Originally I purchased this to take care of all kinds of paperwork I needed for doctors visits and disability paperwork. But I have also printed out some nice portraits with it as well. Ink can definitely get expensive I am sure. I would suggest to always make sure it is set to black and white when printing regular documents.

I switched to Epson after 3 failed HPs. This printer is reliable and prints nicely. Easy to set up the wireless.

Set up was a breeze. An amazing amount of features. Many printing abilities; cd label printing, scanning, photo printing. All done very well. Also, so many ways to connect and print to the printer. Wi-Fi, network, usb, etc. Unbelievably awesome for the price. Quality seems great, just hope for longevity.

This is a great printer for the price. The print quality and speed is great and has duplex printing. It is pretty easy to use although you do have to pull out the paper output tray whereas our previous Epson printer did this automatically. But again great for the price (I think we paid about $80 for it).

The Epson XP-640 is a great little printer, copier, and scanner. It takes up very little space. I got it on sale, so I couldn't be happier with it for the money I spent. It suits my needs very well. The quality is outstanding. It is very user friendly. Glad I got it.

Purchased this while it was on sale for $70. Specs were better on this than on similar priced/functions of HP printers, which is what I have always used. Print quality and speed are outstanding. Two things that I have had to get used to are: 1)LCD is not touch screen; 2) Output tray must be pulled out before it prints, so if i'm printing from another room, as I usually do, I need to go to the printer to be sure it is in correct position. Biggest issue with this purchase was the in-store price was $5 higher than the price listed in the weekly ad. This was second item in a row, within 30 days, that was higher in-store than advertised online or in the ads. Cashier was able to correct both items to lower price, but it was inconvenient to have to prove the lower price. Sure glad I did my research on both items before going to store. Feel sorry for those who don't. It would have cost me extra $15 between the two items.

The setup was easy, ans the print quality is pretty good. I have yet to use the scanner.

This printer is great and easy to use. Setup was a breeze and the quality is incredible.

I bought the printer in a hurry because the one I had at home died. The setup took longer than I thought it would, and the machine itself seems a little 'cheap'. But you get what you pay for :) It does what I need it to do at home and works more quickly than my old printer.

This is a great compact printer. Prints great. Will give as a gift for my son.

This is a pretty nice printer and it comes with many options for a lower price. It was rather easy to setup - had it up and running with no problems tied directly to a Windows 10 PC via a USB printer cable. One item that takes a little bit of getting used to is that this is not a touch screen display. Instead of just touching the screen to choose an option, you have to look at the symbol being displayed and then choose the key to the side of the display that has that symbol. This is not hard once you train yourself that it is not a matter of just touching the display screen.
