Ink is expensive

Ink cartridges that come with only are partially full and are just for charging the printer and printing a few prints. You will need to buy a set of 6 cartridges that will cost you an additional $66 for standard cartridges or $105 for the larger XL cartridges and Best Buy doesn’t even sell the cartridges. Come on Epson put the extra $2 worth of ink in the cartridges to begin with. I ended up returning the printer after a week of use.

I especially wanted another one that would print great photos as well as every day printing. I selected this printer because it sounded like it offered everything we were looking for. And so far it hasn’t disappointed. Wireless wasn’t too difficult to contact to 2 laptops, iPads and iPhones. And yes, it prints great photos. Very happy with this choice!

Great Printer for the Price

Scanning and copying work effortlessly as well. I have not yet set it up for wireless capabilities or for phone use, but the USB hook up works for me at the moment!

Epson XP-970 excellent for photos

The color and sharpness are excellent and the printer has adjustments to optimize the results. Although I have not yet used it, the ability to print 11 x 17 in. paper is another feature that attracted me to that model.

I thought i researched this printer thoroughly but maybe not...the printer isn't too expensive but the ink is and gets used up very quickly and i haven't even done a lot of printing. One annoying thing is you can only load one sheet of paper at a time, that's ridiculous. It does make a great print but for multiple print projects it may be cheaper to outsource.

Purchased the Epson Expression photo XP-70 printer to replace my 10-year old Epson printer. The quality of print with the XP-970 printer is the same, if not better, than my old printer. This one has a lot more features that I have yet to explore. The set up was easy and I am very happy with this purchase so far and have not experienced any problems to date. I did watch a few YouTube videos on the various printers available and decided against the liquid ink cartridges because the videos clearly showed a difference in the quality of print, which is why I chose this model.

Great for printing pictures at home

You will go through some ink but the results are awesome. The 277 ink cartridges aren’t carried in any of my local stores so I have to order online. Completely satisfied, would be 5 stars if it was a little easier on ink.

Only thing, Best Buy doesn’t have any of the ink cartridges for sale, They have the one blue color, but from other reviews around the net on this printer is that the ink is hard to find.
