Photography is a hobby I love to do. Finding the right camera, stands, film or memory cards are part of the main things to have, but one thing that also must be of top notch quality is the printer that is being used to print the photos. Many manufacturers have produced some good and not so good printers. Epson and canon are usually my two printers of choice. With the XP-6000 compared to other printers I have to say that photo quality and speed of this printer are amazing. One of the features I love to use with the Xp-6000 is being able to use the sd card out of the camera and print straight from the printer without using a pc/mac to do so. Advertised speeds for 4x6 is 15 seconds, but this is all up to the quality and format of the picture. On average I was able to print a 4x6 high quality picture in about 1 1\2 to 2 min. Yes this can be time consuming when in a hurry, but then again the faster speeds would not produce a crisp and high detailed photo print. Overall using the XP-6000 as a photo printer was in my opinion a 4 out of 5 stars. Again this printer is not just for photo printing but is also great printer for everyday printing. Along with photos I used and tested the all the features and options that the XP-6000 had to offer as far as everyday printing. Compared to another Epson printer I have this one was by far better in speed, quality, and amount of options available to choose from. As for the speed of the printer. I did see that it was very close to what is being advertised on what the printer is able to do. To get the results I printed a plain type page with no color and no grey shading. I told the printer to print 15 pages. While printing I timed to see if it was able to print all 15 in under a minute. I was shocked that within the minute mark the printer had printed 14 pages and was in process of printing the last of the 15 pages. When the same test was done using color fonts and low quality photos the printer was able to produce just under 9 pages in one minute. Overall printing in black and white seems to be very fast and with no loss in font quality. Another feature I use is cloud printing from my iphone while I am at work. Being able to create documents on the go or even capturing that amazing photo and being able to print while away from the printer is a very great feature to have on any printer. All in all I have to say that I was very satisfied with the XP-6000 and what Epson had to offer with this printer. Due to some slower printing when wanting high end quality photos on the fly was a little of a let down. Due to this I would have to say that out of 5 stars this would make me give it a 4. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

The Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 is the best all in one printers I have used yet. This printer is small yet very powerful. Setting up the printer is simple and doesn’t take that long. After the printer is finished with the set up I recommend also updating the firmware if needed. After setting up the printer, downloading the epson apps makes printing/scanning from your phone, tablet and computer so much easier plus it gives you much more printing options. Setting up the wireless connection was a breeze and I have not encountered any problems yet with the connection between all devices I own (phone, tablet, laptop). If you choose you can also download the included software to your computer if you decide to print/scan using this option. I really enjoy having freedom with this printer because it is wireless and I can print anywhere from in my home. This printer has a screen on the outside where you can manually print/scan and change settings. I only wish that the screen on the printer was also touch screen in addition to the buttons that are there to adjust settings. This printer is excellent at printing out crisp documents and high quality sharp photos. The image on device I was printing from compared to the printed image color is very similar which is why Epson printers are the best for color accuracy and superior photo quality. With this printer there are separate trays for different types of print jobs. Basic Paper, photo, cd/dvd printing each have there own tray to print from which makes this printer even easier to manage. I recommend using epson paper to get the best quality photos and documents possible. Scanning is another important feature that this printer also includes. It’s very easy to scan and preview your document before printing or saving to your device. When scanning the printed image is very crisp and the color is accurate. This high quality printer went above and beyond my expectations. It’s easy to use yet print/scans perfectly. The amount of settings for printing/scanning is the right amount and not overwhelming/confusing. I would recommend this all in one printer for anyone that wants a printer that is High Quality, Small, Easy to Use, & Fast at Printing. Excellent Printer with a Small Footprint

The Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printer (print, scan, copy - $149) is the third Epson printer I’ve owned and I must say that I am very happy with it. Out of the box, my first impression is that it is a smaller unit than I expected. At approximately 20x14x6”, it is smaller than most printers I’ve used, but not so much so that it looks it couldn’t handle the job. Inside the printer I found a lot of capabilities usually found in higher-priced units. A surprisingly large and clear (for a small printer) 2.4in color LCD, a dedicated CD/DVD tray, duplex printing capability and very fast printing (my observations are about 16ppm for black, 10ppm for color pages and about 20s for a 4x6 color photo). Set up was easy and didn’t take as long as some previous units I’ve owned from other manufacturers. I was able to set up the unit and connect to my home network in about 10min. Scanning was easy and produced crisp scans, but is limited to 8.5x11” originals. Epson offers direct connect printing, flash drive, “Wi-Fi Direct”, near-field, cloud and networked printing options that make it easy to meet your specific needs and print your files from nearly everywhere. My family and I have been using this unit for a while now, and we’re really impressed with its performance (my wife has had poor wireless connectivity in her craft room in the past, but this unit has been rock-solid and lets her easily print photos and other items for her craft projects). She particularly likes the ability to print “picture packages” and edit through the printer. I’m not a “spec guy” by any means, so I’m not going to quote a lot of numbers (you can get those anywhere, anyway), but as far as I’m concerned, this printer puts out clear, sharp pages and it puts them out fast. If you are looking for something a little more useful than the cheap “all-in-one’s” you see everywhere, do yourself a favor and check this unit out. This is the first Epson printer that I have ever owned and so far, I'm really liking it. Setting this printer up was very easy; after turning the printer on, the printer finished helping me set up the printer by showing me on the small screen that is in front of the printer how to install the ink cartridges. I was pretty impressed with how easy this printer was to connect it to my wireless Wi-Fi. I also like where the paper trays are located and all the trays that are available to use on this printer. The design of this printer is absolutely amazing as well. I have a small home office and this printer is able to be in my office without taking a lot of space. The major thing that helps this printer not take up a lot of space is the fact that this printer was made to be a compact printer. All the trays are behind the main part of the printer so all you have to do is lift the top part of that section and pull down the bottom part of that section and that is where the trays are located. There also is a USB port where I am able to connect my phone and print off pictures. As far as the printing goes, it prints really fast and doesn't stall at all. Last night, my daughter needed a couple of pages printed for her English class really quick and I was able to print them out for her in no time. I love the fact that I am able to put a lot of paper into the paper tray for whenever I need to print. Something else that I discovered was the fact that I can actually push a button on the printer itself to get the printer to print quieter than it usually does. I honestly didn't even know that a printer could actually do that; this printer is absolutely amazing!

Man, I really wanted to like this printer. I've always had great experiences with Epson printers for my photography in both high school and college and finally decided to pick one up myself to showcase some of my own work. In my experience Epson has always had superior color management over any other system. I guess I'll start with the Pros; The main thing is the scanner is the highest resolution scanner in any all-in-one that I could find, and it scans very sharp images of photo prints (I have yet to master the art of scanning 35mm negatives). Also, when it works, the printer is O.K. Ever since I first booted it up and connected it I've had this horrible banding on everything I print. I've troubleshooted everything, and ran every diagnostic about 5 times each and still have the same issue. I turned the default "High Speed" setting off which helped a bunch (why that's a default, God only knows), but the banding is still there - ESPECIALLY in the shadows/blacks. I have now wasted a full 50pc Epson Luster paper set which is not cheap, as well as most of the ink just trying to figure out how in the world to get this banding to stop but I think I either have a defective unit, or this product does NOT live up to the Epson name. Very disappointed because I really wanted to love this thing...

I picked this up to make a photo collage for my granddaughter's first Christmas. I compared some reviews of various printers plus my own past experience with Epson, Canon and HP printers. The photos printed beautifully! Everyone was surprised that I printed them from home. While the quality is outstanding, the control panel and paper tray set up on the front could be improved! There are 3 sliding trays, not that clearly marked. The only way to access them is to flip up the control panel and if you're someone who doesn't really read instructions then loading paper may be confusing out of the box. I wish the LED display was touchscreen but that feature is available on higher end models. Once the paper is loaded the control panel folds down and it is quite compact. There is a rear paper tray that flips out if you prefer. Once the ink cartridges are warmed up and primed (it takes a couple minutes if you don't use the printer often) the printing is quick. The ink dries very quickly! It is fairly quiet during print operations. Scanning is also easy and of good quality! I have connected it to my wifi network but have not tried printing from outside the home. Inside my home network, all my devices can find and print to the Epson XP-6000. My advice is to definitely use Epson photo papers. I tried HP and the ink puddled and did not dry well. B&W text came out fine on generic papers.

I bought this to replace a printer that crapped out after an Epson update that forced me to use Epson cartridges. The primary purpose was to print DVDs but occasionally it would be nice to print a return shipping label or word document. Unfortunately, every time I turn it on, I have to spend an hour going through print head alignment and a myriad of other options because the "OFFICIAL EPSON CARTRIDGES" won't work. Huge waste of my time and my money. The quality of the DVDs is good once you get to the point where you can print but text (which should come naturally) is total crap. This printer comes with a dual black cartridge but one side doesn't want to play nice. Very disappointed. I couldn't recommend this in good conscience to anyone who needs to be able to quickly send a document to the printer. The attached image is my 4th attempt at a shipping label after an hour of "try this". Terrible waste.

This is my first experience using an Epson printer. So far I liked it very much. It is easy to set up. Installation was a breeze. I liked how you can use it with a USB cable(Not included) or with WiFi. I found the WiFi print set up was very easy. It prints very quietly. The overall size is nice. It isn't very bulky so it saves space on a shelf or desk. It offers an SD card slot or USB slot for when wanting to print pictures. The printer installation software also offers a feature that allows you to connect your phone or tablet to quick printing. I liked that the inks are individual. So you can replace the colors you need. It also offers a photo black. The printer comes with everything you need to set it up in the box. It also has a hibernation mode so it shuts down after 10 minutes. The display screen is a decent size as are the function buttons on the front of the printer. It has a clamshell design so you will need to open it to add paper and to pull out the paper catch print tray. It offers 2 print trays. One for photos which can be sized for the photo paper you are using and the second tray is for legal paper or standard printer paper. The only cons I have found so far are the cord being a bit short and the way the paper catch tray is set up. Nothing too major you will need to lift the faceplate to pull out the catch tray but again nothing too annoying. All in all the printer has fit my needs. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that I wish the output tray could open automatically / I could turn the printer on remotely. I had been procrastinating on purchasing a printer for a while, as I knew AirPrint was something I wanted to be standard by the time I updated. It came down to either this or another printer from a different brand, but ultimately due to the ability to print photos this easily won. Most printers also have the ability to be registered with their own email as well, so having all these options and ease of print has been really great. I *love* printers that can do three things, this does all of the following: 1) It AirPrints (it is 2019 all printers should have this capability to print from a cellphone) then 2) printing double-sided without having to manually flip the paper & lastly 3) the paper tray being flat and hidden within the printer so that it does not collect dust / bend over time (some printers have the paper stick out vertically from the back, etc). For $50 this was a great purchase and I look forward to using it until it dies.

I like this Epson XP-6000 all in one printer so much. Setup was very quick and easy. This printer doesn’t take a lot of space which is great. The five colors premium ink system provides vibrant image results. I love this printer so much because it has dual loading trays for separating document and photo paper. It is very easy to connect with the WiFi. This printer has so many different uses. I like the fact that I can print straight from my phone. It works great with my iPhone and my iPad.Also this printer has great print quality for photos and documents and accepts a variety of paper types and sizes. It prints so fast and the prints are vivid. Also this printer automatically print two sided documents and scan documents to the computer or directly to email. The scanner works excellent. I scanned so many documents and they scanned in easily. I like the quality and design of this printer. It is made very well and it is very durable. This printer offers convenient and high quality wireless printing. This is a review for the Epson Expression premium XP -6000 Small-In-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I love that it is lightweight and wireless. I don't have a lot of equipment set up in my office area so there is no unnecessary clutter with extra cords. It prints efficiently and quickly and with minimal noise. I love how it gives you the option on the website to download the drivers and software for the installation because my laptop does not have a disk drive. The only downfall that this printer has from what I can see is it needs a touch screen. I spent the better part of 10 minutes punching in the code to my Wi-Fi like I was using an old style cell phone . It took an unnecessarily long time and I feel like technology has advanced enough that everything should have a touch screen. Other than that, it prints beautifully and easily with vibrant colors. With having simple setup, simple installation, and an idiot proof user guide, this printer is an absolute dream at a reasonable price for the ordinary at-home user.

If I was still within the return period I would most definitely return this printer. It has been by far the most frustrating printer I have ever purchased or even used for that matter. The printer does not "open" automatically and considering that this is a wireless printer it would be very important for the printer to open and function automatically. I often is working and subsequently printing from various rooms in my house and having to always get up and check to make sure the door is open and the print tray is extended is rather cumbersome, considering that other printers on the market do function in that way. Typically I take time to research a product, especially technology related, prior to making a purchase, however I purchased this printer spur of the moment and I truly regret it. Additionally, in the month that I have owned the printer I have had to realign and clean the print heads twice. This printer had been a head ache to say the least. Seriously, consider other products.

I installed everything per their directions - and had big issues. Contacted them and had a response from an "expert" telling me to do everything I'd already done "and this will take care of the problem." Printer is on a network - and I eventually got it to run SIMPLE jobs - sometimes. The scanner only works thru its own USB port. The power cord tends to come loose. When I try to troubleshoot using their system, it tells me to make sure it's connected via a USB cable - and that it doesn't work for network printers. I go way back with Epson, to MX-100 days, but their 21st century products ought to have a warning sheet. Had good performance from Canon, HP, and others - but I don't know whether to slam the printer, the "help" support, or both. As noted, don't buy this unless you want a tech challenge on a frequent basis.

After researching the various printers out on the market, I went with this model because it provided a lot of options for printing Art, especially on glossy photo paper. I like the dedicated black for photo printing. Wireless is good, but if you have bad internet I would recommend using the USB. Also if printing wireless and the printer has been on for a long time, it won't send the signal to the printer. I have to restart the printer and then it will print. Not sure if the printer, internet, or computer. But something to keep in mind. My intention with this printer is to use for my Art studio and office related stuff. I love the fact that the Scanner is bigger than most scanner you get in all in one unit. I love to sketch on 9 x 12 paper and I scan in whole page for once. It does scan and print fast too. Photo prints take a bit longer, but still pretty fast compare to past printers I have had.

The Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 wireless inkjet printer is the best printer I have owned to date. It was packaged very well so as not to be damaged in shipping ( I have received a damaged printer before). The set up and instructions were very easy as were installing the ink cartridges. There are five cartridges. I wanted a printer that I could use wirelessly to be able to print from my kindle fire as well as my android phone and it does the job. The little LCD screen and menu are also very easy to use. There is a slot for a memory card which will be helpful for my photos. As far as the quality of the print, it is excellent! I am very happy to be able to print my photos at home. The printer is quiet and a nice size that does not take up a lot of space. The scanner and copier work nice and are easy to use. I am very happy with this printer so far! Highly recommend. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I have been a Canon user for many years, this is my first Epson Printer purchase. The setup is easy it connected to my WIFI instantly. The scanner is as good as one can expect for an all in one. If photo scanning is a priority I highly recommend a dedicated version. Now for the printer, I am comparing output to my four year old Canon and prefer the Canon. Detail is only average., not stand out in any way. I also have an issue with INK usage, this thing really drinks ink compared to my Canon. Once I finished the starter inks I purchased the XL carts. and they are going fast. I will continue to recommend (and use)the Canon printers over this Epson model. If print quality is a priority stick to a dedicated printer, the more you add to the box the lower each feature quality becomes.

Got this Epson Expression XP-6000 to try and I have to say I am very impressed. The printer is nice and slim and has a very modern sleek design to it . Setup went very smooth for me, and I was up and running in no time. I also set mine up to print on WiFi network as we do a lot of printing from other computers, tablets and phones. The WiFi printing was quick and easy to do. The prints on this XP-6000 are quick and very vivid. I also scanned some documents and photos and those scanned in easily and the prints came out wonderful. You can even print on photo paper as well on this printer. The best part to me is how slim and compact it is. Also its super simple to use and has a nice color touch screen to control the prints. So far I am very impressed, and it as for sure exceeded my expectations. “This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6000 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

I have owned/used Epson products for over 20 years and this new printer does not disappoint. It is fast, relatively quiet and has great resolution. I also love the scanner. I have had it for about 3 weeks now. Setup was very easy and I did it myself, including the wireless setup. Yes, it doesn't come with a USB cord for a wired connection but I think that is OK as most people will be using wireless or they already have a cord. My only negative (slightly) comment is that the documents do not state if the supplied ink cartridges are full-capacity types or not. I called Epson and they said they are startup cartridges, ie, not full capacity.

As with purchasing a new computer package, the associate suggested this new printer. Since I only print small documents, papers, concert tickets etc. The printer is quite unique with three trays of paper for regular size, photo prints, and pictures. Its quite easy to use although there is no guide with it. However all of the information needed is available online through Epson. The best is you can adjust the amount of ink, quality and texture you use. The disadvantage is that there's 5 ink cartridges and ink is expensive. Other than that its much better than my old gigantic heavy Dell.

To call it an all in one is misleading as it does not fax. There is no setting for it and no keypad either. However that being said, I was not in the market to fax anyway. The printer is small and compact and it took a little bit to set up as an air printer because it needs a strong wi-fi signal. The more difficult part is making sure the paper is not pushed too far back and remembering every time that you have to pull out the middle tray each time you want to print otherwise you have to open and close every time. It prints very well and I do like it overall.
