software onto my laptop it took maybe 20 minutes. You can connect by usb cord (sold separate) or over your WiFi network, which is awesome! I have mine set up in my home office, and have already printed from across the house. Very convenient not needing to be confined to the length of the usb cord! I haven’t printed pictures yet, but all of the documents and PDFs have come out very well, no smudged, very clear, even when i ran very low on ink! The scanner works quite well also.
The ink life span could be better, I would suggest buy a second set to always have on hand.
Printer has manual double sided printing, it doesn’t do it automatically.

I love it. I am very happy with my purchase. This 3 in 1 is a perfect size. It is fast when printing. Easy to install. I love that it has WiFi wireless printing connection. Also that it scans your documents and you can send it to your could accounts.

Produces very nice, crisp prints. Love the wireless feature which allows me to print without having to hook my laptop up to the printer with a cable. Doesn't take up much space and is much quieter than the HP printer it replaced. Also like that it has separate ink tanks for each color which allows me to just replace the color tank that is dry as opposed to putting in a color cartridge with all 3 colors. I believe this will save me money over the course of time

Excellent printer that produces prints fairly quickly. Easy paper feed and compact enough to fit just about anywhere. The setup was a bit confusing and difficult at first, however, once figured out its smooth sailing. It also has Wifi capabilities so the power plug is the only wire in the way. The only other issue faced was the scanner setup. You'll have to download the Epson 2 scanner app so the printer syncs with the computer. The app is very easy to use and works well, plus is stays up to date constantly. Took a gamble and it was worth it over the HP I had.

Received this printer today took out of box read instructions for set up connected right away to WiFi product registration was a breeze. The only problem I have had is color splotches or missing spaces on words but it is a cheap printer. So I will not complain about that even though it was cheap the feel is good quality at least to me feels light and compact the printing speed is awesome. The wifi printing is the bomb really fast faster than my brother printer that I replaced with this that one was $100 it did last a while but this new one is a good competition. The ink cartridges feel a little flimsy upon installation hopefully it works with my next cartridge I got an LD high capacity cartridge so I hope to God that works because that would be amazing the LD XL cartridges are cheap so if that works then I will be a happy man

Printer was very easy to install. I needed a color printer for my son to use for his school project. I already have a b&w laser printer I use for my home office. Because the printer is wireless, I just put it away in the closet when he’s not using for school. It’s very handy and affordable.

I had the previous model of this Epson printer. The main reason I bought this printer was the cost of the ink. The printer works fine and when set up correctly the photo prints are pretty good. It also has a small footprint which always helps. Wireless set up is not too bad.

Bought this to replace the 420 which is almost identical but of course takes different ink! The 420 was a pita from day 1 and never worked right. I only had it for a year and a half and never printed much on it. It was hit or miss if my phone could connect w it. I unpacked the new 440 and unplugged the 420. Plugged in the 440 and hit the button on top of my modem. I already had epson app on my phone and was printing off my phone in minutes. I havent had a chance to pair it up with my laptop yet. The nice thing about this printer is the cartridges are all seperate. You don't have to replace the whole Tri-cartridge just because the magenta is out, like on some other brands. What a scam that is!I did buy the warranty with this because the 420 was so bad...lesson learned. This is a great printer for well under $100. Its not huge and has independant inks. Get the warranty its only $10.

Wanted to replace an all in one that included a fax. This one is smaller (with no fax) but does a good job for a basic printer. No problems with setting it up. Mobile devices don’t have any problem finding the WiFi

I just recently started a business and I needed just a small color printer, nothing too big as most everything is done online. This is inexpensive but the quality is great. Easy set up, wireless and scans great.

I’ve always used HP and I got this printer after research. It’s a great printer and works well for scanning, printing, and copying. User friendly and now that I’ve used Epson, I’m sticking with them.
