Epson is by far the best photo quality printer around. This us the 8th epson printer I have bought. I still have the Expression 830. till works but I felt I needed an upgrade to the latest. One bad thing about the 860. Noone carries ink locally. So has to be ordered online which makes you to have back up as it takes a week to get ink.

I picked it because you can load photo paper and regular at the same time. I haven't done enough printing to see if I'm saving on print cartridges. It doesn't start printing right away on Wifi. Takes longer than expected to start printing. Otherwise I like the printer.

Easy to set up and use. Works great with my Mac book pro. A must to buy!

Great Printer, multi-function and great print quality.

As a 70 yr. old woman I hate not getting directions of much help. I had to have my DIL come over and get it set up for me but it's not working right as when I print something it continues to run out all the paper in the machine. I have no idea how to fax (no problem, don't see the need for it) and have yet to print out a picture... I'm sure I will get there eventually...

If you do not use on a regular basis, you must clean the heads.

Wanted a replacement for a damaged artisan 810, and this is the latest greatest.

I publish two magazines and have to scan companies' business cards and ad copy and the quality is great.

The Epson XP-860 is the best daily/photo printer on the market for the mid-price market.

Another great Epson Printer. Great to print CDs & DVDs. I just love this one!

I have had many EPSON printers and this one is just what I wanted

I bought this Epson XP-860 printer with expectations of beautiful photos. Yes, this printer has great photos, nice paper handling including a rear slot that I used for envelopes and photo paper. Yes, this printer scans nicely and produces pdf files. What's not to like about a great printer with great features? Start with a clogged print head. After five weeks this printer put out a photo with streaks (clogged ink jets). I did print head cleaning over and over, then had to install new ink cartridges because the ink was used for cleaning. Some of the ink jets would clear then clog again. More cleaning and adding more ink cartridges. When the printer told me I needed to install ANOTHER FOUR new cartridges, because I had used the ink (for cleaning) on the cartridges I had just installed, I gave up and returned the printer to the store. Yes, I was using genuine Epson cartridges.

I have bought 3 of these All-In-One Epson XP Wireless Photo Copiers. I bought the Epson XP-820, and (2) of the Epson XP-860's for EACH one of my 3 children for when they are in school, from Best Buy. I LOVE these Photo copiers, and so do my children. They are easy to setup and use. ALSO THE EPSON TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM, NO MATTER WHO YOU SPEAK TO, KNOWS THEIR STUFF ABOUT THE PHOTO COPIER, ARE SOO VERY NICE, PATIENT, AND HELPFUL. THEY DO NOT TRY AND RUSH YOU OFF THE PHONE WHENEVER YOU CALL TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT THESE PHOTO COPIERS, NOR DO THEY MIND WALKING YOU, STEP-BY-STEP THRU THE SEtUP PROCESS, SINCE THEIR PAPER INSTRUCTIONS ARE VERY BASIC. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT ABOUT A COMPANY WITH THEIR PRODUCTS!!

Owned many Epson printers over the years. Worst ink hog I ever owned. Shame on epson

Both electronics and mechanicals failed in less than 5 months. When it did work it was extremely slow in booting up, printing, and shutting down. Manufacturer offered to replace unit with a refurbished one, guaranteed for only 7 months. Tech lack-of-help is Phiippine-based as is Customer non-service. I finally got a US Customer Relations person who did not care about customers and spoke in a terrible accent. I will take advantage of Best Buy extended warranty and trade the replacement in for a different brand.
