    Great copy machine but expensive cost to replenish the ink cartridges. You can only use Epson ink.

    Not a very good printer for art prints. There are print lines on everything and I'm using Epson premium paper with the correct paper settings so there shouldnt be any print lines.

    It is meant for photo paper, but the manual said that heat transfer paper could be used. However, it did not print well on transfer paper.

    Printer bricked during a firmware update. I shipped it back to Epson and got a refurbished one. Quality is great when it works but printing does take a while at times.

    worst printer ever. bought one, returned it because it didn't work. replacement is slow. loud. won't print black and white without the color ink full. low quality print compared to my canon.

    This printer is absolute trash! Want to print 11x17 sheets? Expect to feed each individual sheet in one sheet at a time. Running low on ink? Expect to get a warning when it is completely gone and it cancels your prints. This is the worst printer I have ever owned. I was really hoping Epson would come through with a small compact 11x17 printer, but this is horrible.

    Opened the box and unpacked the printer. Set it up on my desk and tried to download software. NO GO. Bought a USB cable to hardwire it. The printer does not accept a standard USB. Tried to set it up again wireless, it says constantly "Remove all packing materials" and won't get past that. The most frustrating product I have ever purchased. Returning to store!

    LCD Screen Not Working Had to Return

    Unfortunately did not get a chance to use this printer. Was shipped directly to me, set it up, and LCD screen would not display anything. The screen was blank. Had to return to store for refund. Tried to reorder another one while at the store but it was out of stock. Very disappointing as I really wanted this printer!

    Great pictures, smooth operation!

    I've printed quite a few pictures with this excellent printer and both me and my wife are very pleased with the quality. Our desks are now adorned with selfies from our travels that we printed with ease by sending the pictures from our phones straight to the printer. Although it took some time to unbox, unwrap, unstick, assemble, set up, and align, the flow of use afterward has been pretty easy. Setting up wifi was easy, the QR code to set up with our iPhones was easy, and navigation on the LCD is intuitive, responsive, and smooth. For a flatbed, the low-dpi scanning was surprisingly quick, actually great quality, and created a relatively small PDF. The 1200 dpi--which is crazy high--was quite a bit slower but the quality is exceptional. Other features that are quite exciting: print-on-CD capability, "Quiet" mode (prints slower but quieter), auto-retractable display and output trays, photo collage (with pics from a memory stick), and basic greeting cards. Not too thrilled that I now have to replace a "Maintenance Box" in additional to ink cartridges, but at least the life span of all the consumables seems to be reasonable enough, and it did at least come with one new Maintenance Box. Overall quite pleased and would have bought one for myself, even though This is a review for the Epson Expression Photo XP-970 Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    I can’t review the actual item because it arrived damaged. My husband requested the return label twice by phone, but didn’t receive it either time. We brought it to the store where the employees were extremely friendly and returned the item. Unfortunately, we couldn’t exchange it because that printer was sold out again.

    The Epson Expression Photo Printer is easily an amazing product. It's the best quality from a printer I have experienced yet. The design and function of this printer is very detailed and versatile. The setup was pretty much explanatory and clearly outlined in the instructions so its easy to assemble and configure! The only thing to note is to be cautious when installing the ink cartridges as some ink can get on your fingers, but it is avoidable. Upon setup the printer conducts a test on paper with the inks that you have to evaluate which sample is best to ensure maximum quality. The printer functions are also easy to access due ro the screen being adjustable for viewing with ease. The tray automatically slides itself out to catch printed paper, a plus! These advanced functions make printing so easy and quick its no joke. The number of functions is also outstanding! These include photo sized photo printing (a separate photo sized photo load tray), document printing, document scanning, etc. Very impressed and would have purchased if not tested!!! This is a review for Epson Expression Photo XP-970 that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review

    I am very satisfied with the Epson XP 970 printer. Unboxing and setting up was very easy, from box to use was less than 45 minutes. First use i did ensure the test pages process was complete. So that my printing experience would go smooth. I have used it atleast 12-15 times in the last 2 weeks. I can say i am very pleased with the print, copy and scanning process. The final results come out very clean and professional looking. I am confident I can finish printing alot of my photos from home, instead of having them printed elsewhere. It prints great quality photos and documents. It is reliable and i haven't had any issues on any print jobs. I have not yet used all settings as far as printing from my phone, but i look forward to doing so. The size of the printer itself is great, especially for use at home. When not using we can store in comfortably on shelf. I would recommend this printer for anyone that use at home or office since its capable of multiple functions and easy to use.     Beautiful Vibrant Colorful Pictures

    When this product was delivered, I was immediately impressed with the size and style of the Printer/Copier/ All-in-one device. I had no issues unpacking it and set up was simple and straightforward. The width of the device was impressive and made for easy printing of larger photos. As for the quality of copies and ease of use, After initial set up, I quickly connected the device to my computer and was off to test it. I tried the scanner first and it scanned my photos perfectly to my computer. Then i tried the photo printing option, the photos came out with beautiful, vibrant color, just like you were looking directly at the scene you took the picture of. Next I tried the copier feature and those also came out quickly and perfect with no issues. In summary, All of the functions and features of this product work as they should and work very efficiently. The photos come out beautiful colorful and vibrant. The copier makes clear quick and effortless copies The scanner feature sends documents and photos straight to me computer with ease. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality all-in-one photo printer.
