Since I am now working from home, now it was time to start my yearly search for a new printer.
My fist word of advice is if you own an Epson printer, invest in some Epson paper. It will make a huge difference.
Setup with this printer was not as easy as I had hoped.
I was connected quicker to my phone then I was to my Macbook.
Quick quality is nice, but that will be determined more fully down the road. Most printers out of the box do very well initially.
I would like to say that I love this printer, but I know when the time comes around to have to purchase ink, I will be tempted
to buy another new one.
I would love to be able to stick with the same printer for several years, but when I can purchase a brand new printer for around the price of ink cartridges, I usually buy the new printer.
The old one gets donated to a family member or a local Goodwill store.

Bought this printer because it has independent cartridges for each color, and for black. I almost only print in black.
After about 40 pages printed, black cartridge was empty. I replaced it. 3 printed pages later, all the colors went from half full, to empty. When empty, it stops printing. Remember: I almost never print anything with colors.
I opened one of the color cartridges (it's difficult and messy): it's full of ink. Really, FULL!
They added on each cartridge a microchip, each time you print a page it decrements the counter. Even if no ink was used. So it's stupid to have independent cartridges for colors if they all go empty at the same time, even when they are still 90% full of ink.
And one pack of cartridges costs more than the printer itself.
Several times, I couldn't print something, because the printer told me there was no ink, when in fact the cartridges were FULL of ink. By full I mean more than 90% full!
Just not acceptable.
There is absolutely no way to bypass this.
Well, you can buy microchips (not from epson of course), remove the chips on the cartridges, and replace them. Which is a little tricky, but extends the life of the cartridges by A LOT.
Also I had a power outage once, the next time I needed to print, it took 25 minutes to be able to print something: it had to clean the print heads 5 times, 4 minutes each time.
In the end, this printer is EXTREMELY expensive, considering all the expensive ink you have to buy (when there is still lots of ink in each cartridge), and it is very unreliable.

This printer was just what I needed as it had Wi-Fi, Scanning and Copying capabilifies. Although this printer can print photos, this is a feature I do not plan on using. The printer is compatible with Mac and was easy to set-up. Cons were that the LED screen is not a touch screen and you have to use the menu buttons to toggle through functions. The other con is that you have to make sure that the Output Tray is fully extended, otherwise your job will not print. Other than that its good printer for the price.

Epson printers have been my go to for several years. Although you have 4 color cartridges, the price, if using color printing sparely, is not an issue. I use black mostly. And if black runs out you can still print in black/white automatically using the colors. It does it automatically if you say OK. I like the wireless printing and simple controls. Perfect for the family.

I bought this to have a printer in the house. I have a color laser in my home office, but that is not attached to my house.
This does a great job of quickly printing and colors.
My biggest problem is that every time I want to use it, I have to open the printer. It is so it stays small, but its pretty annoying that I have to be in front of it to print. I suppose, you could always keep the tray open if you wanted to.

A good, relatively low cost all-in-one printer. The printing is much quicker and better resolution than the canon it replaced. Easy to calibrate as well for when it doesn’t print right the first time.

The XP-6100 provides good quality printing. I was disappointed that the output tray does not automatically extend or retract, but needs to be pulled out and pushed in manually. The printer is a good, compact size.

Printer was easy to set up on all of our computers. Quality printing. Love having the 2 sided capability. Only inconvenience is we have to leave the front doors open with the output tray extended to be able to print at anytime.

This printer was a bit more than I wanted to spend on a printer but I figured you get what you pay for. So I didn't want to be cheap about it. This printer had been working pretty great. I'm not a huge fan of wifi based printers because they never seem to work as well vs. plugging it into the actual computer. This still proves to be pretty accurate with this printer. It is a bit grumpy and sometimes doesn't want to work even if it's connected to the wifi. However, when it does want to work it does a great job. I will say its nice it did come with a wire to plug it in but I'm currently not using it. I have yet to try the scanner function but I have no questions about it not working as I'm sure it will work fine. All and all its a great printer but like with any printer it can be finicky.

This printer is perfect for me. 1st it has a very small footprint allowing me to put on a file cabinet behind my desk in home office. Then the quality of what I have printed has been excellent. The wifi printing has eliminated a cord to my laptop and I can print from my cell phone If needed. I have not had long enough to see how the ink holds out but have been impressed with everything else on this printer.

I have used HP printers for a long time but since I can't purchase ink cartridges for one and the other printer will not work without messing with it for hours, I changed brands. I bought this Epson, set it up without screaming, cursing or pulling my hair out. It prints from my computer, I phone and I pad. It is quiet and prints beautifully, copies and scans.

This printer is great! It’s small, makes quality prints and is quick! Set was easy, Although it has very detailed print parameters which can be confusing or overlooked prior to “print”. So far we ❤️ this printer! It’s so compact …
Thx for the new design

Works great. Wireless. Prints fast. The only downside is that the ink is expensive and runs out fairly quickly. But it does a lot in a very small compact size so it was perfect for my small home office

The expression premium XP-6100 is a great small printer that does what it is advertised to do except double side printing. Any printer will print double sided if you follow there instructions. Other than that it is a great printer, copier. I haven't tried the fax function yet, but I am sure it does that well. The wireless feature is great, I can use my laptop and phone to print what I need.

I actually wasn't in the market for a printer until my ISP insisted that we install their new gateway/router device, After doing so I discovered that we could no longer print wirelessly through our trusty old Epson Workforce 60 printer, After hours of struggle, I eventually discovered that the problem related to the WF-60s outdated WEP version, and the lack of support for it in the new gateway. So, I went shopping for a new Epson. To save space, the new printer would have to have all of the features of two printers, which included those of our old Stylus Photo 300M as well. The Epson XP-6100 seemed to fit the bill so I ordered one from Best Buy, after verifying from an on-line copy of the user manual that it was WEP2 compliant. Best buy offered same day delivery so I also gave that a try. As promised the printer showed up at my door in about four hours, A few minutes later, I had it set up and printing. More recently I have tested its photo and CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc printing capabilities as well as its scanner. I can report that all three are quite impressive! Overall this is a great printer, and I highly recommend it, as well as Best Buy for their fast delivery and follow up communication.

After trying a few other printers I went back to the Epson XP-6100 Expression Premium Wireless all in one Printer. I have used Epson printers for 15 years and this model is excellent for my home and small business use. Best Buy sales person was very helpful in locating one for shipment to me.
Thanks from a long time Bes Buy customer.
